Black sun

The sun was high on the sky when she reached the builds. It was the weekend of the year when they would honor those who had died before them. The path had been long. So she was wearing comfy boots. Now that she had arrived she recognized that she must be one of the first. Later the area would be filled with people. All dressed in black. Elegant but silent.

It is Relay for Life weekend. For this last big relay for life in second life event this year many creators set up amazing builds. The one the pictures have been taken at is "The Dancing Sun" by Alia Baroque - who is not only the owner and creator of Fallen Gods Inc. but also supporting Relay for Life for years. The built will be only seeable this weekend which makes it even more special.
The dress on the picture comes from tomoto. I like how it looks elegant but still playful because of the frills.
The troy boots from Muism have been blogged before but they also work on females as they have a resize script. They are a gift in the make him over hunt which ends today.

For Flowers

The path had been but finally she had gotten what she yearned for. She was one of the bright ones. And normaly she should have been dedicated to serving the sun, singing to the moon and counting stars. A calm life with some fights now and then about who might be the best. But a life which was too boring for her . She wanted more than spending all her time on reaching something which allready had been planed.

First she had been pondering about trying to become one of the fire priests. Flames were something she could handle but having to learn 261 names for fire was something she didn't interest at all so she left those. Then she tried the water cult. They taught her how to dive for hours so that her skin started to absorb the air she needed from the water. It was not bad but having been so attached to the sun for a long time it was something she missed to much in the deepths of the oceans. Finally she decided to test the group which cared for plants. And it was like it was what she had been training to do all the time. She knew how to deal with the celestials so that she knew how to get the right light for the plants. The teachings of the fire priests allowed to make sure that the right amount of warmth was provided. And the knowledge about water helped her to provide the right water. Finally she had something which was interesting and versatile. It was the first time that she really liked what she did and had the feeling that it was something which was needed. So she kept doing it and soon she received the gautlets which were the sign that she was an official member of the plant cult. Currently two events are running which are cute and lovely. In Booshtopia and some other sims something called "Flori & the Nectubloom Rising". It is a quest in which you have to help Flori the Flora deity of Booshtopia to fertilize the Nectublooms so that they start blooming and some booshies can drink their nectar. After receiving some informations and a hud from Flori you start to search for those flowers and with the help of the hud you give them the fertilizer. It is a cute idea and the gift you get at the end is just lovely.It is a pair of gauntlets with leaves on the top and a gem. After the booshies are released the people who did the quest will also have a special flora item for their booshies. The gauntlets are no copy but transfer. It is possible to mod them. The dress and the poses come from the other event Chic's 2nd birthday. The poses have been created by Mavi Beck. She is not only one of second life's best models but also a storemanager for Miamai and also the one behind Miamai poses. This set is called the time is now.
Tomoto also takes part in this event. They made a very cute dress which is available in four colours. This one is the the white version. It is possible to edit the prim parts so that they fit. The dress itself creates a dreamy look.
The horns from ni.Ju first were sold at the fantasy faire. Now they  are also available in their store. At the fantasy faire ni.Ju had their stall in Nu Orne. The buildings which have been used to create this sim are now available at Cerridwen's Cauldron. Elicio Ember's store who also built Nu Orne. It is possible to see them on a plattform which can reached with the help of teleport pads.

At the sea

The barbee sale is kind of mean as there are so many great stores in it and so many things to buy. But they are pretty cheap so it is not that mean. This dress is one of the items from Tomoto. It is short and has some ruffles. I like the way the designer used net lace. It is placed over and under the skirt and also over the cuffs. The outfit looks a bit more playful on this way. The skirt looks like having kind of a underskirt with golden sparkles in the lace. I resized the upper and the lower part of the skirt a bit. It comes without resizescript but it is easy to stretch it down (i guess stretch is the wrong word).

