Sailorgirl

The wind was exactly like it should be. The perfect weather for sailing. It would be one of the days Violeta really would enjoy. And one of the days where she could show that a love for highheels, pretty bags and elegant dresses were nothing which kept one from being successful in a sport mainly men loved. It made her giggle when they asked her for her secrets. But of course she pretended to have none at all. A woman maybe would have recognized her trick but men were not able to do so. At least most of them. One of them had but Violeta was aware of her beauty and he wasn't able to resist her. Maybe it had been a bit much to marry him to keep him quiet but besides being a decent sailor he was also a good cook, and Violeta was a woman who loved good food as much as sport. At least that was what she told others as reason but her husband knew that she loved talking with him and a man who would not have been very attentive would not have managed to figure out her secret.

It was a secret which wasn't hard to figure out. Violeta always wore the same hairbow when going sailing. It was so useful. The bands helped her to figure out the direction and strength of the wind so she could sail without having to look at any technical instruments. And the little time she saved with that was allready helpful enough. And of course the fact that her male opponents reacted irrational as soon as they started to realize that Violeta was beating them again. An other benefit she had was the fact that she normaly always wore high heels. Only not when she was sailing, but being used to walk on the tips of her feet she was able to feel the movements of the ship very well. It amused her that only her husband had figured out that she was always wearing the same bow. But he soon started to help her to find bows like hers in different colours. He was proud on his wife and did not want that anybody could find out her secret.

The Invidia skinline is one of the latest releases from Mirror's Enigma. The skin is available in three skintones and several makeups. I liked the seven sins themed Envy bundle best. It contains five makeups and each of those in four versions (with hairbase, with cleavage, with hairbaise and cleavage and pure). The bundle contains also three shapes which have been made for the skin, two curvy ones in a smaller and a taller version and a special one which has also been used for the pictures. The eyes used in the pictures also belong to the skinbundle. The skins are great for a elegant look even with the massive eyeliner of the envy bundle. And its a warm elegance not a cold one. In combination with the shape they also go well for a sportive look.

Lika Ruby is an awesome store when it comes to colourful and elegant asian dresses. The mika dresses are their first meshdresses. They are currently available in six colours - there is also one in the store as groupgift but that one isn't on the picture - and also in packs which contain three colours. The dress packs contain the dress in six sizes (xxs, xs, s, m, l, ll). The mesh is of course very wellmade. The dress itself is a halterless tight dress which is a bit shorter than tealength. Around the hips it has a big belt with a big pattern on it.The frills on the bottom of the dress are very pretty and make the whole design unique. The textures itself are great. Its impressive how the designer added all those realistic wrinkles. The blue dress amazes is especially amazing. The colour is so intense.
Details are often the icing of the candy and so the latest release from 22769 is important for the whole outfit. Its a clutchpurse made of mesh. It is available in several colours. As the dresses are all very colourful the clutch choosen to go with them has a zebra pattern. The hair used is all meshhair from Wasabi Pills. Its often very playful but cute and elegant hair. Colours and Flowers

Since she got the dress Lisa's world slowly became colourful again. It was a gift from her siblings who hoped that it would make her smile at least for a minute. For a long time it had been black. Then it was black and white for some time. Now it was gaining some tones between those colours. At some days she even saw a golden flower or a blue bird. Lisa loved the dress it felt great on her skin and she knew that she would only be able to see how beautiful it really was when she would be able to see all colours again.

Lika Ruby is one of the stores which make wonderful textures and are able to create those dresses which make every woman look attractive on the elegant way. The Lika Ruby mainstore just moved to the rebuild KDC sim. To celebrate the new mainstore they released a new groupgift. Its an asymetric dress with a flower pattern on the top while the lower part is gold green. The top is held up by two scarf-like bands which are knoted together in the back of the neck. The skirt has a sheer lace layer over a nonsheer layer. The dress is a great gift and a wonderful opportunity to get an idea about the quality of the items from Lika Ruby.

