STEAM - the Hunt for tinies

Ephraim the the elephant was exhausted. And a bit annoyed. It was always the same with Elsbeth. She needed ages to dress up. Added there a cog wheel to her dress then some shiny stuff here and feather there. It was horrible. And when he finally had managed to sleep while standing she came around and yelled at him.

I love the tiny community and enjoy to visit it from time to time but im not a real tiny as i spend most of the time in human form and many tinies do not even have such a form. So its cool that the steampunk hunt even includes gifts for tinies. The hunt gift from tiny ruffles contains two gifts a suit for the tiny gentleman and a dress for the tiny lady. To wear them at the elephant avis from tiny inc i needed to stretch them a bit but i guess that most tinys are used to the fact that the bodys of the tiny avis are not exactly the same, as there are tinys which are a bit more slender than other tinys. Both outfits are of course steampunk themed. They both come with a hat which fits to the colour of the outfit. The dress for the lady has some ruffles and is a bit more playful than the formal suit for the gentleman. Both outfits are great for tinys and those who plan to spend some time as tiny.

The vain princess

Once upon a time there was a tiny elephant princess.

She was a very vain princess.

So she demanded a gown in the colour of a gem everyday from her subjects.

If they didn t obey she sprayed water over them.

So one day she wore a dress which was green like an emerald.

The next day her gown had the colour of a ruby.

One day she even wore a dress which was shiny as a diamond, but she made it very dirty.

But the day she wore a sapphire gown in the colour of the water of a lagoon in the begining afternoon something unexpected happend to her.

She met a magus who was on a journey. She thought that it was one of her subjects so she demanded "i want a gown in all colours of the rainbow from you". The magus simply said "no". So she became angry and started to spray water at him.
The magus stroked for a moment over his beard and pushed then his staff into the ground.
The princess got more angry and sprayed water at him. But it was to late a mighty spell started to work on her.
When the red clouds disappeard she had to recognize that she had a completly different shape. She had become human. The magus had been so kind to transform not only her he also transformed her dress so she wasn`t naked.
Angry she wanted to spray at the magus but he laughed and handed her a handkerchief. After that he told her that she will only get her true form back when she would manage to make a gown in all colours of the rainbow herself. So she went on a journey to learn from the most talented couturiers, hoping to become an elephant princess again.

The Elephant avatars are available in many colours. For example natural grey but also different shades of green, blue, orange, yellow. There is even one in patchwork look so the avatar look like Elmer the patchwork elephant.

The yearning Ottermaiden

The little Ottermaiden waits yearning for her mate. When will the shiny otterman come home and bring fish and storys about catching fish? She waits wearing her best dress and looking to the ocean wondering if salty water is good for otters.

Xen has not only this cute dress in her store. She also sells costumes. I had to laugh very much when i saw her turkey costume at the harvest festival in avilion. And she sells not only stuff for two legged tinys she also has some costumes for quads.

Not able to bear the waiting anymore she puts on her gardening dress to care for her plants. But also this doesen' t cheer her up.

Black Moon is the only shop i know which sells stuff for tinys and for biggys. So you could take your biggy with you when you go shopping. The stuff for tinys is sold in a big teapot and even cookies are served (only for tinys of course).


So she organizes a remember x-mas party with her bunny friend. It doesen' t help. She only argues with the bunny and feels more depressed.

Her friends try to get her to have other thoughts so they invite her to a gallery opening. The opening is fine but she smokes to much and ends up with headache.

Tiny Inc. is a wonderful shop. I found it because the owner once gave me a very cute gift when i met her in a store (the cuddling elephant toy) and so i went to her store and was impressed by all the wonderful clothes and items she builds.


She walks again to the see hoping that her true love comes home now but no ship is seeable.


After the walk to the sea she feels even more lonesome. So she goes home and grabs her mate's wintercoat out of the closet. When breathing his scent she smiles.

Otterwise has not only wintercoats, in this store are also some lovely costumes for tinys sold. So if you ever wanted to be a tiny fireman or a tiny knight visit Otterwise. And to my hatchie friends go there and grab a free tiny barrel. I think that will suit every hatchling and we could hide cookies in them.


And the other day she goes to the sea again. And there he is his ship is just sailing into the haven. She waves allready looking forward to nuzzle with HIM on a couch and listen to all his adventures.

They only need to scare the dragon and the owl from their cuddling couch... So how will it end. Will the dragon and the owl leave the couch or not? Has the great otterman to sail again?

Lilliput for Tinies is a very nice store. It has nice furniture, pretty dresses and i once bought a great bow gesture for tinys there. Very lovely are the cakes for tinys. If you have some time you should not only visit the store in raglan have a look at the mainstore.

For this blogged i used the otteravi from Wynx. The Owl is also from that store. The dragon avatar is the Spirit Hatchling from Isle of wyrms.

Hearts and blue Chairs

At the moment the Cupid Heart Hunt is going on. Id like to show some of the hunt gifts.

Some dogs like chocolate. This outfit contains some chocolate so i had to recognize that it attracts wolfs. Or maybe he thought that there is a cat because of the boots. An other reason could be the munch pixie - food envy.

Some time ago i wrote about the rocking chair and the catbed from Brat~[T] Designs . Now i won a house on their Midnight mania board and an other rocking chair. The house has only 77 Prims. Here some pictures of it.

The Fireplace is very nice. I made some chocolate on it.
