Fantasy Faire 2013 - One Wee Goat

Marjoriana considered herself a smart, no-nonsense girl. In summer, when the whole village worked in the fields and the old women entertained the kids with spooky stories about the creatures that lived in the woods, Marjoriana giggled, wrinkled her nose and tried to look superior. Nobody would feed her that, for sure. Dancing lights that sing a lullaby so you fall asleep for a century? Sweetly smelling mushrooms that taste like strawberries, but after you eat one your skin turns scaly like a snake's? Bah, and bah again, Marjoriana thought.

One very hot summer afternoon Marjoriana became so thirsty that, instead of going back to the village well, she decided she would look for some water in the woods. The "enchanted" forest looked peaceful and the girl soon found a pretty spring, the water was sweet and Marjoriana was quickly sated. "Well, y'know-all aunties, what do you say now?" - she giggled, stood up, and started walking back, towards the village... but she stopped immediately as she didn't know where those cloppity-clopping noises came from. Then she looked down her feet and started screaming like a banshee.

I don't really believe in "destiny" but I admit I was quite amazed when I first read the list of the designers whose work I was to show you during the Faire, and I found the names of Baldur Darkwatch and Vital Tigerpaw, the owners of "!Completely oBVious!", on it. It was an act of divine justice, more like... because I still have a bad conscience about a gift I didn't blog during the last Medieval Fantasy Hunt. It was a splendid Elven warrior lady outfit, created by Vital; what left a deep impression in me was not only the outstanding quality of her work but also the accompanying notecard, in which Baldur and Vital politely apologised for the imperfections and promised to do better next time. Then my RL became busy, the hunt ended, and I've had a remorse ever since... until now. For the free and the brave

I d like to mention some free stuff i found in the last days or well some of it have been groupgifts so i could stay at home and nibble at my toes.

I really like the halloween groupgift from likka house. Its a short skirt with fitting top and a lovely hat. I live the funny trousers you wear under the skirt a lot. Outfit: [Group Gift] LIKKA*HOUSE Majocco-pumpkin

Eret!ka gave out a cute halloween skin. Its purple and has some stuff around the eyes on it. Unfortunatly i wore a mask i got in the hateween hunt. The outfit comes from the phoenix rising sale.

I somehow have enough of halloween, all that orange and the skulls and pumpkins. Somehow i can't see it anymore. But i have to admit there are some great items available in halloween hunts. I liked the hateween hunt a lot. Some japanese stores take part in it and so you get some cute free stuff.

Just looking at her portrait could wake his hunger for brains.

I found this really nicely made outfit called 'Zombie Boy' at the Hunt of the Living Dead at *RoTtEn DeFiAnCe*. It comes in a clean and dirty version and in multiple layers, the prim parts such as pant-legs, shirt-sleeves and the collar are sculpted.

Macabre hunting

I started the macabre hunt because seeing a picture of this jester suit in the top secret blog. And i wanted to stop hunting when i went to the store which gives away this gift. The hunt item is hidden on a mean way and the place was also laggy. But it was worth to take the time to get the item. As it is rather nice.

This skin is from the lucky board at cozy in hell. It comes in six different versions. The makeup is very colourful. The lingerie is from violent seduction and was also hidden rather mean. But it turned out to be smart to join the hunters group as i met somebody i know in it and she helped me a bit.

I have a thing for well made trousers and those are very well made. They go well with this sweet sweater from diapop and the cape from luster. The sweater comes with different versions of the arms and is very comfy.
