Simple chic

I love this clean cut smart casual look which is centered around these delicious unisex shirts were a new release at 22769 this weekend just passed. There are 10 colours to choose from and at only 45L why not have them all! I'm still gushing over the hairs at handmade isn't this one so chic? and I'll briefly mention the bag before I dash off to RL yes that pesky thing that gets in the way! it's currently a luckyboard grab and has shoulder or hand held options, OH and you can change the colour to black too if you so please.

What's going on?

I'll tell you what is going on! well there's a sale on hairs at Tameless so I'll have some of that thank you, the hair in this picture is discounted but it's not in store it's as it's for the 'stuff in stock' event. Stuff in stock is a new event  and this round runs until 1st March, all items vary between 30 - 80L. Then there's a mini carnival hunt at censored where I picked up this lovely little denim mini skirt. Great new luckyboard goodies to be had at Bonne chance and Le Poppycock too....*dashes off to find more goodies*..............

Putting together the pieces

The biggest part of being a blogger for me, and I'm sure many others is putting together the outfits to complete a look. I'm always impressed with skins from Al Vulo and so I'm thrilled with the latest group gift, I love the tones of the skins and creator Hlin Bluebird is always so generous with group gifts. I think this skin particularly suits this shape by Bodiacious body works which as you can see, is very curvy!

Of course I adore those boys at 22769 and was naturally drawn to this pretty 'purple' blouse that they have made for the Black market. Sorry boys it's pink in my eyes, hmm ok I'll pass it for lilac then :D either way it certainly is very pretty and a bargain at 40L.

Psssst also I'm wearing mens jeans shhh! the low slung look still works for women too - just! they have a lovely design on them and come in a leather effect too, they are transferable so ladies buy some for your fellas and if you just can't stand to part with them, well don't!

To catch a snowflake

Should the approach of winter be bleak? no! it should be full of wonderful vibrant winter colours! and I love nothing more than fabulous shades of purple and pink! and that's one reason that I was drawn to these amazing boots from Kristica created as a special limited offer for XYROOM (events run for 3 weeks before rotation)

This divine unisex hair is a current group gift at Dura and the scarf is also a group gift at SMS which comes in 2 colours with and without the brooch option. Gotta love this jumper which is a luckyboard item at Bonne Chance, there's also a mens version in green on the boards.

Now I hate to blog items that are no longer available and it annoys me when I see other blog posts that do as it always seems to be that I only want the item that is not available! however sometimes you put a look together and it's only when you go in store to make a slurl that you realise this error. The great news is in the case there are similar alternatives available. The trousers were a halloween gift at Pesca which are no longer available, however there are some very similar ones in different shades if you like the style. Likewise with the skin (former Zombie popcorn hunt item) but if you want a great freebie gift skin, and you do follow the slurl below the eagle eyed amongst you may still be able to catch the recent zombie popcorn hunt item which although has finished now is still in store.

Picking up the threads

There are many fabulous items to be picked up, what with all the new releases and so many hunts which are currently on the go that's so hard for a lady like me who has had to postpone her second life momentarily to pick up the threads. So yes I'm picking up the threads of where I left off and of course the threads as in clothes - sigh - sorry hehe.

 I decided that I needed to start somewhere and so I opted for The I need New Hunt (inn hunt) which runs from the 1st  - 30th October (check HERE for more details on participating stores you're looking for a bow) and the Seasons Hunt which is always a firm favourite (details  - HERE runts until the 29th October & you're looking for a pumpkin).

I'm absolutely loving Vero Modero's new boot collection and especially the Genova boots which I'm wearing below. They come in 5 great colours and I've got the feeling they're going to be hard to beat for my seasons favourite item.
