Roses for Christmas

It had been over two days of reading and searching but Isobel still had not found the spell which would allow her to spawn roses for her true love. Even in the oldest books about lovespells she could not find any useful information. So she started to experiment.

Some hours later she struggled with making her tendrils stop growing as it itched. It kept her from reading about how to transform herself back. At least she would have enough roses to decorate her house for christmas with them. She was even tempted to start to grow very rare roses on her head and to open a flowerstore it would cause way less trouble than being a magician.

Today is the last day of the Zombie Popcorn Dark Magic winter. So its time to use the last chance to see the sim and to get some of the event items. But there are also great items at Zombie Popcorn Brand. For example the grey cape from Quarantine. The primparts are either mod or have a resizescript. There is an alpha layer included to hide the body but it is also possible to make it fit without using that layer. It goes very well with the grey trousers from Elan. Those are high-waisted. They could either be worn with the included prim parts or in boots like on the picture. The boots and the trousrers are both items from the Dark Magic Winter event. They come from VC Designs and are available in several colours. I liked the black ones best. The boots are great in winter as there is fur in them so the feet won't become cold. Of course the boots have a well working resizescript.
The outfit on the 2nd picture comes from Aliza Karu. Its possible to make it fit a smallish avatar like mine without spending hours on a posestand and it is very pretty and unique. It comes with hair with roses and a dress and the bra like top. All of the items are no copy but trans so the outfit might be a great x-mas gift. Its one of those dresses which are simply made to take stunning pictures of them. The pose which has been used for the picture comes from the doll set from Captivity & Co. . The furniture on the picture comes from mudhoney. Its also one of the event items from the dark magic winter. The set includes the bookshelf, the sofa, an ottoman, a pile of books and a pile of books with a magician hat on top. The items are copy so its possible to have a lot of books in the house. The green carpet comes from Libertine.

Mature Dreams

Elvira was happy. She had not supposed that she would be able to pass the test. But surprisingly enough she didn't fail at all. Now she was allowed to show her ears in public. It was a test all had to pass if they wanted to be seen as mature. The easy part was answering a bunch of questions about the history of the society of dream. But then it became tricky. They had to create a dream. Elvira had hoped that she would get the task to create a beautiful dream. She was known for having some talent for those dreams.

But instead of this she got the task she did not want at all. Creating a nightmare. This was the moment when she was sure that she would fail. First she thought about monsters, tentacles, thin hairy legs with clawed feet. But the time she had been given to design the dream was to short to create scary sounds so she decided to improvise. The dream she created was one of the most horrible ones which had been ever created. It was about waking, getting ready for work, going to work, working, going back home, watching a boring tv-show, going to bed. Everyday for the rest of the dreamers life. None of the testers wanted that the dream would ever be used. But they kept it hidden in a safe. Just in case that they would need to torture somebody.

Wasabi Pills released new hair which is available in two versions. Its called Kiki. The haircut looks like a bob which is a bit more feathery at the tips. There is one version which has two long streaks at the front and one without the streaks like on the picture. As all hair from Wasabi Pills it is available in many colours and has a resizescript. When owning some more hair from this store fitting hair becomes really comfy and easy as normaly it is possible to use the same values to make the hair fit, as they seem to be built in the same size. The ears are the Depraved Urban Wreckage Hunt gift from gauged. The hunt includes a lot of great stores for more informations its worth to take a look at the huntwebsite. They are amazingly easy to tint and the button in the earlobe can be textured in several ways. The gift includes a hud for tinting and texturing. The gothy dress comes from Aliza Karu. The system parts come on the jacket, trouser and glove layer. The prim parts do not include a resize script but it wasn't tricky in my opinion to make them fit my avatar. I like the collar with the lace and the lacing in the front very much. It might look very nice with other outfits for example combined with a short dress which does not cover the shoulders. The bleeding nose is a facetattoo from hysteria and the eyes come of course from Sterling Artistry.

