Leaving the matrix

It had been a long way out of the matrix. But not long enough to cool her anger. Hidden behind her mask she pressed her eyes together when the pure light hit her eyes. Oh she was ready and the dance would follow her beat.
Clockwork Orange is one of those books and films which somehow always stayed in my mind.
The black boots from GOS somehow reminded me on it. So I decided to try to put an outfit together which would also remind others on it. GOS is currently having a sale in their location at the Truth District which hopefully will help them to cover the costs they have because their cat got badly injured and they want it to be fine again.
The sale contains more or less only items for females.
When pondering about a fitting weapon I remembered the Baseball bat Messer Co released some time ago. Besides of being useful in any CCS or Lindendamage fight it looks great. The bat comes in two different versions and has a resizescript as well as the possiblity to choose between different amounts of blood and dirt on the bat. It can either be worn in the hand or carried on the belt which also belongs to the set.
To find a fitting bowler I had the help of Paco Pooley, one of the owners of 22769 who told me that I might find one at the vintage fair. He did not remember which store made it but luckily  Ravi Shelter had blogged it and was able and willing to help.
He also recommended me the pose used in the second picture, it is a gift from H<>W Pose. 
The pose on the first picture is contained in a prop which reminds on matrix. It is an other item in the sale to help with the vet costs and comes from Bent.
The Anais Hair from Wasabi Pills suits the look although it is long hair. But it goes great under hats as well as without them.
I m not sure if the guys in the film wear masks but the gin tattoo mask from #7 seems to fit to the outfit.
As shirt any white shirt works. This one belongs to a set from Phoenix Rising. It isn't possible to make the sleeves smaller but in this case that is bearable.
The white pants are available at the 100 L$ sale which still seems to be going on.

Never can tell

It took a while till they found the room they wanted to finish. The house was allready giant. Way bigger than they had planed to build it. But it was just for training. Their aims were way bigger. They wanted to manage to build a house which would cross the sandar. The biggest river in the whole country. It was the last step to become the head magicians of the empire. But they needed to train it. So it was time for the 368th room. They started the dance. First the room was just a shimmering square around them. This was the most difficult part. As long as it wasn't physical they had to levitate and to dance at the same time. But after creating 367 rooms together their bodies moved in a perfect rhythm together. After a while they were able to feel the floor under their feet. Things seemed to go well. They hoped that they would only need to create around 400 more buildings until they would be ready for their masterpiece. Housing shortage was a problem nobody had heared of in the country where they lived.

The disco hunt is still going on but will end soon (at Oct. 15th). This pose is one of the gifts in it. It comes from Captivity and it is just amazing that its possible to recreate the dancing scene from pulp fiction with it. Bare feet are essential for that scene so the primfeet from slink fit perfectly. Although those ones have slightly longer toenails and also pawpads under the feet so that they are just perfect for roleplay. The feet are of course tintable and so are the toenails. Its also possible to turn off the pawpads as for example a demon might not have them while a werewolf of course needs them. The exotix feet are on the backside of the vendor with the normal feet. The jacket on him comes from Gentleman as well as her trousers. The jacket also includes a white shirt. Gentleman is a great store for well textured clothes for men. The white tucked shirt belongs to a set from phoenix rising. They sell everything for 25 L$ or lower there. The hair on him comes from Sadistic Hacker, which is an awesome store for anime like hair and the hair on her comes from Wasabi Pills, which is an awesome store for fantasy and just cute hair.

Ghost Ship

Ira was pondering. The ship was there - again. It seemed to appear once a year. And something on the island changed every time. This year the ship brought pelicans. Ira was not sure if she should be happy or annoyed about this. She loved birds and they looked good between flowers. But what would they eat? It was always so tricky with all the ghostanimals the ship brought.

I love simple, sophisticated outfits. The shirt and shawl come from Zaara, which is a store for amazing clothing for both genders. The texturing of both is amazing. The shawl is made of 7 prims and the loose parts of it move when the avatar moves. In my opinion it is a good thing to have one or two shawls just to add a detail to a very simple outfit. The shawl is mod so it is possible to make it bigger or smaller if that is needed. The blouse is sheer with some decorating seams on it. Because of the shawl over it, its not needed to wear a bra under it but without shawl it might be better to do so. It comes on on all layers so its possible to wear a jacket over it and of course a bra under it. The trousers are available at Phoenix Rising. Everything there is 25 L$ or less and the items are normaly well made (I only had sometimes the problem that it wasn't possible to mod primparts). The boots come from Coco. They have laces wrapped around them and consist of an upper and a lower part. Both parts are resizeable with the help of a hud. They go well with the thight pants but could also be combined with hotpants or short skirts. Because of their look it might be possible to use them also on several kinds of roleplay sim.

Jennifer

Well folks meet Jennifer she is the latest shape release at CS Shapes and I love her! Jennifer has been designed with a Brazilian body form in mind, so she is tall, leggy and has fabulous curves in all the right places & as you can see has the perfect pout! Where better to pick up a skin to match the shape than Shine who caters for Brazilian type skins. I've blogged Shines skins before and they're fantastic (p.s there is an mm board & luckychair there too).

If you're not familiar with CS Shapes then you should be because for me Xanthe Audeburgh gets the proportions absolutely perfect and I'm sure you'll agree we've all tried making our own shapes & it's much harder than you would think. CS Shapes has both male & female shapes & there are demos to try out so you can find the perfect you!

