[sun - straw - ink]

Vestigium is having a Summer Sale right now, with all items in store being marked down to 50 L$. There is a lot of (mostly) unisex tattoos to be admired and bought and also a few clothing items for your summery wardrobe, but my eyes got instantly drawn to the lovely ink that's offered in store. The one I'm wearing, called Japanese Gods, is one of the three tattoos I bought, and I certainly didn't regret it; each tat comes on all clothing layers and the tattoo-layer, in three different states of fading. The sale's still up at the time of posting, but since no end date has been announced, you better hurry over right away!

The lovely straw hat I'm wearing is a collaboration between RONSEM and Black Maria, which is pretty well-known for their mostly punky hairstyles. The hair is attached to the hat and mod, which makes adjustment rather easy, and each pack comes with three different shades of the colour you've chosen - for 100 L$ only, a true deal! Grab yourself a hat and enjoy the sun as long as it lasts! :)

Black Eric

They called him Eric the black. Not because of his hair. He tinted it regularly and nobody had a clue which colour it normaly had. Eric got his name because he was one of the bravest surfers in the area. His face normaly told a story about this.

He went surfing when all his friends stayed at home. He was the one who even was on the water when it was clear that a thunderstorm would start in the next ten minutes but he loved it. He enjoyed the challenge very much.

But to surf so much really made a difference. So it was him who won all contests. And he was the one who became a famous designer of surf clothing and surfboards after his carrer as surfer. They all had supposed that he would be insane but he only was crazy enough to be really good in everything he did.

Quite often new second life residents cross my way and it is often tricky for me to help the male ones to dress up so that they look less like a newbie. I do not really have a clue about free items for guys so I started a challenge on flickr with the title "Switch your gender for 0 Linden". The task is to create an avatar of the gender you normaly not use in second life without paying a linden for it. I have to admit I failed because I used eyes from Sterling artistry eyes which are 50 Linden and this version of the avatar is barefoot which is also not really perfect so I need to try it again. But its a start I guess.
When visiting the skin and shape expo 2011 I picked up the gift shapes from moonlight shapes. There was a male shape in the gift which has the name Carl. The skin is a gift from sacred. To get it you need to take part in a enquiry. Its a really great skin and I love the wounds it has.
The hair is a combination of a hairtattoo from white widow in the skate'n surf hunt and hair from blackmaria, a cool japanese store which has lots of free punk hair. The clothing also comes from the skate'n surf hunt. The top is the gift from Orquidea and the shorts the male gift from apricot paws.

Blind

People turned around when she was walking throught the streets. Wearing two eyepatches at once to hide the empty holes in her face. The wounds never seemed to heal. She didn't know when she woke the last time without having the metalic taste of her own blood in her mouth. People who were new to the city sometimes tried to rob her. They all wanted the silver shining earring she wore.

But they normaly learned quickly that being blind does not mean being helpless.

This great black dress and the Mask and the Earring are on the lucky boards at Silver*Roses. A great store for gothy dresses and awesome masks. They also got great Makeuplayers. Its just a store absolutly worth to visit. And the dress is just sweet. It looks like having a corset at the front and comes with a skirt with white lace unter it. The textures are well made so that they look realistic.

A few weeks ago i found this amazing little store... and quickly I fall in love..

Nuzzling on a mushroom

While training to become a treehugger its a good idea to start with something smaller for example with a mushroom. But the trick is not to fall asleep while doing so.

The hair is from blackmaria, a store for free punk hair. This one reminded me a bit on haircuts skinhead girls sometimes have. But a friend said in his opinion it looks like rockabilly hair.
