Black Circus

Nada was training for the big show. She was the only fairy in the black circus. First she had been afraid as she thought the others would have just offered her to join them because they planed to eat her. But they really seemed to like her and she found out that all of them prefered human flesh to fairy blood. So in all villages they went through one or two humans were missing after they left. Nada did not care she wanted to perform and the black circus was the best place to perform she had. She was a dancer and an acrobat. And she loved to show her abilities. After her the werewolves performed. Their show looked like a wolf dressage to the audience but Nada knew that the wolves were the nice guys who sometimes carried her bag when it was very heavy. She saw them argueing who would be one of the wolfs and who would be the animal trainer every evening. Of course the audience had no idea about the true nature of all the artists of the black circus they simply loved their shows. The artists loved their flesh.

Evie's closet takes part in the molto sisters hunt. Their huntgift is a supercute strawberry like fairy dress. The skirt looks like it would have some leaves while the top has some asymetric ruffles. It is called momo's playground and although it has no doors or stairs it is just awesome. The ground looks like being made of black carpet. Waiting in the garden

She hadn't planed to wait. But she had supposed that she would have to. At least the garden where they let her wait looked nicely. She avoided to touch any of the flowers. It was always strange when she went to her boyfriend to pick him up to go out. His parents were so odd. She did not know if they supposed that she would try to take advantage of him or if they simply did not like her. The truth was way different. Keith her boyfriend was an alien. He had some problems to make sure to look always the same when meeting her. So he and his parents needed ages to compare a picture they took of him and her with his current look. Sometimes he needed to change his haircolour back to brown after his hair did become green after he tried to communicate with some grass, at other days his lips were brown as he had spend time with kissing trees. She would not have cared as she really liked him. But the aliens supposed that humans might be a bit shallow.

22769 takes again part at the gallery giftshop event. Its a mix of a gallery and a shop. So that you could see some amazing art and buy great clothes at the same time. For this cycle of the gallery gift shop 22769 created an outfit for guys and one for girls which go well together. On the picture you could see the outfit for females. Its a short skirt with several layers and a short cape with fitting top. It is possible to adjust and mod the primparts. I like the cape with the houndstooth pattern very much. It goes well with other outfits as well for example the top and the cape also look great with simple elegant trousers. It also could be used to make a casual outfit a bit more elegant.

With the Whales

She was standing in her garden. It made her sad that she had to leave. And it made her insecure. Where would she live? What would happen to the whales she used to watch while sitting on the dock? Everything was so unpredictable.

22769 just released their latest groupgift. It is very summery. The outfit consists of shorts with a tanktop and a open blue shirt. The tanktop could be worn of course also without the shirt and of course it comes in a version for guys and one for girls. The tattoo on the leg is a gift from actchio. It comes on the tattoo, the undies and the trousers layer. The skin is on the midnight mania board at Galaxy Rise. This is a new store for skins, makeup and eyes. They also have some groupgifts there and four lucky boards.

Clover Knight

Santaria was a knight or more a knight of heart. She always wore great jackets which looked like a uniform and of course her boots fitted to that look. So one day she decided to explore a castle.
She normaly did not wear weapons but at this day she found a big cloverleaf and she decided to use it as shield. But then she heared strange sounds and she started to sneak through the building searching for the source.

When she found out what caused those strange sounds she was more than glad about her "shield". It had started to rain and the cloverleaf was a good umbrella.

The outfit for this picture is a mix of some of my favourite designers and some of them are even friends. No Strings Attached is definitly one of my favourite pose stores. Milli the owner is very creative and the cloverleaf is just one of her brilliant props. It has many inbuilt poses and might be great for pictures with fairys as well. I like it alot that it is only needed to touch the leaf to change the pose and that it is not needed to wear a different version of the prop for every pose.
The Jacket and the makeup are new from a:s:s. Fauna blogged allready the pink version of the Jacket and it looked fab on her. I liked the red one a lot. It is comfy to resize and comes in a version for guys and girls. In the set are both versions included so if you shift your gender from time to time the jacket still fits. The jacket is available in many colours. Its the same with the makeup.
22769 made the jeans. They are kind of lowrise I would say and also available in many colours. The set includes also sculpted prims for the lower legs. But with the boots they look better skintight.
I love those boots from Perse luckily they are available in many many colours so its easy to find a fitting pair.

