Demon jokes

Although the furniture was old and the walls shabby was the club in the bunker one of the most exclusive ones in the city. Asura had absolutly no problems to be allowed to join.Some people thought that she the crown of spikes she had around her head would be a form of a stigmata. Asura always laughed when she read their minds. She was one of the mystical beings in the town. Or even more she was a demon. The story of Jesus had always amused her and she loved to tease the angels she met now and then so she had used spikes to make herself a crown of them. It worked well. It made angels so angry. Now and then they tried to attack her in the club. Asura always pretended to be massivly hurt so that the angels were thrown out. It was way to easy to manipulate humans, angels were way more fun.

Diapop created a black dress which reminds a bit on the fashion of the 1920s. The set contains black gloves and knee socks. It comes on all layers and the primparts are modifiable. I really like the bell like sleeves for the upper arms. The whole outfit looks very sophisticated in my opinion. Hysteria takes part in the Grunge Soul Project. Their item is a crown of spikes with a fitting tattoo layer, so that it looks like blood would be running out of the wounds the spikes cause.
The couch and the plate of fruits on it come from Libertine. Libertine is a subbrand of Fallen Gods Inc., which sells furniture, decorations and houses. The Couch belongs to the Marquis Set, which is the first Libertine release. It is included in an adult and a mature version. Up to four avatars can sit on the couch. The animations are, no matter if they are for sitting innocently around, cuddling or even closer contact, always well chosen. The couch also gives out several items, for examples grapes which can be used to feed the partner with them. Beside the great functionalty the furniture is very well designed. Modeling in red boots

Evie wasn't rich enough to afford models to pose in her clothing. Luckily she was also not rich so she had to decide if she would buy cloth from her money or food and mostly she bought cloth. Which was not always healthy but good for her shape. So she was able to model the clothes she created. After a while she started to sell many of them. Which allowed her to buy more cloth and to create dresses which were even more stunning than the ones she had been making when she was broke.

Diapop and Somapop moved and has a nice dollarbie in their new store. Its a shirt and shorts in brown with a diamond pattern on it. The set comes with a fitting belt and its possible to mod the primparts to make the smaller. The new store of Diapop and Somapop reminds a bit on an empty factory building and is worth a visit.
Virtual/Insanity has a lot new items and the choker with the cross is one of them. The set includes two versions, one with a bigger cross and one with a smaller one. Those who do not want an inverted cross can modify the choker and just turn the cross around. There are also a fitting belt, fingernails and a legband avilable.
The red boots come from bax. They still have the wonderful service that they fit the boots in the store which is just so comfy and useful. Beside the great customer service the boots are of course awesome. Its possible to choose between four colours for the leather and several colours for the heel, sole and some more parts of the boots. Its possible to fold the boot-tops down (with several options for the texture inside of the boot-tops) or to hide the top part of the boots.
The skin is the Eboni Skin from ND/MD. I had to look how it would look on my normal shape and love the result. The hair comes from Magika. They have new colour sets now which contain a lot of colours at once.
The pose comes from Miamai. It belongs to a set which will be sold at the Vintage Fair which starts tomorrow. Its a great set of modeling poses.

Feeling the wind

The wind blowed softly through the long fingernails. It promised rain maybe even a thunderstorm and the return of a bird species which had not been seen for more than 30 years. At the most days Saran was annoyed about her fingernails but with the right kind of wind she was able to foresee the weather and a bit more with their help. Today was one of those days. She would sell the informations later. She hoped that she would once manage to foresee something which would allow her to cut her nails. But the wind was never really intrested in the future developments on the stockmarket.
Diapop has a new luckyboard. The prize is asheer grey top. It consists out of a system layer (on the jacket, shirt or undershirt layer) and a primbody. The body can be modified so its possible to make the top fit to the avatar. Although some suppose that the owner of Wasabi Pills is a violet monster, which nearly only eats cheese and is covered in bottle caps and cookies instead of scales, their latest release is very cute. Its short hair which has some longer streaks in the front. It could be either worn with or without the bow. The bow itself can be tinted in different patterns. I like the unique cut of the pony of the hair which reminds on a triangle. The hair is available in several colours and might even work when wanting to roleplay a housewife from the 50s. The really long nails come from Virtual/Insanity. They are included in 3 sizes in the set and it is possible to choose between several colours for every nail. The makeup, the wristlet and the shoes come from the same store. The makeup also contains more than only one colour in the set and the wristlet is just pretty. The Pose is a new release from Just a Pose. Its a set to show jewelry and of course also nails. The poses are currently sold on the jewelry fair.

