Future Hay

The smell of the gras was fantastic. It would be very good hay after being harvested. The mellaps would like it. The mellaps were mainly Sandra's invention. Not too many people knew about them and when somebody saw one by mistake they mostly thought that it would be an oversized sheep. Of course those thoughts were wrong. They were more undersized cows. Sandra loved milk but then she had to realize that she became allergic to it. First she tried several tricks. There were surely enough books about how to deal with that allergy. But all that helped only a bit. And she hated soymilk. She wanted the creamy taste which only got really satisfied by cowmilk in her opinion. Luckily she had a lot of knowledge about genetical engineering. First she tried to modify herself but this did not work very well. Of course she became able to deal with milk but somehow her toe- and fingernails- started to grow very much and somehow it also seemed like she was getting more hair on her skin. In a pretty pattern with white and black spots. When she had the impression that she was growing horns she stopped experimenting with herself and started to try to change cows. During her experiments she found out that she was able to deal with the milk from cows with long hair and that the curlier it was the better her body was able to handle the liquid. Sandra was very happy about this as it allowed her just to raise cows on a normal way without having to spend time in the laboratory. The success did not only make her happy it also made her rich and she always had to laugh when seeing the mellaps wandering around. They looked funny.

Halcali is a great store when it comes to elegant dresses and at the moment two of theirs are available as gifts. The green one with the patterns is their gift in the Candy Nail Mall which opened recently. The Candy Nail Mall is a mall for nails and there are also some pieces of art shown. The building is lovely and its definitly worth to take a look at it. Outside of the central store with all the nails is a lovely street with little stores. Halcali has a satelite store in one of them. The red dress with the fitting hat is the Halcali Valentines groupgift and still available in their mainstore. The Earrings come from Aura. They are made of mesh and available at the March Mesh Madness. The skin comes from the same store. The Zombie popcorn brand moved to a new location. It looks lovely and the upper picture has been taken there. Wasabi pills take part in the first round at that new location. They released a second version of their Monique hair. This one comes without braids. Parting the hair at the side normaly looks elegant and so does this hair. Purple poses also take part in the Zombiepopcorn Brand event. The pose on the first picture belongs to the ones they sell there.

Preparing for the big night

The theatre was way bigger than she had expected it. But that would only mean more applause for her. Finally she was getting the credits she always had wanted. For two years she had been singing in a dirty old club, a distraction while the strippers changed their costumes. But then a boss of a record company had heard her. After that everything changed quickly. Now she would sing for people who had not even looked at her some months ago. Not that she cared. She knew they would never be able to even feel the soul as she did. And the soul was the only thing what really mattered to her.

Etta James died some days ago. She had been one of the big voices of blues, soul and more genres. Because of this Adam n Eve released a tribute skin and shape which will be available for free until the 23th of January. The look of this combination is very sweet. The skin is well made as all Adam n Eve skin and as much as I dislike using other shapes than my normal one I really love this one. The proportions are great and of course it fits perfectly to the skin. To get a diva but still playful look I used the Taleen hair from Wasabi pills and the Just swing dress from Icing. The Hair is asymetric with a ponytail which is wrapped around one side of the neck. It is made of mesh so it does not through the body. The dress comes with a fitting hat and as everything from elegance it is pure sophisticated elegance. The hat also belongs to the set. The pose which has been used for the picture comes from Purple Poses.

Black swan

The black swan caught Jade's attention when she was visiting her palace in the north of the golden empire. The empire has been reigned by her family for ages and it was planed that Jade would be the next queen. She was not really glad about this but was willing to bear the duties which would come with that title. As all future queens she was sent on a journey through the empire to get to know the different parts and to meet as many citizens as possible. It was very exhausting and Jade was angry at herself that she accepted to reign. But she knew that somebody had to and did not want that somebody would gain the power who would not care about the empire. So she finally got to the last corner of the empire and during an event where she had to meet many of the local notabilities she saw the swan. Jade followed the animal into the forest and was stunned. She never had been alone in a forest and this was a lost one. People said she had only been a few minutes in the forest but for Jade it was like hours. Her trip to nature changed her a lot and when she finally became queen she took care very well of the lands and a black swan was her heraldic animal.

Icing takes part in the Vintage Fair and created a set of wonderful dresses because of that. This is the pink version of the dress. It comes with a fitting hat with veil. The primparts are mod and its possible to make the skirt smaller, which means it also fits small avatars. The systemparts of the dress come on all layers. There is also an alphalayer included which hides some parts between the thights and the hips so that the butt can not poke through the skirt.