The conspiracy

When they met they were allready in a hurry. They were a strange group. A neko, an elf, an android and the one who looked human was a dragon in disguise. She seemed to be the weakest but she was the leader and her demanding needs were the reason for their meeting. The dragon only wanted two things and she did everything to get those things. Manipulating, stealing and if it was needed she also begged. She even founded that group with her three helpers. It was not really clear why they helped her. Maybe because they always had a good laugh when they told her fantastic stories about how they got the cookies she wanted so much. The truth was the three nondragons had visited a bakeing course together and while one distracted the dragon the other two made cookies and invented a good story for her.

Milli, the owner of no strings attached is back in second life and creative as always. So she made this pose for four. Its a four for one pose for the picture I unlinked the poseballs and moved them so that the hands fitted then linked them again. That was pretty easy.
The outfits being used for this picture mainly are created by 22769. Manuel - the neko - wears the open baggy pants outfit. It is as the outfit Paco - the elf - wears in the jaunty sale. A 49$ sale for dudes which is currently going on. The open baggy pants come with a smily bulge and the shirt on all layers. The dropped pants outfit paco wears comes with a sweater which is bound around the hips. The boxers have also a bulge and the pants are sculpted. The dragon wears an outfit from 22769 which is sold in the locker room. Its called lush in leather and comes with a top and leatherpants in a jeans cut. Also included in the set is a leatherjacket. L1L4 the blue haired android wears the sadness coat from davinel.

The Jaunty sale ended yesterday but as the owners of 22769 on vacations this weekend the items might be still sold for that price.

The Albero Kawaii hunt started today. In this hunt you search for 16 tree stumps. At the startpoint you get a hud and with every tree you find you could see more of a picture. When having found all trees you could teleport to the participating stores and grab the hunt gifts. There are not only japanese stores on Albero. For example No Strings Attached has a shop there and also Duh! sells shoes at this place. The prices are pretty cute. The cuphat comes from Ingenue. The dress is the gift from mocha and the shoes are the gift from Duh. The pale skin comes in a version with and one without freckles.

Black and white patterns

Sometimes its nice to wear a hat. Normaly hair with hat does not suit my avatar at all. But this one which belongs to an outfit from KWZ is great. The set comes with the hair in blond and in black. I prefer it in black as i normaly always use black hair. For the combination i used this very colourful and special skin from the Dimbula Rose Lucky board. It makes the look even more special in my opinion. And as the outfit is just black and white it could use some colour and also bear the colour. A combination of a red dress and this skin would not work for example.

The outfit itself is completly black and white. It was sold on the clothing fair last year and is now available in the new KWZ store on the blue bird sim. It is an oriental version of the Juliana dresses. I blogged the other versions ages ago.

In my opinion its always tricky to find fitting shoes to outfits like this. The outfit itself is so frilly and stunning that it should be combined with shoes which are more classical. The Pursay Boots in black and grey from Perse fit quite well into this. They are classical and modern as the rest of the outfit. And the outfit is classical in some parts. The collar is just like the collar of a shirt somebody could wear at work. The hat seems to be a modern version of a hat a shepherdess might have worn. And i would also not call the used patterns modern. But because of the used combinations its a more modern outfit.

This set contains, different than the other Juliana Dresses, also a long skirt. It it has similar patterns at the top on the bottom. But the mix of playfull flowers and strict geometrical patterns has also been used in it. The rat on the upper arm does not belong to the dress. It is from the a friend like ben poses from No Strings attached (i only used poses from this store for this blog entry). I really like this dress a lot. KWZ has also some freebies in the store which are great as well so its worth to spend some time on visiting the store.

