Sailorgirl

The wind was exactly like it should be. The perfect weather for sailing. It would be one of the days Violeta really would enjoy. And one of the days where she could show that a love for highheels, pretty bags and elegant dresses were nothing which kept one from being successful in a sport mainly men loved. It made her giggle when they asked her for her secrets. But of course she pretended to have none at all. A woman maybe would have recognized her trick but men were not able to do so. At least most of them. One of them had but Violeta was aware of her beauty and he wasn't able to resist her. Maybe it had been a bit much to marry him to keep him quiet but besides being a decent sailor he was also a good cook, and Violeta was a woman who loved good food as much as sport. At least that was what she told others as reason but her husband knew that she loved talking with him and a man who would not have been very attentive would not have managed to figure out her secret.

It was a secret which wasn't hard to figure out. Violeta always wore the same hairbow when going sailing. It was so useful. The bands helped her to figure out the direction and strength of the wind so she could sail without having to look at any technical instruments. And the little time she saved with that was allready helpful enough. And of course the fact that her male opponents reacted irrational as soon as they started to realize that Violeta was beating them again. An other benefit she had was the fact that she normaly always wore high heels. Only not when she was sailing, but being used to walk on the tips of her feet she was able to feel the movements of the ship very well. It amused her that only her husband had figured out that she was always wearing the same bow. But he soon started to help her to find bows like hers in different colours. He was proud on his wife and did not want that anybody could find out her secret.

The Invidia skinline is one of the latest releases from Mirror's Enigma. The skin is available in three skintones and several makeups. I liked the seven sins themed Envy bundle best. It contains five makeups and each of those in four versions (with hairbase, with cleavage, with hairbaise and cleavage and pure). The bundle contains also three shapes which have been made for the skin, two curvy ones in a smaller and a taller version and a special one which has also been used for the pictures. The eyes used in the pictures also belong to the skinbundle. The skins are great for a elegant look even with the massive eyeliner of the envy bundle. And its a warm elegance not a cold one. In combination with the shape they also go well for a sportive look.

Lika Ruby is an awesome store when it comes to colourful and elegant asian dresses. The mika dresses are their first meshdresses. They are currently available in six colours - there is also one in the store as groupgift but that one isn't on the picture - and also in packs which contain three colours. The dress packs contain the dress in six sizes (xxs, xs, s, m, l, ll). The mesh is of course very wellmade. The dress itself is a halterless tight dress which is a bit shorter than tealength. Around the hips it has a big belt with a big pattern on it.The frills on the bottom of the dress are very pretty and make the whole design unique. The textures itself are great. Its impressive how the designer added all those realistic wrinkles. The blue dress amazes is especially amazing. The colour is so intense.
Details are often the icing of the candy and so the latest release from 22769 is important for the whole outfit. Its a clutchpurse made of mesh. It is available in several colours. As the dresses are all very colourful the clutch choosen to go with them has a zebra pattern. The hair used is all meshhair from Wasabi Pills. Its often very playful but cute and elegant hair. The poses on the first two pictures come from Purple Poses, the ones on the 3rd an the 4th from Adorkable Poses.

It’s Not Easy, Bein’ Green

Fern O’Shaughnessy lived the quiet life of a wood pixie. From Spring to Autumn she took care of the mushrooms, the wild flowers, and – of course – the tufts of fern that were growing in her hidden cove among the green hills of Ireland. In Winter she curled up in a comfortable burrow and slept until the first ray of March sun tickled her nose. She was generally happy… yet something secretly gnawed on her soul. She knew there lived some creatures called „humans” not very far from her place… and a starling told her that „human” girls didn’t have green spots or mushrooms growing on their skins, and they wore „dresses” instead of fern blades. Then, one day, Fern O’Shaughnessy heard some noise from behind a bush.

 

The noise was made by a leprechaun… a funny green creature, like herself, thought Fern and chuckled. The leprechaun heard her and frowned: „Why are you giggling, you silly craythur? Do you think it’s easy, being green?” Then the leprechaun started chuckling, too. „No, you must know what it means… right, Fern? I know of your secret wish, by the way… and, as I’m in good mood today, I’m willing to grant you it…” – said he, and his chuckles slowly turned into a sinister cackle.

   

Poof! Gone were the mushrooms, the green spots, the skirt and blouse made of fern… and there stood a pretty Irish colleen, green-eyed and jet-haired, dressed up in a marvellous gown… with a silly green tophat firmly attached to her head. „So that you never ever forget that it’s not easy bein’ green!” – echoed the cackling voice of the leprechaun among those emerald Irish hills.