Terror Frogs

The weather was perfect, the guests would arrive soon and her hair was as she wanted it. But suddenly Elise heared a frog. This was one of the worst things which could happen. A jazz concert with the constant croaking of a frog would be really annoying. First she tried to spot it in the water. But there were only fish in the water. The croaking seemed to come from an other corner. She allready started to nestle nervously at her necklace. The frog would ruin the whole concert if she would not find it soon and she had put so much work into the organisation of the event, but had not supposed that a frog could ruin her plans. Elise searched and searched finally she decided to take her glasses out of her clutch maybe she would find the frog with its help. She did not find her glasses in her clutch but a frog.

Eboni is the latest skin release from ND/MD. It is available in four skintones with four makeups in each of the skintones. The sets also contain tattoo and underwearlayers for the cleavage or pubic hair. There are also several shapes available which fit to the skin. This is the skin in natural. Moonlay one of the two designers and owners of ND/MD painted the skin nearly completly. Only for some parts of the face he used textures from a picture. The quality of the skin is amazing. Its possible to use it for many different looks it only depends on the hair and the other accessories which are being used. I decided to create a classical look. For that I choosed the shimmy dress in red from Icing. As accessory I choosed a necklace from Icing too. Its a simple pearlnecklace which fits to many dresses. The clutch belongs to an other dress from the same store.

Waiting maid

Was that the sound of a horn? Fina walked quickly to the windows to peek out. But it seemed like the ship still hadn't arrived. After releasing a deep sigh she turned around and started to clean the empty coffee shop. Her long hair, which she had wrapped together to a ponytail. moved from side to side while she worked.

She was allready busy with making new plans and dusting always helped her to focus her thoughts. Should she make plum or applecake? Or both? Fina stopped for a moment and walked back to the window to peek out again. Hopefully the ship would arrive soon. Then the coffeeshop would be filled with guests.

The french maid costume is the latest release from Icing. The outfit comes with a maiddress, fitting stocking and two kinds of headdress (one with frills and one without) and of course a featherduster. To avoid that the body moves through the skirt there is an alpha layer included but it is not needed to wear it. Icing is a great store for classical costumes and dresses for women. No matter what Miko Omegamu creates it is always elegant and unique even when its a classical dress its always visible that she made it. The texturing is very well made and the little details of the dress like the frills of the apron are just lovely. Icing is definitly a store which is worth a visit.

Black Coats

She was a smoker since her last boyfriend had left her. This was about twelve years ago and sometimes when laying alone in her bed she was wondering how it could have been if they would have stayed together.

In those nights she normaly she had horrible nightmares. But when she woke and smoked the first cigarette she always felt better. Of course she could have stayed with him. He was the most stubborn man she had met in centuries. Maybe this was the reason why she fell for him. Of course his blood was also tasty. But he got so angry when she drank the blood of others. After he had been five years with her she offerd him to make him to one of her kin. But he did not want that. They started to argue everyday. He wanted to adopt children, she did not want to get attached to beings which would be most likely even more tasty than him. She was not glad when seeing him ageing. In her opinion it was just silly of him secretly she supposed that he only did not want to become one of her kin to anger her. But then he left. She never really understood why he did not stay with her. She had been willing to stay with him until he would die but he did not want her to do so. Sometimes she supposed that he left because of his job. She never understood why a priest had spend so much time with her.

When seeing the Radu Coats from A:S:S the first time I fell immediately for them. But as they were created for men I was insecure how they would look at my avatar. At the end I was not able to resist and bought the onyx version of the coat. And it fits. Of course it was needed to rotate some of the primparts a bit and to resize them. But this took maybe around 10 minutes. I love the shading of the coat and the patterns on the primpart are very beautiful. The systemparts come on all layers so its possible to wear clothes under the coat. I decided to combine it with the ducttapes from League. The cigarette holder belongs to a set from Icing.

In Wheat

She was looking forward to the day at the beach. It would be a nice time in the sun. But was the weather really nice enough to wear a bathing suit all day? She was insecure so she slipped into her high heels and went onto the balcony to check the weather. The wheat scratched her ankles and she got insecure if she really should go to the beach or if it wouldn't be better to harvest the grain on the balcony.