Tennis Heros

Eve tried to calm down. She had trained now for month. She loved tennis so much. But she wanted to be way more than just being good in the game. She wanted to be one of the best and she wanted to be like her idol, Börn Borg.

Sometimes people tried to mock at her because of her hairband. But Eve had won so many matches while wearing it that she was very unwilling to take it off. She even trained to be as cool as Björn Borg. She payed her brother sweets and in exchange he called her names while she was training. So she became able not to react at words like "Fattie", "racquet stander" or "Armmuscle composer". At other days her brother disguised as judge and made wrong desicions to anger her. This trained her also to keep herself under control in real matches. Only once she nearly gave the judge of a real match some marshmellows.

Wasabi Pills released the ultimate hair for all tennis players. It is called Nami. The hair has a resizescript as all Wasabi Pills Hair and the hairband can be coloured in several ways. This makes this hair also fit for roleplayers. For example it fits to warriors who wear a hairband to keep their hair out of their eyes during fights. The hair is available in many colours and I counted 23 possibilites to tint the hairband. The hair is mod so its possible to tint the hairband using edit.
The outfits for this blogentry come both from a new store with the name Ariel 5. The store sells mainly well textured outfits for women. The upper outfit is called Eris. It comes with a skirt which looks like being made with a thicker fabric. It is combined with a top which looks knited and a knited drape. The drape and skirt are resizeable so it is easy to make them fit. The outfit can be worn in a sporty way like on the picture or combined with boots it works well to go shopping in it. The second outfit is called Hydra tank. Although its called tank it comes on the shirt, undershirt and undies layer and as far as I checked it covers all bits. So that it maybe could even be used as one of those swimsuits which have a hotpantlike cut at the legs.
The shoes are from Duh, the wristlets belong to a set from Dilly Dolls and the legwarmers to some shoes from Diapop.

Default me

I  love this look so much that I made it my default look , so if you see me round and about in SL you'll most likely see me wearing this! so just a quick tip and i'm sure most of you know it & will sigh but just incase someone doesn't it's handy to make a default folder of your favorite look, so when you're faffing about playing dolly dress up & you don't like what you've done you can go back to the 'old me' in the click of a button!

Simply go to appearance then down to the bottom of the page where it says make outfit click on that, a series of box will appear , make sure all of those are ticked , rename your folder and of course mine is renamed default fauna, save and hey presto job is done! I hope you like all these items as much as I do

Suiting white

Being caught in a dream. Fragments of the idea of fish swimming around while a giant tower arises.
The white body is the gift on the Diapop Luckyboard. Somehow the name of the outfit "come discover me" reminds me very much on the title of the first Moloko LP "Do You Like My Tight Sweater". Which fits as Dianne and Soma the owners of Somapop and Diapop normaly are dancing and djing when i meet them. But i have to admit i have no clue if they like Moloko.

Not only at the backside it is very well seeable how well Dianne could deal with the normal clothing layers. Just because of the texture it looks like there would be a band between the both sides of the body. On the frontside it looks like there would be lace inserted between cloth which looks a bit like cotton. The body comes on all layers so it is possible to wear for example leggins under it. It also should work as a sportoutfit. The necklace comes from Alchemy Immortalis. Ages ago i blogged it here. And it still seems to be on sale for 99$ on the marketplace. Its a wonderful piece of jewelery and worth every linden.

Painless Tattoos

Sometimes Tattoos are great but its even greater when they stay just for a short time. Diapop relased henna tattoos for the arms. Thats a good reason to combine them with some more Diapop and Somapop items. I blogged the green scarf ages ago. Its just a clothing layer so it keeps the Avatar rendering costs low. The shirt below the scarf is a ramones shirt. Always a good object to show some attitude. The jeans are also from diapop.