Chinese hearts

Its Valentines day and Lika Ruby has a new groupgift. Its a chinese dress in brown and gold. On the skirt is a big read heart. As everything from this store its a very elegant dress. The brown fits perfectly to the red of the heart and of course to the gold. The collar has golden and red decorations. Jewellery for the Elite

Two weeks ago A:S:S released really great jewellery (i even learned to spell jewellery because of that. Sorry i have spelled it all the time wrong). Its accessoiry which is a bit darker. But extremly well made and pretty.

The butterfly necklace is not symetric what i normaly would dislike. But its tricky to controll butterflys somehow they are unwilling to learn to sit in a symetric way. To make it short i like it. Necklace: A:S:S deLuxe - Le Papillion Noir, female (115$)

The big black disks of this necklace fit well to a simple dress. If they would be less elegant they would easily remind on the 70ties but they do not. Which is a good thing in my opinion. There are fitting earrings available. By the way the hair on that picture is a gift from a lucky board. I have been in the store some days ago and its still possible to win it.

This necklace is my favourite piece of the a:s:s deluxe collection. It is dark, elegant and hurts. Being tucked into the skin and not wrapped around the neck it forces the one who wears it to bleed a bit. But its just worth the pain. The blood for the skin comes on all layers and the necklace has as all the others a resizescript. I love the picture on the gems.

The asian fleur

Lika Ruby has designed a new kind of dress. It looks like the skirt would be a very big and very pretty flower which is even knitted. The dress is worn with lace under it and comes with lovely tights which have the same pattern as the cloth which covers the arms and the upper part of the chest. Most lovely is the collar which repeats the flower theme with a flower on the side of it. The pink version of the dress is currently on the lika ruby lucky board. Asian Dresses

When it comes to asian dresses i like the ones from Lika Ruby best. She uses unique textures, unique cuts and unique combinations of colours. So i just love the new asian dresses from that store. They come with a collar and a lace top. The skirt also looks like having lace under it. The dress is available in nine colours. The blue one is combined with a light yellow. The golden lace over both goes well with that.

Normaly i m not that big fan of white dresses. But from all of those asian dresses i like the white one best. It looks great with the red and the gold. Its just an awesome and very elegant combination.

The combination of the colours of the red one is also very impressive. It works with red, gold and black. Normaly that would remind on the german flag but it doesn t at all.

The pink one is combined with tones of purple. The lace is also a bit more purple. On this picture the lovely cut of the dress is seeable very well.

The green one come in colours i d call earth tones. The top looks kind of brown which goes well with the green and the pink of the skirt.

The black one is just combined with yellow. It looks impressive in my opinion. I was wearing the dress while sitting in a bar at the sim where i took that picture and a guy told me that he loves the dress. So im sure that im not the only one who likes it.

After the Sale the Dresses will be sold for 500$ again. So its a good idea to hurry to Lika Ruby and to buy a dress. There are also fatpacks containing 3 dresses available. Purple, Blue and Jade are in the first fat pack, Black, White and Red in the second and Pink, Yellow and Green in the third. A fatpack is currently sold for 800 $ so i suppose they are also on sale at the moment.

New from Lika Ruby

Walking perfectly dressed through little china. The dresses are the latest release from Lika Ruby.
As all outfits from that store they look like a great mix between elegance and sexyness.
The colours they come in fit very well to the theme. And the collar and the sleeves are just cute.
Its amazing, that the skirt looks so great. That seems to be caused by the prim skirts which are made on a different way than primskirts from other stores which offer that kind of dress.
The dresses are available in six colours. And as they are the latest release the price for the dress is reduced at the moment. As seeable on the picture the skirt is really well made. Its mod so its possible to make the dress fit smaller avatars. The gloves are also a great idea. Worn with them the dress looks warmer and of course its also possible to wear the dress without the gloves.

Nem

Exploring an elegant city being more or less perfectly dressed for that. The sim where i took that picture is named Metropolitan Commonwealth of Nem. It reminds me on old comics and an anime i liked very much, Robotic Angel. Lika Ruby has opened a new mainstore. The brown dress with the flowerpattern and the chessbox pattern is the opening gift. Its amazing that it could look great to put flowers over such a chessbox pattern. It could be either worn very short or in a longer version. The collar comes in two versions either with buttons or without. The blue scarf is a groupgift from zeery. Zeery is a store which has some really great colourful items. Tops, Scarfs and stuff like that. Its worth to visit it.