Icing takes part at the lazy sunday and their item is classic and elegant as all their items. The pink outfit is called Coraline. It could be worn either as very short dress or as bathsuit. At the left side it has a big flower of the same colour as the dress. When taking the trouser layer and the skirt-prim off the dress turns into a bathingdress. Although the dress is so classical it goes very well with big tattoos. So this dress is perfect for classic pinup pictures. Beside this its always worth to visit Icing. The sim where they have their store is very pretty and there is normaly nice music playing.

Birthday Princess

At Saturday was my rl birthday so I wanted to be dressed elegantly in second life too. And I wanted to feel of course like a princess in both lives. So when seeing that Icing takes part in the disco deals at the moment I went there and got me this elegant black dress. It comes with a sculpted and a flexi skirt. As at all dresses from icing the shading is great. On the shoulders it has cute bows. The dress is also available in other colours but I liked it best n black. I added some of the happieness shared jewlery from frippery. Those consists out of many flowers and let the dress look a bit less strict.

Before going to get the dress from Icing I opened the birthday gift from a dear friend. The lingerie he has choosen is gorgeous. The set comes with the top and the bottom on the undies, undershirt and pants and shirt layer. It is lovely how many details the texture has. The cut with the seams let it look elegant, feminin and sexy and everything but cheap. Included into the set are several pairs of stockings. All of them have the classical look with seams at the backside.

Teddy Girl

Work is over now it is time to have fun. And to look good to be able to compete with the look of the Teddy boys

When reading about the Subcultures blogger challenge i wanted to take part in it. And i hoped not to get the teddy boy theme. But of course i got it and so i had to read a bit about that youth culture of the 1950s. I did not want to adopt the look of the teddy boys but luckily i found a great fashion blog, calivintage, which had an entry about teddy girls. From the pictures there i liked this one best. The facial expression of that woman is just amazing in my opinion and the composition of the picture with her in the front standing cool and all the guys in the background is great. Im kind of sure that she knew how to tell all those boys to get her cigarettes or not to pester her younger siblings.
So i decided to combine a coat with two lines of buttons with rolled up jeans, pointy flat shoes and a handbag. On those pictures most of the girls wear scarfs i choosed to take a necklace from icing. The cigarette holder comes also from icing.
Choosing the hair took a lot of time and i have to admit i had help from Paco from 22769. I spend some time showing him what kind of hair i got in my inventory. With this short hair which is or has been a freebie from clawtooth he finally was content and so i decided to pick it for the pictures.
I really like this look and this blogger challenge is an awesome idea in my opinion, as it is always great to discover something new (ahm i discovered something old and found out that i like it thats also great).

In flowers

Wandering through flowers while being dressed nicely. Its the time when the colours are magical and the wind moves all the plants and the hair so softly that you are surprised in the evening when you start to feel bad because of having spent too much time in the sun.

I can't say how much i love this dress. It is from Icing one of my favourite stores. The designer is one of the few who could use the skirtlayer. Of course on my small avi its seeable that the dresses are made with that layer but on taller avatars it is perfect, and on mine it looks so good that i love wearing it. The dress is black with a pencil skirt and an attachment at it which lets look it less strict. On the top is a pattern in grey which looks like a jugendstil pattern. That pattern on the top kind of moves into the flounce at the side. The left sleve is covered with lily blossoms. In my opinion it is a very lovely dress and its anyways always a good idea to visit icing - not for the purse - but to see some great dresses.

Red in Red

Gangparties could be annoying. Being dressed up all fine but the floor is still dity from the last "meeting". At least the colour of the dress fits just fine to the floor. This wonderful dress comes from icing. Its great how the designer managed to make the folds of the cloth look by using only the system layers. The skirt is of course a prim. The dress has a cut on the side so that one leg is seeable (and the highheels could be seen better and knives worn at the leg could be drawn easily). So its not only a dress for an elegant lady it also works for an elegant lady with convincing abilities. Dress: *ICING* Gala Affair - Red (295$)

Ready for the party

Being dressed for the silvester party. But somehow the plane seems to be a bit late. The dresses from icing are just perfect for a party. They are elegant and classy. And the quality of the textures is amazing. The upper dress is one of my favourite dresses from Icing. Its named Holiday Party and that name fits perfectly. The dress comes with lace under the skirt and a big fur collar. The dress in burgundy on the left side exposes the shoulders more. It could be worn with a skirt in tealength or as ballroom gown. The flowers at the hip are lovely. The dress on the right somehow reminds me on ships and sailors. Its elegant but also works for just going to the supermarket to get some fresh apples.