For those who like chocolate and for those who may not eat it

Valentines day is a good day for chocolate. Well every day is a good day for chocolate but at valentines day most people may eat as much chocolate as they are able to. But even at that day some do not want to share. ESSENTIAL SOUL shares some strawberries with chocolate and a cute couple pose about wanting to have those strawberries. Others like chocolate so much that they make whole dresses out of it. Well they also add some pink. This dress is a gift from dimbula rose. Its very cute and very tasty. Its only annoying that you need to slap people who nibble at the skirt all the time. But else it would not be possible to move. The uses pose comes from a new set from Just A Pose. The poses are named Simply Hippy and well are poses which deal with the hips.

Others may not eat chocolate. For example ballerinas. But in exchange they may wear a nice tutu. This outfit is currently on the midnight mania at Libertine. Dancing Goddess

Today she used let others call her Marie Rozier. Her colleagues at the french cabaret thought all that she would need everyday two hours to put the golden colour on her skin. Secretly they all hoped she would thell them how she managed to put the colour so even on her skin. Marie wasn't able to give any makeup advise. She didn't even have a real skin. Centuries ago she had been turned into a half - goddess. Her task was to watch over the forest, to change the weather lightly so that all plant would grow and her former tribe would prosper.
The transforming was more than painful. And indeed her humanbody died while she was put into liquid gold which floated into every pore of her skin. Marie had not been forced to do this but she had been tricked. The priests told her that she would become as mighty as a normal god and would also live in their plane. It was true that she could reach the plane of the gods of her people but being there hurt even more than the ritual she beared.
Her first act as new born goddess was to kill the priests. That made her feel a bit better but it didn't help the people she had belonged to.
First she avoided helping the forest. She spend time on wandering and bathing and swimming. Her body was heavy but she was a bit like a golem made of gold without the annoying sides of being a golem. She had no master and also no need to carry paper in her mouth.
Soon she wasn't able not to help. She helped a tree grow. Moved a cloud a bit closer and found out that she was able to talk with all the animals. She liked talking with birds best.
They told her everything she needed to know. If hunters broke her laws, if somewhere was an ill animal who needed a quick death the birds knew it and told it to her.
When dancing on the pole being watched by men, she would have killed when being on the top of her power she felt envy on the priests she had killed so long time ago. That was the real curse of being a half goddesss. She was not able to die, although the time she was needed was long ago.
The golden skins belong to the IRRADIATE Skins from Fallen Gods inc. As the electric ones they are available in 10 colours. Those skins reminded me on Inca and all their painful rituals and their gold and on the jungle. But as seen the skin works also for a dancer. Or for a character i could not even think of. The skins are great, they look even better with the glow attachments and its fun to wear them. The pictures have been taken on the grendels children sim, its a very pretty place its only a bit annoying that people shoot all the time on you.
The leaf lingerie comes from a store for mainly fantasy clothing (and lingerie) named Chaospire. The set is rather well textured. It is no copy but trans so its maybe even a nice late gift for christmas as the store is having a 50% sale till end of December.

Ice skating

Spending some time with iceskating. But as being really brilliant in it and a even better in bragging about it nobody wanted to come with me. So having to skate all alone. At least that means that nobody could disturb me.
The wonderful purple iceskating dress is a lucky board item from evie's closet. As a decent iceskating dress it is very short. The dress could be worn either with stockings or without and has the option to wear it with long sleeves. The name of the dress is Elizabeth, which reminds me on an other Oubliette Girl - Elizabeth Tinsley, the owner of Frippery - who created fitting jewlery to the Elizabeth dresses. The Jewlery is available in silver and in gold as i like silver much more than gold here a picture of the silver version. The set includes earrings, a necklace and a wristlet.

Hard to choose

No Strings Attached takes part in the taste of SL again. This weekend the theme was favourite Things. So instead of putting her favourite out for sale, NSA sells a 200 Linden giftcard for only 100 Linden. So it was really hard to decide what to buy. But i always wanted to have this cute couple pose. So i used my chance and bought it. Its called "and so they lived" and perfect for reading stories.