Look of the day

I haven't made a look of the day post for ages. So here a current one. The most important part of the outfit are the socks in my opinion. They are unique with the little bugs and flowers. The dress comes from lika ruby and is worn on two layers. The jacket comes from mnk it could be worn with long, middle and short sleeves. And the cane with animations comes of course from CI. The blushing witch

Ignatiana was searching her cat. So she flew around searching. As modern witch she also used the chance to train some tricks like flying without using her hands and just making her broom fly like she wants with the preasure of her legs.
When hearing something she quickly went closer to the ground.
But seeing what her cat was doing made Ignatiana blush.
So she forced her broom on high speed and flew up high to cool down.
Halloween is near so here an other costume for the modern witch. The purple hat and the cape are a gift from lika ruby i got it in the KDC Mall. The orange shirt is on the Cknife Lucky board its at the same place as the witches hat. The trousers are in the current 22769 groupgift. They are full of blood. No Strings Attached managed something i didn t expect. The broom they created as donation item for the horrorfest contains poses which are really not like the average broomstick poses. The horrorfest will end at 31. 10. 2010 and supports the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

Little dog gone bad

Jumping through the garden to train to catch a little nasty and fast dog at the roman sim. The Otukimi hunt started today on the Roman sim. You hunt for a little dog. Winning at the KDC Mall

Looking a bit confused after a massive hair makeover i got in the KDC Mall. I do not speak any japanese but i suppose its a new opened japanese shopping mall. They got many lucky boards there and while i was stalking the lika ruby lucky board there i won some more thingies. I do not have landmarks to the single stores in the mall so i ll use the one at the lika ruby board. It was a bit tricky for me to manage to join the mall group (all the lucky boards in the store are set on that group) but you could join from my profile or you go to the entrance in the groundfloor there is also a groupinvation board. The blue top has many frills. I have to admit the combination with the trousers i choosed isn t the best but im sure it would look lovely to some capri trousers. The dress comes with fitting socks and has some lace over the shirt.

The trousers i used for the blue top fit much better to the black sweater. The trousers are either wearable in a normal way or you could wrap them up. They have been on the lucky board at VIS. The black sweater is a gift from the same store. Pants and sweater come with resizeable primparts.

And well i also have to admit i didn t manage to make the jeans fit perfectly but i could explain that. Today a dinosaur came into my photostudio and told me that he is a member of the style police and kept staring at me all the time. So i got quite nervous and while watching the dinosaur with one eye i wasn t able to make the flares of the jeans smaller.

Lucky @ Lika Ruby

Standing innocent with an hawk on my shoulder. This has a reason. The skirt is rather short and maybe people might try to look under it when i jump around.
With the long skirt this is less likely. But the hawk does not really like the jumping. So when i stoped it the top was a bit torn at the shoulder as the hawk digged his claws in the cloth of the top.

The hawk was a gift from a midnight mania board. It only has 3 prims. So its also possible to place the hawk in a tree or on a roof.

Happy Anniversary Lika Ruby

Its the first Anniversary of Lika Ruby. And because of that there is a gift for the groupmembers. Its a dress in the typical Lika Ruby design. The pattern made me grin as it reminds me on the bavarian flag. Although the blue is a bit too green for that.

Oh, no a Cat burglar has entered an appartment and is now stealing all the pretty and expensive things.

Lika Ruby China dresses

In one of my first blog entrys i wrote about the groupgift from Lika Ruby. At the clothing fair i felt for a fatpack of dresses from that store. They are very sophisticated. First you decide which underdress you want to wear. Then you pick a overdress which is a mesh. When combining over and underdress you get something new.
These are the underdresses. They got a pretty pattern and i like the colours. Its of course possible to wear those dresses without a mesh dress.
Here a picture of the overdresses. There is also a black one which i used for the first picture. Its of course also possible to wear those alone but you might like to wear some underwear under them.