Spending time with friends

Sitting in the new Somapop / Diapop store wearing the latest Diapop release. The store just opened its new mainstore on a lovely island which reminds me very much on holidays. If it would be a real place i would love to spend my vacations there. As Soma and Dianne, the storeowners, love to DJ they also got an area for dancing there and there are also some smaller shops on the sim allready. Its a nice place to visit. The outfit is available in two versions in a white one and a golden one. Somehow i thought it would be a good idea to use this tattooed skin from Aliza Karu with it but im not so sure about that anymore. But well the jumpers are lovely and i like the texture Dianne gave them a lot.

Beside the cute poses Croire has some other cute stuff in the for the love of halloween gatcha party. I love the little bows you could get for the head. Training for circus

Standing at home balancing on stilts while training juggling. Why starting with juggling balls like everybody does if you could have fun with something hot.But after the roof started to burn two times i thought it would be time to train something less dangerous. So i drove through the flat on a unicycle. But it was a magical ones so i suddenly had claws instead of feet.
At the moment burning life is taking place. This year its named Burn 2 instead of Burning life 2010 and its much smaller. There are only 6 sims this year. But well that does not mean that it is less fun. Most amazing i found the flying circus which was created by the "Stilt Bitches". It looks a bit like a flying turtle and there is so much to explore and to find. They got some free circus clothes and very cool circus toys. Like the stilts and the unicycle. As Burn 2 will end at the 24th you should get your friends and visit the circus, ride the carousel, fly on the magic carpet, dress up as clown and get stilts.

The dress i used is new from diapop. It comes in four colours and i d like to show 3 of them. Its a very cute dress in my opinion. And i love the things on the shoulders. The hair is a freebie i found with the help of a new lucky chair and freebie group named "Sit Here Slap This". It is finally a group founded by active lucky chair stalkers so the moderators do not tell you to stop when having posted a lucky chair to often in a lucky chair group as it happened to me in Free-licious.

Autumn with Diapop

Traveling clowns

Two clowns have found an island. They hope to find somebody they could show their tricks there. So lightly excited they jump around a fireplace and play with balls and balloons.
Then both they try to train some new tricks. Like juggling together. But the female clown always drops one of the balls and gets sad.
So her friend gives her a balloon and they explore more of the island. But all the houses they find are just empty.
But they decide to look around if they find anything they could use.
They walk around and test all the old ships bop up and down in the water.
And at the end they find one. Its pretty old but they even find some fuel. So they put their few properties in the ship and start the ship. Hopeing to find soon somebody they could make laugh.

No Strings Attached takes part in Wear Gray for a day. A faire to help the american Brain Tumor Association. For that they will release the juggling and the balloon poses. Wear grey was started by Sanura Snowpaw, the owner of dreams. For more informations have a look at the wear grey blog.
The ship is the steampunk hunt gift from coogo. It looks cool and the oven is rather hot so you could even use it in cold areas.

Boots

Looking around at shadows of intent while wearing a pair of great boots. The boots are high enough to keep the water out of them when walking through the water at this place. Perse has a sale at the moment. So this is the perfect chance to get the pursay boots in all colours. Those boots are simply amazing in my opinion. I thought that a woman needs only a pair of decent high heels, sneakers and boots. So i hadn t bought shoes for a long time but wasn t able to resist the boots from perse. For me they are the perfect mix of modernity and classical elegance. The big pack of the boots contains the boots in 13 colours. And of each colour four versions (with buttons/without buttons and two kinds of shoes). Of course the colours are also available as single packs. What i find amazing is that the boots even look great in colours like purple or yellow. Its also surprising to how many different outfits they fit (i used the boots for some blogentries).

Somapop and Diapop

I first heared of somapop and diapop when i was a noob, who had found the way to the flickr freebie groups. They had a set of trousers for 1 Linden and i loved them for that. Later i found out that the store has wonderful and uniqe basics which are great for combinations. And that it belongs to two people wich causes also the two brandnames. Many of the items from Somapop are unisex items. For example the t-shirts and the jeans. Its great how they manage to make the clothes look like being 3d with just using the system layers.