Turkey funeral

It was the same every Thanksgiving. The last turkeydrumstick somehow disappeared. It was always the one he planed to eat last because supposing it would be the best part of the whole turkey. But he never found it when he wanted to eat it. He didn t suppose that his partner ate it. She was a vegetarian for years and always a bit angry when he insisted on having a turkey at thanksgiving. She even seemed to bury birds which didn t manage to go on their journey to south in the garden. He had seen the little graves but never actually seen one of her bird funerals. But when seeing her with the turkeydrumstick he suddenly had an idea about the birds she burried around Thanksgiving.The Wasn't me pose comes from No Strings Attached. Its a funny thanksgiving pose. Of course its made for people who want to eat the last turkeydrumstick themself those who plan to give the turkey a decent funeral are only allowed to use it.

Waiting for snow

Two girls had spend now two weeks on waiting for snow. But somehow there isn't one little snowflake seeable. So after a long snowball fight in the cellar (they used the ice from the freezer) they decided to train for winter. In the cellar they also found their old sledge which seemed to be perfect for some wintertraining. Soon they recognized that pulling a sledge over grass is hard work. It was time to train falling from the sledge. It worked allready well.
At the end they looked rather tired and their clothes had become very dirty because of all the falling from the sledge. So they just spend some time with sitting on the sledge and having a talk (bigtalking about future snowmans and snowball fight tactics).
No Strings attached take part in the Hunt. For that Milli created a lovely sledge which could be used by two persons and fitting winter things like gloves, cute hats and scarf and winterboots. The items are all wellmade (she is only able to create great things). The facetattoo with the frostbite is an A:S:S groupgift. And its great. I love how it changes the look of the avatar into a freezing beeing which needs a cup of hot milk as soon as possible. The pasties are contained in a freebie outfit from Dr. Wraithwire. Winter and Fall

Standing in the snow in a warm kimono and pretending not to watch the artic hare. The kimono is one of the new tomoto lucky chair items. Its warm and fits well to christmas. And of course wearing it makes you look a bit like a gift.Kimono: tomoto, noel2010_LB (0 Linden Lucky board)

Treasures

Emily Merrowind was a pirate by birth and a captain by adoption. She loved to sail, to fight and to drink. Normaly she spend her time on deck with watching the sea and playing with the anchor at her belt. The anchor was her lucky charm as it was the anchor of the fist ship she boarded alone. She did that in the age of 8. But well that might be only a cock and bull story. Emily knew nearly every secret of the sea but she didn t know why she was tattooed all over. She only remembered the pain from beeing tattooed but her second father never spoke about her real parents so she also didn t ask. But then they sailed to that area where she had never been before and somehow she recognized that the knots in her tattoos as islands around her. Emily went to her cabin and spend some time on examing every inch of her skin. She realized that her skin had been turned into a treasure map.
Later in the evening when her crew was sleeping she jumped through the bull's-eye into the water and swam to the island, she supposed the treasure had been hidden on it. She only took her knive, some clothes she had found on a ship she boarded and a lamp with herself (she put those things on a little raft). At the shore she exchanged her clothes and was embarrassed. She had forgotten to spend time on having a look as the clothes and so she had choosen a very pretty golden dress with butterfly wings for her adventure. Hoping that nobody would identify her with open hair she made her way into a tunnel.
Luckily she had her magical eyebrows. The tunnel was very dark and the light of the latern didn't help much. But the eyebrows helped a lot. Wearing them she was able to see much in the darkness.
After a while she heared the sound of water. But not the sound of brine. It was the sound of fresh water. And in the water she found the treasure. Big blue jewels hidden perfectly under the water surface. Emily picked one of them and made her way back to her boat. At the next day she went back with her crew and they all became very very rich. Emily used her asset to buy a nice title. She became Duchess Stellamaris and spend her time on causing scandals, drinking and becoming the most famous rose-cultivator in the whole known world.
Its the magic of oz Anniversary and because of that a hunt is taking place. Three of the Oubliette girls are taking part in this hunt. Elizabeth from Frippery made the great eyebrows with the cute pumpkins, the golden dress with the wings is the gift from Evie's Closet and Milli, the creative mind behind No Strings Attached made the Latern which could be used with a pose or with the ao. The belt with the anchor is the latest item from [COGOO] it is resizeable so it fits smaller avatars as well as wild and strong pirate captains with a huge belly. The celtic tattoo is the gift from Fallen God Inc. in the Celtic Magic Hunt. The only negative thing you could say about it is that it doesn t look great if you wear all the included layers at once ;-).