Aliza Karu sent out this skin today as groupgift. Its a goth x-mas skin with many x-mas tattoos on it. The white collar comes from Virtual/Insanity. Its white which is kind of special for such an item, haas many spikes and a cross hanging down from it. Its copy and mod.

Spending time with friends

Sitting in the new Somapop / Diapop store wearing the latest Diapop release. The store just opened its new mainstore on a lovely island which reminds me very much on holidays. If it would be a real place i would love to spend my vacations there. As Soma and Dianne, the storeowners, love to DJ they also got an area for dancing there and there are also some smaller shops on the sim allready. Its a nice place to visit. The outfit is available in two versions in a white one and a golden one. Somehow i thought it would be a good idea to use this tattooed skin from Aliza Karu with it but im not so sure about that anymore. But well the jumpers are lovely and i like the texture Dianne gave them a lot.

Some free and some none free stuff for xmas

Trying to eat more than 5 candy canes at once but it does not work at all.

Virtual insanity also has some cool x-mas face tattoos. This one says "Im your pressent un wrap me". There are also others available like Santa's slut or one about being on the naughty list. The idea is great and they are also available in a version which looks like being written with lipstick.

Sometimes people who play the drums all day and are not able to keep the beat steady are annoying. So this little drummer girl got all beaten up by somebody who hoped that she finally might learn on this way to beat her drum in a constant way. The oufit is on the lucky chair. Unfortunaly its not possible to modify the skirt so the dress only fits normal sized avatars.

Gothic Spring

The gothic spring standing in the snow and searching for black flowers. She is very tired and insecure if its her time to wake. This very asymetric dress is a group gift from Aliza Karu Style. It comes with a top with black roses on it and a skirt which looks like being open at one side. The skirt is fixed with some black ropes and there are some more black roses. The fitting makeup to the dress comes from A:S:S they got much more styles than the used one in store and they all look great.

Firefly

A pale demon warming herself a bit in the fire. Slowly her body becomes warmer and she starts to dance. The fire hair from the Tracy pack from the red seal hunt is just great. It looks very much like fire and fits very well to the new lucky board skins from Dimbula rose.

Dimbula Rose have new halloween skins on their lucky boards. I was keen on the one with the butterflys and the bats. Its just lovely. I love the butterflys at the eyes and the ones all over the body look quite nice.

Combinations

Sometimes when opening boxes strange things happen. For example i was all excited when i saw that likka house is taking part in the No Strings Attached hunt. So i quickly went there and grabbed the hunt item. A pink dress with cute bows at the arms and the calves (if you like to see all hunt items a friend blogged them). Later i won a great gothic outfit at one of the Aliza Karu lucky chairs. And when i tested it i only took off the skirt and the system parts of the Likka house dress and got a strange mix of black, white and pink i like.

Goth style

Wearing a black, white striped dress with some red details and secretly thinking of planing to listen to the white stripes. The dress is unique has a great corset and its not possible to sit in it. It is a gift on the midnight mania board from Aliza Karu.

This black dress i even like more. Its very open and looks like a black flower at the same time. I had to resize it but that wasn`t very tricky.

On an other lucky chair which is group only i won a great tattoed skin.
Its tattood on the whole body. I like the wild mix of tattoos. Its kind of messy so it looks like marks somebody collected during her life. To hide the bits i used the new gift from cogoo. A bikini. It comes on all layers with sculpted bikini strips.

Dancing in black

A friend told me about a nice luckychair and freebie group, named free-licious, where it is allowed to post items which are on group lucky boards. Im now for maybe two days in this group and it has been very helpful. The people in it are able to answer a lot of questions and like sharing their knowledge. Because of this group i won this lolli goth dress. Its works well to dance around in it and the textures are well made. It comes with black fishnet stockings with a lace top (hidden under the dress) which work also well with nice underwear. The lacing is a complete system one.