Future Hay

The smell of the gras was fantastic. It would be very good hay after being harvested. The mellaps would like it. The mellaps were mainly Sandra's invention. Not too many people knew about them and when somebody saw one by mistake they mostly thought that it would be an oversized sheep. Of course those thoughts were wrong. They were more undersized cows. Sandra loved milk but then she had to realize that she became allergic to it. First she tried several tricks. There were surely enough books about how to deal with that allergy. But all that helped only a bit. And she hated soymilk. She wanted the creamy taste which only got really satisfied by cowmilk in her opinion. Luckily she had a lot of knowledge about genetical engineering. First she tried to modify herself but this did not work very well. Of course she became able to deal with milk but somehow her toe- and fingernails- started to grow very much and somehow it also seemed like she was getting more hair on her skin. In a pretty pattern with white and black spots. When she had the impression that she was growing horns she stopped experimenting with herself and started to try to change cows. During her experiments she found out that she was able to deal with the milk from cows with long hair and that the curlier it was the better her body was able to handle the liquid. Sandra was very happy about this as it allowed her just to raise cows on a normal way without having to spend time in the laboratory. The success did not only make her happy it also made her rich and she always had to laugh when seeing the mellaps wandering around. They looked funny.

Halcali is a great store when it comes to elegant dresses and at the moment two of theirs are available as gifts. The green one with the patterns is their gift in the Candy Nail Mall which opened recently. The Candy Nail Mall is a mall for nails and there are also some pieces of art shown. The building is lovely and its definitly worth to take a look at it. Outside of the central store with all the nails is a lovely street with little stores. Halcali has a satelite store in one of them. The red dress with the fitting hat is the Halcali Valentines groupgift and still available in their mainstore. The Earrings come from Aura. They are made of mesh and available at the March Mesh Madness. The skin comes from the same store. The Zombie popcorn brand moved to a new location. It looks lovely and the upper picture has been taken there. Wasabi pills take part in the first round at that new location. They released a second version of their Monique hair. This one comes without braids. Parting the hair at the side normaly looks elegant and so does this hair. Purple poses also take part in the Zombiepopcorn Brand event. The pose on the first picture belongs to the ones they sell there.

Frozen Socks

The air was hot and warm. It was an other day at which the air conditioner did not work. Sandra did not care. She stayed in bed, playing with her hair and reading. There was nothing else to do for her. It was summer and way too hot to move. Strangely enough Sarah was wearing socks. They were pink and comfy. And she had put them into the fridge for some hours. Now they were cooling her feet.

After the last page she slipped out of the bed. The story had been good. It had been about demons and how they influenced people. After starting to read she had not been able to stop. The maincharacter was trying to found a school in the middle of a dschungle. He was the son of unbelieveable rich parents and wanted to do something good with all the money he owned. But there were always obsctacles. Sometimes a wall wasn't stable or the roof had a leak. Instead of giving up the man tried harder and harder and finally started to listen to the shaman of one of the tribes whose children were supposed to become pupils in the school. The shaman made him take part in their rites and ceremonies. First everything seemed to be just fine but the rites became darker and darker but as the construction of the school seemed to proceed the young heir kept taking part in them. At the end it turned out that the whole tribe prayed to old gods with unspeakable names. The heir tried to flee but the shaman bound one of his gods to him so that he became possessed. Sarah was still pondering about the end of the story. It seemed like the young man became normal again. But then there was a description of his shadow behaving in an odd way. Anyways it was time to get a new pair of iced socks.

The current round of the Zombiepopcorn brand event will end soon. So its time to hurry to get the items. Quarantine made mesh socks. Those are rigged to the feet. They look pretty comfy and might be a great item for a pj party. The makeup comes from pin me down and is sold in th same event. There are several versions of it in the pack. Koketka made the dress with the dots. The sculpted skirt is mod. The mesh hair comes from Wasabi Pills. Its called dragon and available for males and females. The sloth room is a fesival of sin item from Vaughan's house of curiosities. It has 44 prims and is mod. There are more fitting items to it available. Its a great prop for picturs and all parts are very well made. The bed comes from mudhoney. Its scripted and available in an adult and a pg version.

Stones and Candy

Her hair had the colour of candy. And she also reminded of something very sweet. Some people had compared her with candyfloss. She always giggled on a very kind and cute way when they did this. But hidden behind the mask, she showed all others, she despised people for thinking this way. But it helped her to get what she wanted.

Of course, she had fought to be seen as smart as she was but it seemed like people were not really willing to change their opinion. It made her first angry but after a while she saw no reason not to gain as much as she could from this and gave up. She used her smartness to build an imperium. An imperium of stones. From farmers she bought stones they found on their fields and after those had been cleaned - the stones not the farmers although those sometimes also could have needed a cleaning - she sold them as decoration to the owners of big gardens. It was worth the efford it was surprising what some people were willing to pay for a stone. So she could buy herself a nice home. It was simple and surprisingly enough for some there wasn't anything in it which reminded on candyfloss.

