The Huntress And Her Prey

Adira was an experienced huntress, but she was a ranger above everything. She loved the woods, be it Winter or Summer... every season held some unique charm for her. In Winter she enjoyed the soft duvet of white snow that covered the ground, the silence and the sharp sunlight twinkling on the frozen pond. Spring was the season of rebirth, with the birds chirping and singing, and the fresh, crispy smell of the wet earth under her boots. Summer was bountiful, offering her berries and mushrooms... and Autumn was golden, sleepy decay.

Whenever hunger and necessity called for it, though, Adira became a killer. Armed with her sharp knives and accompanied by her pet raven who served as her scout, she dived into the forest... and did not leave until she had her prey. A rabbit, usually, or a pheasant... and very, very seldom even something bigger, like a young deer.

And today Adira was walking the hunting path again. Her pantry was empty, so was her stomach... and it looked like Black Claw, the raven, smelled something as he was hopping on the shoulder of his mistress quite impatiently. “Shhhh.... let’s go and see what it is, shall we, Clawie?” – whispered Adira, and sprung forward...

... and tomorrow morning I’m telling you what she found.

Outfit: Black Cat Bones „Storm” that also includes the boots – Lucky Cage prize for this week (0 L$). The outfit is very well done, and I particularly like the small elaborate details, such as the hand stitching on the riveted belt, the soft paisley pattern of the underskirt, the coil of rope hanging on the belt and the second knife half hidden in the left boot.

Hair: Alice Project „Persuasion SE” in Brown – Lucky Board prize (0 L$). The hair is rigged mesh, the giftbox contains three sizes and two alpha layers, plus the hairtips are tintable.

EMO-tions at the Gor Fest

On the planet Resuna all grownup women had the same skin. The reason was that only women lived on the planet and they all have been clones. The only chance they had to look different was to colour their hair and to cut it in different ways. Beside their cloning technology Resuna was a medivial planet. But that just to the background.

Persephone wanted to fight she was full of power and on the way to get the black castle back. She hoped to conquer the red sorceress. She was called red sorceress because she always wore black. And she was tricky.
When reaching the bridge which was the only way to the castle of the sorceress Persephone suddenly became rather tired. She decided to take a rest. If she would have taken a look into the water she would have seen the bones of lots of warriors who had a rest there before.
The red sorceress went regularly, whispered with her crow and performed a ritual. It was secret but worked well. She only had to do it every week.
What she didn`t knew that one of the woodrunners watched her behaviour now for several month and had also recognized that the ritual worked best when it just had been performed and got weaker at the end of the week. She also had developed a technique to rescue the tired women from the bridge. She only needed to aim well with her lasso. She rescued one or two of them every week so she hoped to have enough warriors in a year to get the castle for herself.
.:EMO-tions:. is one of the two sponsors of the GorFest & Merchant Fair 2010. A fair which helps Relay for Life. .:EMO-tions:. have a lovely tent there. They sell great medivial/fantasy outfits and stunning hair. When seeing the outfits its just obvious who much Mirja Mills, the designer of EMO-tions, loves to create them.

The serenity dress comes with a skirt in two lengthes and a shawl. The skirt has a very well made leather belt. The hair i used with the outfit is also from EMO-tions. Its named NALA and it was rather easy to make it fit my avi. I like it that it looks a bit messy.

The Persephone dress is perfect for every warrior. For owned warriors it comes with a fitting collar. I like it that the coat is attatched to the shoulder armour. The armour on the arms is asymetric so you could wear a sword on the right hand and use a shield on the left. The outfit also could work as lingerie as a thong is inclueded and the corset is very sensual. In the set are also two kinds of skirts included a closed and a open one. And what i don`t want to forget to mention the hair is included. It is side partened and contains a resize script.

Immortal is a nice red gown with a corset over the top. It has very long sleeves which follow the movements of the arms. The square neck has a black seam.

At Saturday 11 SLT a fashionshow is going to take part at the gorfest. There also outfits from EMO-tions will be shown so thats a good chance to see the dresses in 3-D.

By the way the Gor Fest is fun. The Organisators are kind and helpful and they know how to deal with lazy hatchlings.

Spellbound at the gor fest

Spellbound is taking part at the GorFest & Merchant Fair 2010. Well they are not only taking part they are even one of the sponsors of the fest, the other sponsor of the event is EMO-tions. The gor fest is a gorean charity event for relay for life. But that does not mean that it is only intresting for people who are into gorean roleplay. Normaly gorean clothes fit also well to other roleplay for example the heidi and the clarissa gowns which i show in this blog entry fit to fantasy roleplay and even don`t look wrong on steampunk sims. The GorFest & Merchant Fair 2010 takes part from July 4th - 11th and everybody is welcome there. A lot of the best gorean designers have a booth at the "Oasis of Hope Market" At each day of the fest in the time from 12pm to 8pm SLT events take place at the fest. You could find the calendar for the events here. Goreans in the Relay For Life is one of the most successful relay for life teams in second life.

Spellbound has many donation items on the fest. If you buy a donation item the money does not go to the designer, it goes to relay for life. For example this red gown. It has a cut i have seen seldom in second life. I like the lace details a lot. As all items i know from Spellbound all the system parts come on all layers.

This gown in lavendar is very playful and comes with a cute flower headdress. It also has some cute lace pieces.

This dress is one of my favourite pieces from Spellbound. Its possible to wear the top as corset (without the red shirt under it). The handwarmers are also very comfy but well they are a bit disturbing when holding a sword in the hand but as it is possible to take them off this isn t a real problem.

The Heidi gown in cream also has two possibilities to wear it. The shirt comes like shown on the picture and in a version without the lace on the chest. In the sets are two skirts included. One with a overskirt and one without. Both look very good. The cuffs on the upper and lower arms look like they are hold on their position by a band wrapped around them.

This outfit is very short, very sensual and has a sheer version included. It also comes with a headdress and has a lot of attatchments with flowers.

The heidi gown is not available in cream there are also more colours of it available. I wasn`t able to resist the green version.
