And there was a certain silence at the end of the first day of them all that was the beginning of a myriad of sunrises and -downs, a silence not even the soft whispers of rolling waves and the birds' drowsy tweets managed to fill. Sounds speaking of passion and loss, like the voice of a shadow-veiled seducer rolling from a luring tongue, noises that would touch the longing heart and would make it want to sing along to the melody of creation wafting through warm air. Like caressing a long-missed lover, he let his fingertips brush over the curves of polished wood and strings made of steel, enjoying the subtle susurration and vibrations of a yet unknown song - and he knew that it was good.



A little ode to solitude and the beauty of music in this post about the colour "eggplant" for Luna Jubilee's blogger challenge. [winter sun]

He'd stowed away in his desperate attempt to escape the countryside's neverending widths, the rotting smell of crops that had never been harvested and were still spreading the humid perfume of an eternal autumn. It was the cold he was longing for - an icy storm's needle-sharp kisses on his face and the immaculate white of a snowy blanket covering the world's ugliness...


...but what he found in the end, once the train stopped and his impatient hands opened the heavy doors made of metal and wood wasn't snow, wasn't even white at all: it was a wintry sun's golden ray that bathed his dusty shape with a waterfall of glittering light, cold and crispy in this total absence of sounds between past and present.

I d like to mention some free stuff i found in the last days or well some of it have been groupgifts so i could stay at home and nibble at my toes.

Becoming a witch

Kiki’s Delivery Service is one of my favourite films. Its a anime about a little witch leaving her parents house to become independent. She and her cat jiji have some adventures till they finally find a place where they like to stay.
For halloween Kiki's outfit is the gift in a mini hunt (you have to find one pumpkin containing the gift) at KiiToS.

In the gift you get three broomsticks. Two with a pose, one of them has jiji on it and one without pose and also without jiji.
And there is also Jiji for the shoulder. The whole outfit is extremly well made and looks very much like the film one. So if you love studio Ghibli this is just an amazing gift.