At the diapop gatcha it is possible to get nice antlers in different colours. What i really like are the comfy sweaters. They have a knit texture. Of course those sweaters are not only systemlayer tops. The sleves and some other parts are made of prims. The texturing of the trousers is also well done. So they look like they are really worn. For me thats something which makes Somapop and Diapop unique. They manage to make basic clothes which could be combined with a lot of other things.

When having a look at the new Somapop branch on the nam3less sim i met Soma and Dianne together with one of their neighbours in their store. So i used the chance for a quick interview. (Soma and Dianne are the ones without claws)

Dagmar Haiku: Because of which reasons did you choose your storenames and are you using a branding concept?
Soma and Dianne: Tinker Hax from Amflify came up with the idea from somapop. Soma his sl name and pop because pop is POP! And Diapop is the female side from Somapop

Dagmar Haiku: Many stores closed lately. What do you think about that development. Do you think only big brands have a chance in second life or do you think that smaller labels have a bigger success?
Soma and Dianne: We are not so busy with other shops, sure we love to shop here in sl but we like to find new small shops or new japanese shops, they are so talentend. And we think it's a pitty when people who worked hard for it have to close their shops, thats a shame. But we have no idea why shops are closing, private matters maybe? Or too much rent? Dagmar Haiku: How do you get the ideas for the outfits you build? Do you just create what you personally would like to wear in second life? Or are you trying to be trendy?
Dianne Peccable: We just build what we like to wear personally here...or what a friend wants from us ... we dont care about trends.. not even in rl...if Soma likes to wear/build a big pink fluffy hat... he'll do;)

Dagmar Haiku: You also work Dj from time to time. What was your favourite band when you have been 14 and whats your current favourite band?
Soma Mayo: as i was 14 my fav band was kiss and ramones and nothing else....today still the ramones and so much more...from pop, to hardcorepunk

Somapop and Diapop take part in the creators pavilion Summer sale at the moment. So thats a chance to test the quality of their outfits without paying much. The yellow panda shirt always makes me smile somehow that panda looks very friendly. The harem trousers are from diapop and have laces at the side. The sheer shirt could either be worn with a bra under it or when being in private also without.

Searching roses

Today the rosehunt is starting. There are only 33 stores in the hunt and the hunt item is a rose (everything else would have been a bit strange, although it would be funny if you would have to search for a buttercup or an other flower).

Luxory Hunt 2 starting

Hide and Seek

Today i played hide and seek with my friend T-rexie. He tried to hide behind a building but i found him. I tried to tickle him and then i ran away because it was his turn to find me.
I hid on a store sign. And hoped that he wouldn`t find me there as he has the habbit to eat my shoes after having found me.
But then i looked closer at the shell next to me. And then i looked into it and found some nice clothes in it. I even found some more shells and some more gifts.

Somapop and Diapop opened a new satelite store on a cute beach sim. Its a complete new sim and there are some more stores on it. For the opening they have a hunt there. You search for shells. Some are hidden in the stores and some are just somewhere on the sim. The gifts are great.

For this blog i also used some stuff from the hunt at Club industrial for example the manga, the skin and the bracelets.
The T-Rex was on the midnight mania board at Neon Frog studios. I pestered poor Diana to slap the board and to place it on the sim to surprise Soma.

Party hangover

Sitting tired in an egg chair nibbling at it from time to time to get rid of the hangover. But it does not really work. I even felt so bad that i needed to change my shirt. Luckily i had a fresh one.
After some more hours of sleep i grabbed a t-shirt and went to the park to play football with my friends (after asking the octopus if im going to win of course).
The egg chair is comfy, well made and has only 3 prims, well it wouldn t be well made if it would have 30 prims. It comes from cogoo a cool store in the wastelands. Somehow the owners of that store like having their shops in cool places they also have a branch in little china which belongs to the city of lost angels sims.
The longsleeve shirts and the shorts are from the new basics collection from 22769. The shorts have been available in green at the alphabet soup market but as that has been a limited offer and they looked so nice they are going to release them in some more colours. I hope they will do black ones too. The shirt comes as always on all layers.
The last shirt is something mainly germans might like as it is a Günter Netzer shirt. Its a gift from somapop and diapop to the end of the go4goal hunt and available in the sportshuntgroupmessages.
