Green Silks

She adored her new, fresh outfit. Green was her favourite colour, and she wore it whenever she could. For certain weeks of the year she donned red and gold, now and then she had white on, for a few days she was even clad in pink…. but nothing was like the silky, soft, bright green. She felt alive, blooming and splendid when she could wear her emerald dress.

It was May and the last light pink flowers just dropped off the branches of the old peach tree in the garden. The fresh, tender green leaves were still growing but they already foretold a glorious summer. The tree softly rustled as if it wanted to dance in the sunshine. Spring has finally arrived.

I seldom write about Gorean fashion (as in many aspects the so-called philosophy of Gor openly clashes with some of my fundamental principles in any life whatsoever), and I never participate at an event about modern clothes (please convince me about the importance of buying a pair of SL jeans when I can do that any time IRL...). Said that, I must admit I was smitten by the amazing silks and jewellery set that I found in the Event Hollywood Swag Bag offered by Kastle Rock. The topknot and the eyes are also an Event Hollywood gift, and you still have the chance to get them before this weekend is over. I picked up the skin in an Easter egg hunt that will be on for the whole month of April. Evie's closet at The Fantasy Faire

Polonadine lived her whole life in obscurity, hidden from society and locked away in long forgotten folly which lay dormant in King Tyrodone's Castle grounds. For when she was born, she had been granted with a magical gift of beautiful golden nectar infused hair, which was the only source of nectar on which the Monarch Morphios butterfly could feed. It was her legacy that she, Polonadine, would be responsible for the preservation of these rare species of butterfly. As she was such a striking beauty King Tyrodone soon heard of this young maiden with her rare gift and decided that he must have her as his own.



Polonadine had never attempted to break free from her incarceration but one day she grew curious. That was the day when the kings Lepidopterist came for his usual visit. Polonadine had convinced the man she had seen a new unknown species of butterfly and that it must be investigated at once! Polondine told the Lepidopterist that the new species liked not humidity, but the coolness of the well, and as he made to look in the well Polonadine pushed the man in! As Polandine reached the boundaries of the Castles confines she lamented, actually, she thought, I do have such pretty clothes and many books to read, I have no chores to do, perhaps I should give this more thought. As she turned and made back for the folly, she considered her options which would not be difficult, especially since Lepidopterist had met such and unfortunate fate & who else knew so much about butterflies?

Continuing on my Fantasy Faire theme I share this beautiful outfit from Evie's closet there are 4 other colour/design options available all with matching butterfly crowns, I probably didn't co-ordinate my properly but I still like it a lot!

Teen style

So of all people my son sets me a blogger challenge, he says "mum why don't you ever do a look for girls?" I don't ever intend to do child avatar I just don't sit comfortably with that, however it did get me thinking of looks for teens and this is my creation.

Granted sons response was not favourable but hey what does he know he's a boy! and I would totally dress this way if I were a teen, actually I probably did, come to think of it now I actually did own an outfit exactly like this *blushes* But anyway I enjoyed putting this look together and I think it would be rather fun to see more teen style out there on the blogs.

Simple chic

I love this clean cut smart casual look which is centered around these delicious unisex shirts were a new release at 22769 this weekend just passed. There are 10 colours to choose from and at only 45L why not have them all! I'm still gushing over the hairs at handmade isn't this one so chic? and I'll briefly mention the bag before I dash off to RL yes that pesky thing that gets in the way! it's currently a luckyboard grab and has shoulder or hand held options, OH and you can change the colour to black too if you so please.

Another store new to me that I want to share is Handmade for these lush hairs at the bargain price of 80L!! The one on the left picture has an extension attachment which I am wearing in the pic. I love the range of colours and their quirky names such as Mirren, Murphy and Salade but to name a few!