Jasmine and Rose

Ambrosia is a cute japanese store - well somehow most japanese stores are rather cute - and the store name always reminds me on a song by Clan of Xymox. The song has the title Jasmine and Rose and the singer sings "Dream of ambrosia ...". Ambrosia moved to an other sim. When takin a look i won a brown dress with flower pattern with fitting stockings.

Mutation

x62ppq worked since the moment she had been activated in section BB2QR. That means she was busy to control that no natural life made its way in the forbidden sector. But one day she was inspecting some old cellars, which looked like having been build by the extincted race of the creators, and fell into something green and slimy. When waking again she felt strange and she was shocked about seeing herself mirrored in the dirty water. Her face didn t consist of shiny metal anymore somehow she turned green. When realising that she felt shocked she was even more shocked. At least her parser was still working so she was able to communicate with the strange little furry android she met. Its logic was so ineffective. But she supposed that it was a real old model.
x62ppq hoped that the rat might be able to help her. At least it would be logical that it was in those cellars to repair and controll them so it also should be able to repair her. But the rat only spoke about mutation and a distant cousin with the name Algernon. It also recommented to controll how far the mutation went.
So x62ppq took off the upper part of her uniform to take a look at herself. When realizing that going back would mean deactivation she decided to flee.
Fallen Gods have skins again on the fortune teller. This time its a green skin fitting to halloween. They also got a lucky dip where you could win tattoos which look like being made of a very different skin than your own. Of course the items are very well made - they are from fallen gods - and are great for roleplay. The uniform will be the male gift from 22769 in the silkroad hunt. I love the patterns. Of course the clothing is made more with having asia in mind but me it also reminded on a futuristic uniform so i used it in this blog entry. The gifts from fallen goods will be available until halloween is over and the silkroad hunt will start at 1. November. The poses with the rat are all from No Strings Attached. Hidden talents

Edita was a special elf. Her ears looked like somebody pulled on them for hours and her hair. Just not like elf hair. It even looked greasy. But the worst was her behaviour. She wanted to be a fae. Of course she didn't look at all like one of those elegant and beautiful beings. She was dirty, her skin was so rotten that it needed to be stitched from time to time. And she drank. She drank much. But one day she was allready drunk when walking to the distillery. So by mistake she tool the wrong way and ended up in the forge. It was empty as the blacksmith had fallen for a centaur he shoed - but thats an other story. So Edita made her way into the forge.
She had to test all the materials the blacksmith left behind. And she was really surprised about her talent.
First she made herself a pair of wings. It was a mix of cloth and metal and it looked great. She also managed to build fitting jewlery. Edita wasn t the only one who liked her creations. A lot of people came and bought her wings and her jewlery.
So soon she was a rich woman. She bought new clothes. And new hair. And one day she met a magician in the distillery.
It wasn't cheap and it hurt a lot but after a week she had real wings.
Elizabeth Tinsley of Frippery and Cane Sutter of Skinthesis are not only great designers well they are great designers but that means that they are also rather creative. So they had the idea of creating a fairy set which fits to the season. So Frankenfae was born. They invited their friends to take part in the creation of Frankenfairy. So Evie's Closet created a cute a bit torn fairy dress, Angelwings came up with a funny green dress with lots of patches and Milli from No Strings Attached build some great poses (she always builds great poses) which fit perfectly to the theme. Combining those items with the metal wings from Frippery and the skin and the hair from Skinthesis its a great mix for a spooky looking fairy avatar. Its possible to buy the single parts so you could build up your own Franken Fairy.
