Time for Spring

As every year it was a surprise when it happened. One day the world was grey and rainy and the next day spring suddenly was there. With flowers and singing birds and everything. Sheela was budy with dressing herself when she recognized it. Still wearing her comfy morning skirt and no shoes she stepped outside to wander through the now blooming garden. It was wonderful. In her mind she allready heard the sound of icecubes clicking at each other when she would have her first garden party in this year.

Fashion for life is now running for two days. Its one of the biggest fundraising events for relay for life in second life. On 10 sims fashion stores of all kinds show their creations. Two or more of those are donation items when those are being bought the money goes to relay for life and supports the american cancer society. The skin on the picture comes from Hush. In its honey tone its one of the huntgifts at fashion for life. For the picture I used the shape which has been made for the skin. What I really like it that there were fitting eyebrows included. The skirt on the picture is the latest release from Aura. Its made of mesh and comes in five sizes and is being sold in many colours. Its available in the Aura mainstore. Aura takes also part at fashion for life. Everything in their both is being donated to Relay for Life ,so its definitly worth to visit their booth. The top comes from snatch. The pack contains several colours. The cut is great and it goes well with lowrise trousers or as on the picture lowrise skirts. The hair is made of mesh and comes from wasabi pills. The two bands give if a look which reminds a bit on art nouveau.

Happy RezDay Likka House!

So if you haven't checked out Likka yet, shame on you! You've got such great outfits just merely a hop skip and a jump away! With prices WORTH that jump! Its a rez day sale over there, and let me tell you, these outfits are hooooot! And quite snazzy too. I've taken the liberty to photo a few of the outfits awaiting you!

This lovely number is called Alice, and its really got Alice down pat I think!

And here we have Dolothy, a nice little striped top with a long and very swishy skirt. Comes with a cute little choker and a broach to add that little dab of sophistication.

Ahh Blanca, who can't help but look innocent and pure as the driven snow in this frock. Its topped with bell sleeves and lace in all the right places! And topped with a pair of wings found in the same store!

Last but not least my favorite of the outfits I've shown. It might be the pink checkered top, or the adorable top hat, but this outfit has it all dark gothy feel with class.

Waiting for snow

Two girls had spend now two weeks on waiting for snow. But somehow there isn't one little snowflake seeable. So after a long snowball fight in the cellar (they used the ice from the freezer) they decided to train for winter. In the cellar they also found their old sledge which seemed to be perfect for some wintertraining. Soon they recognized that pulling a sledge over grass is hard work. It was time to train falling from the sledge. It worked allready well.
At the end they looked rather tired and their clothes had become very dirty because of all the falling from the sledge. So they just spend some time with sitting on the sledge and having a talk (bigtalking about future snowmans and snowball fight tactics).
No Strings attached take part in the Hunt. For that Milli created a lovely sledge which could be used by two persons and fitting winter things like gloves, cute hats and scarf and winterboots. The items are all wellmade (she is only able to create great things). The facetattoo with the frostbite is an A:S:S groupgift. And its great. I love how it changes the look of the avatar into a freezing beeing which needs a cup of hot milk as soon as possible. The pasties are contained in a freebie outfit from Dr. Wraithwire. The shorts and the black dress come from the snatch lucky chair.

[look of the night: black blood]

As usual, I'm being a little late following my gorgeous fellow bloggers, but better late than never. Since I'm undead by choice, I hope you'll bear with me that I rather present my Look of the Night than showing off my daytime-PJ's... this my second post and I don't want to scare you all off in the very beginning.

Anyways, on the clothes! I picked a tee that's been one of my very first purchases, a nicely shaded piece you can get at *BOOM*. It comes in a set of 4 different versions, from solid to ultra sheer, is unisex and available in a rainbow of colours, so you can layer different shades quite nicely. And all that for a steal deal of only 50L$ per pack!

The lickable latex pants with ankh-pattern landed in my shopping bag at Sn@tch's last sale, come in pants- and underpants-layer and are even transfer, so if you want to gift them, they're really a nice addition not only to your clubbing wardrobe. You can pick from a great variety of motives and/or colours, from gothic to punk.

I paid Spider Productions a visit yesterday, and that's where my boots come from. Both textures and prim work are outstanding, and the buckle flaps can be made invisible via menu so you get an entirely different look. Unfortunately, there are no demos in store, but the boots are mod in case you need to make adjustments (and actually fit me well right ahead).