Winter and Fall

Standing in the snow in a warm kimono and pretending not to watch the artic hare. The kimono is one of the new tomoto lucky chair items. Its warm and fits well to christmas. And of course wearing it makes you look a bit like a gift.Kimono: tomoto, noel2010_LB (0 Linden Lucky board)

Spending time in summer flower fields but then falling over a stone and being caught in fall. The pose is the gift from No Strings Attached in the for the love of fall hunt. The short dress is one of the gifts from the Magic of Ozz Hunt.

Little dog gone bad

Jumping through the garden to train to catch a little nasty and fast dog at the roman sim. The Otukimi hunt started today on the Roman sim. You hunt for a little dog. The items are hidden on tricky places but its do able. Some great stores take part in the hunt. Like Tomoto, likka house, Lika Ruby or 129*129. So here some hunt items:

Look of the day

The look what the cat brought bloggers love fashion - else they wouldn't write about it. But what do they wear when shopping or meeting friends? To answer that question we decided to start a series of postings here named "Look of the day". In the entries the bloggers will present their favourite outfits.

So i have the honor to start the series. I combined a tattoo from actchio (will be in the for the love of science hunt starting at 22th August) with a short dress from tomoto, boots from perse and tights which are also from actchio.

Yay Tomoto groupgift

Jumping around nearly shocked because of the new tomoto groupgift. The group has now around 500 member so tomo decided to give out this great gift to the groupmembers.
It is hidden in the new store but very easy to find. Its cute as everything from tomoto. But i suppose it looks better on a less pale skin. It comes with modifiable prim parts so its possible to make the dress fit very large or very small avis.

New tomoto mainstore

Standing in the new café tomoto and trying to breath. Its under water so this isn`t an easy task. The flats are the opening gift from the new main store. The old store in symmetry will close soon. So if you don`t have the lucky board prize from there hurry to get it.

The new store is quite nice. And there is a new dress sold there. Its named Barbara and available in six colours. Those two girls bought the blanc and the rose version.

Tomoto at the fantasy faire

When i read first, that tomoto is taking part at the fantasy faire i was quite surprised. I never thought of tomoto as a fantasy store. But then i saw that the tomoto stall is at the Wings Wands Wonders Sim and there it fits well as every fae looks good in a dress from tomoto.

So when i wore the donation items from tomoto i got into trouble. Butterflys came and
had a seat on me. They haven t been intrested in the golden apples i wore on a necklace they wanted my nose.
I threw away one of the skirts of the dress but the butterfly still stayed on my nose and tickled me.
So i put it on my finger and had a decent talk with it.
This is a picture of the texture of the top of the dress. I love this pattern The necklace is a groupgift from tomoto.
So here the dresses, the purple one 'ange fascinant' is only sold at the fair. The dresses come both with a feathery headdress and are resizeable.

Spring time

The Tomoto store has been rebuilt and there is also a new item on the lucky board there. Its green yay. The dress is not flexi so sometimes the legs are visible. But on the other side its perfect to present cute undies. I like the texture as i suppose i haven t seen something like that in sl.

Flowers in the hair

Spring is in the air so even Second Life becomes more colourful at the moment.

I just did get the information that Prim & Pixel Paradise have a new pick reward. This outfit has uncountable combination options, short trousers, long trousers, thight short trousers with jacket without jacket and so on. It even comes with shoes but i prefered to combine it with black flats from Ingenue. If you go to Ingenue please slap the midnight mania board. At the moment they have those flat in an other colour on it.

Tomoto has a new lucky board item. A orange kimono. Its very pretty as all stuff from that shop. I won the butterfly at -RC- on the lucky chair. Its very well usable in roleplay. The butterfly sits on the hands of its owner and could be released with a gesture.

Hunting at the Starlust

I have to admit, the Starlust hunt annoyed me. I needed ages to find the hearts which have been hidden all over the starlust sims. But it was worth to do the hunt. It starts at the Starlust Motel Here are some of the gifts. As you get a notecard with landmarks after having finished the hunt i won't add any slurls to the items from the Starlust hunt.