The festival of sin offers way more than just lust. LouLou & Co. made a wonderful gluttony themed headband. It has many little sweets on top of it and comes in three sizes. Its amazing how many details it has. Happy is a great store for the lovers of classical clothes. For the festival of sin they made a cute blouse with pretty bell formed sleves. The elegant pants are also belong to the festival of sin items from Happy.
The skybox on the upper pictures is the festival of sin item from Trompe Loeil. Its called "The Ka'u Beach". It mainly consists of mesh and is full furnitshed but leaves enough room for own decorations. The skybox has a garden with a pool and a livingroom, bedroom and a bathroom. The footprint is 54m x 29 m and the landimpact nearly 300. The hair is meshhair from Wasabi Pills. As the both Wasabi Pills creators wanted to avoid an argument the Sybille Hair is available in two versions. This is version 2. The set includes a version for avatar with bigger boobs and a normal one. The Boudoir mules from Lassitude & Ennui are an other mesh item, but they are being sold at the festival of sin. The shoes are available in several colour. It is also possible to wear them in a version where only the toes belong to the shoes and the rest of the feet of the avatar are visible, but I prefered the version where the complete foot is made of mesh. It is amazing how much better feet look which are made of mesh than normal primfeet. The colours look way more like skin. The toenails of the feet are tintable with the same hud which is also being used to tint the skin.
The pose on the upper pictures belongs to the envy me set from Hopscotch. The one on the lower are from the pencil set from Adorkable poses, its a set which is being made for pencil skirts but its great for elegant trousers as well. What I really like is that the creator included the mirrored poses. Both come also from the festival of sin.

Squid of Greed

In the morning when she woke she thought that all had been a dream. Padme had not managed to get into the bed and slept on the floor in her house. When she first moved there she often had strange dreams because of the octopus on the wall. For some time she had thought about painting over it. She even had tested how much colour it would need to cover it. But it didn't work. It wasn't possible to cover the picture. After a while she managed to deal with the dreams and it seemed like her life changed.

The evening in the casino was just typical. She did not know why she went there and why they let her in. Boots and a short dress with a big tattoo really did not fit to the dress code of a casino at least not of the elegant one she went to, but maybe they tought that she would be one of those rich girls who tried to look like they would live on the street. Padme wasn't rich at all but after the night in the casino she was. Her luck was insane. They had to give her a bag so that she would be able to carry home all the money she won. It felt so good she wanted more and more and more. The painted demon on the wall on her house was fine with this and most willing to help.

The festival of sin has started at the weekend and the items there are great. It is intresting to see how sins can inspire creators. Vanitas Vesture made short dresses with a bustle for the back. As all her dresses the textures look great and she manages to create elegance with a simple cut. The dress is available in many colours and the skirt is partly made of mesh, which even fits a small avatars. The makeup and the neckdress belong to a set Miamai sells at the festival of sin. The tattoo comes from Essential Soul. It is unisex and the set contains it in three versions - fresh, faded and faint. Lap has always been a posestore I liked and their greed inspired pile of money poses are fun for pictures. They contain a 5prim poseprop to rezz and money to wear and some piles of money as decoration. The skin from Aura is awesome in my opinion. It is available in five skintones. From light to dark those are Milk, Cream, Honey, Caramel and Expresso. The one on the pictures is the skin in milk. It is available in three makeups. The used one is called used and does not look like there would be much makeup used just maybe a bit of lipgloss and some great eyeliner. The other two have a bit more makeup. There are demos available so its definitly worth to test this skin. Red boots are great to show off and the ones from gos mix the cuteness of laces and bows with battle boots. Which makes them perfect for every roleplayer princess. They are made of mesh and included in five sizes and a non rigged version in the set. With the included hud its possible to change the colour of the inlet of the boots between a flowerish one and black. The boots can be worn up or pulled down. When worn in the pulled down version there is a shadow of the top on the feet. The alphalayer which came with them was too big for my avatar. But the alphas from Duh, do the job well else its always possible to make own alphas. The poses on the lower picture come all from adorkable poses. They belong to the touch me and the legs set which are both also sold on the festival of sin. Pestle and Twig made the skybox which has been used at the first pictures. It has 63 prims and looks quite cool. It even has a door with a little entrance in front of it. The squid on the wall and the pool in the middle fit well together and which isn t visible on the pictures the texture on the ceiling is animated and looks like the water would be reflected. A very nice idea. It has a 21 x 21 footprint so it fits also on small parcels.