Pure elegance

Went lost on the way to the theatre. Well went very lost. To a strange not really elegant area. Now watching some workers and pondering if asking them for the right way or not. At least having a candy-cane. So starving will be avoided at the way back to the citycentre. Icing is definitly one of the best clothing stores for women. The creations from there are classic and timeless. Elegant and inpressive without looking like being made for a parvenu. The marilyn dress in violet is new on the icing lucky chair and so is the fur stole. The dress is perfect for looking like marilyn monroe on a picture and the stole just adds a great bonus to the dress. The stole comes with an inbuild ao the pose on the picture for example is one of the stoleposes.

Hunting on the streets

Icing is one of the best stores for elegant clothes for women i know. All the dresses are well made and perfect for the need to look sexy but not cheap. And the dresses from Icing do not look cheap at all. Even although the prices in that store are quite low compared to other stores on the same quality level. But of course its great to have the chance to test the quality of the dresses from a store without paying money and this is currently possible at the Rue D’Antibes Hunt. Icing has a store on that sim and takes part in the hunt. Their gift is a dress which could be either worn with a black skirt. Or with a pink skirt. It has some ruffles around the neck which make the strict cut pencilskit outfit look more playful.

Getting ready

A day in the morning coat could make quite tired. So after having nuzzled for hours on the chaiselongue i managed to get over to the make-up table.First i used some lipstick. Of course in red.
Then i put on some eyeshadow.
But somehow it became rather colourful.
So while brushing my hair i got kind of a crisis and had to cry a bit. Because i m so untalented when it comes to makeup.
But i managed to calm down and to put on a decent dress. So after being glad with my nails i tried to put on a makeup again and it worked.
I even found a fitting necklace and decent high heels and managed to get out of the house without more crying. Hopeing that the evening would become a nice one.
The makeup table is from No strings attached. The item is exclusive to Copley Square Merchant Showcase that means its only available there and not in the other NSA stores. It comes with lots of different poses for putting the makeup on or to brush the hair or paint the nails. There are two versions of the table available a white one and one in a dark wood look. And the table comes with many many props. You could rezz and derezz the makeup stuff on the table but there are also props for holding in the hand included. For example the hairbrush or eyeliner.

The morning coat is from a:s:s. I love how luxory and comfy it looks just like any silken morning coat. I also used the guyliner makeup from that store. The flip flops have been in the beat clash hunt and i like them because they have those little skulls. The black dress is from icing and comes with the dragonfly brooch.

From time to time i look around at the KDC Mall. The necklace was on one of the lucky boards there. It comes in two versions (for different attachment points) and has a resize script. The mix of little diamonds and black and white stones is just nice.

Short visit at SD Wears

Today i went to SD Wears because i wanted to slap the midnight mania board. I also managed to do that - you have to be quick it has a low target so its always full very early.

I looked around and found this red orange dress stunning. It has some black textures on the skirt and i like the autumn like colours. Somehow it also reminds on a pirate dress. The cut is asymetric and it has a wide opening at the side. This might be very useful for example when you need to let grow the hair on one of your legs this dress would allow you to hide the hairy leg and to show the shaved one. I also got me a sheer top. It comes on the shirt layer. So you could either wear it with a bra under it to show off your underwear. Or you wear it without anything under it. For example if you go to the supermarket and you are in hurry. So men might allow you to go in front of them to be able to see you walking and the women might allow you that to make their guys only see your back. The green skirt is from icing.

For the fantasy fair they built something new. A rocket rider ao for girls. The rocket is attatched at the arm and contains 25 animations with copy and mod rights.

The poses are all very pinup like. So this rocket is fun. I first thought that it might be possible to build an object of a similar size and use it with the ao but i was told that this would be tricky as the rocket is scripted.

White gloves and red roses

I have fallen in love today. With those white gloves. Now i carry a rose between my lips. And a mask on my face do hide my blush.

KWZ Omega Point

If there is one shop which really impresses me is the Shop at Omega Point. This is my favourite Dress from there. It goes well with a Aquatic Dragon Familiar.

In this blog i used the Skin :GP: Moonbeam [Dark] Elf-Happy Holidays from Curio. It was a x-mas groupgift and to be honest i don' t want to know what it costs now.