 Throughout my whole time in sl I kept the shape I made for myself  on my very first day, until  that is, I picked up Lana at CS Shapes at the surf N skate hunt. What  occurred to me  most about having this new shape is how great other skins looks on it, I'd tried so many skins in the past that didn't seem to suit my shape, REALLY!...sounds odd I know but it's true, so it just goes to show what difference a greatly designed shape makes!

OMG I love this outfit! detailing of the top is great and the colours I love too, there is a green one too which is an unusual shade..HAIR! 30L and is one of my favourites to date! oh but the shoes oh how I love shoes, and if you love them as much as I do then J's has got to be one of your top priorities, they are simply amazing. This pair is divine they just look so great n your feet , particularly with the little prim toes, a serious amount of detailing has gone into these, and I love the fact that I can remove the prims that go round the leg for another different style shoe. Oh better just mention too , that these gorgeous shorts come with a prim  red cuff, but i chose not to wear then on this occasion.

This hair I've been stalking for days on the luckyboard at kmh, and so I've roped in so many people to help me that just about everyone in SL must now have It  (thank you lovelies xx) but I knew I wanted It to go with this dress. I can't help but adore this dress look at the detail!! oh and the colour! oh which brings me onto the shoes! again. Now I know I've blogged these shoes so many times but I can't stress enough that they're going to be one of the best things you'll ever buy in SL, seriously they go with everything, with the colour change script with 112 options you're never going to be stuck with an outfit with no shoes to match, plus group members get a 50% discount every Friday so in effect you're getting 112 pairs of shoes for 75L ....crazy!

Button me up

Wow do I adore this outfit! It takes so much from the regency period, with this amazing  Bonaparte jacket from A:S:S and the flora boots from Lassitude & Ennui yet so wonderfully modern at the same time.  Well at least  least 200 years ago I wouldn't have had to worry about getting through customs wearing all these buttons would I? ...sorry I think some random stuff at times. Anyway can you believe this jacket is only L$90 ?! mental!

The boots have been made for the forthcoming fantasy faire, and come in every colour imaginable! they have been designed for with a roleplay feel for either a victorian lady or a doll feel...very imaginative, however they're not restricted to this, as I intend to wear them with a nice pair of jean next!

Well these daily dollarbies at The Vinyl Cafe are fantastic , but oh my! todays is by far my favourite. I love love love it! It's just my kind of thing. I adore the ruffle on the blouse, which has wonderful movement as you walk along, but it's only on offer for today at 1L so be quick if you want to take advantage of this offer.My next super deal is the boots, I've become a super fan of Skifija store whose items I have blogged previously. In my finest

Here I am in my two current favourite items. First the skirt, I adore this skirt for so many reason, yes the texture is fabulous, but what I love most is the shape, I can honestly say that this is THE best skirt I've ever had!. The way it is designed, makes so that no matter how I stand or walk, my bottom never shows through, now that is quite something if you ask me! I'm sure you'll all agree that nearly every skirt or dress you've ever had, flexi or non-flexi reveals your legs or bottom at some point, well not this one, you really truly have to have it to appreciate what I'm saying.

Next is the shoes! aww shoes! I love them, and again I have to say that these are the best shoes I've ever had, again due to clever design!. I love the shape and style, but what I adore about them is the versatility. There are so many options with these shoes, that you need never buy another pair, well not for a long time hehe. Never before have I found a pair of shoes that makes it so easy to match my skin colour perfectly, but also the amount of options is fantastic. You can change the look in so many ways, the fabric (116 colours available to choose from), the sole, the jewelry and toe colour. I don't think I ever want to take them off!

My little project

I'm about to embark on a small project to keep myself entertained. This is to blog mens clothes, or indeed women's clothes of a masculine design, unisex clothes if you will! of course all to be freebies or dollarbies just to make the challenge ....well more challenging! so I start off with this top which is a mans sweater, that I stretched the prims a little to become more of a dress. I d like to mention some free stuff i found in the last days or well some of it have been groupgifts so i could stay at home and nibble at my toes.

In Autumn

Walking around in the wood. And using the heels of my boots to pick up leaves for using them later.

Broom fight

Edith was a strange witch. Even for a witch. She used her broomstick not only to fly around. She used it to clean the floor. After being used for 500 years by a witch a broomstick normaly gets a personality. So this one got really angry. Everytime she wanted to use it she had a hard fight first.
But she learned a lot of tricks.
So at the end she was normally the winner and the broomstick behaved.
Her Aunt was always curious on hearing new broom stories. So Edith visited her quite often.
The broomstick is a subscriber gift at Oomph! Poses. Its still possible to get it just subscribe and check the history. The poses are really funny and somehow they also remind me on the witches in the golden compass.

Look for having a drink with a robot

Its important to be dressed right when going out. Especially when the bartender is a naughty robot. If the clothes are too short he flips out and gets a leak and if everything is covered he does not give gratis drinks as he sees then no reason to make you drunk. So its important to find a good mix. The top and the pants are from the phoenix rising sale (the store is going to close and they sell everything for 100 Linden). I like the bow of the corset very much. A:S:S started to sell viewer2 tattoo layer eyeliner named guyliner and i had a look and tested if the guyliner also looks fine on females and it does. They sell one makeup for 20 Lindens and there is also a free one which i used on the picture. The earrings are from womens dreamy body shop and well the boots are my current favourite shoes and they are still from perse. The eyes are from my favourite eyestore - Sterling Artistry. They are rather big dragoneyes. Silverr the owner sells twelve different colours of dragoneyes on the picture i used the ones in TealSplendor.
