Awake

The way the ground felt under her paws was still new for her and  the fact that she didn't hear her own movements also was. But it was what Elonie had wanted. Sometimes the scars still bleeded so she had wrapped cloth around her legs. The Pain she didn't mind at all. It kept her awake. The scars on her arms had the same function. When she was on watcher duty it was what gave her the right amount of adrenalin so that she was ready to fight. 
But this night seemed to be calm. Her urpy would warn her anyways if something would happen near her but this wasn't a reason for her to lack of caution, Elonie loved the little pet but she didn't want to depend on it.

Wasabi Pills takes part in the current round of fameshed. Their item is a cute haircut with a ponytail. The hair is very versatile and goes with modern outfits as well as with classic ones. The Cover My Furry Butt Hunt will end in two days. Enough time to get the wonderful Urpy for the neck from Booshies. It is a very cute pet and will most likely be very helpful in winter.
Pesca has meshtops with a floral pattern in the current round of the Zombie Popcorn brand. They are available in 4 colours and of course the pack contains them in the standard sizes.
It is rare to find very short cute skirts. This one from evolve is one of those. It is available in many colours. It is great for a punkish or cute look or for both.
Hysteria is a great store when it comes to unique and normal scars. Their current groupgift is called Suffer well and looks like leather bands being pulled through the skin on the upper arms. But they also got normal scars and bruises like the ones on the legs and the marks in the face are one of my favourite items from them.
Mirror's Enigma moved and they also released a new skin named Ira. It is available in three skintones and all of them with different makeups. The one on the picture is the version in Light and neutral. The very cute shape is made especially for this skin.
The weapons created by Messser & Co. are not only great when it comes to fighting they also look good. Like the throwing knives on the picture. They can be used in areas with CCS or Lindendamage.
The legwarmers from epic are also available in a version without paws and great for any urban being with digilegs.
Virtual/Insanity has so many cute accessories that it is hard to choose what to wear from them. One of their latest releases are the naboo claws. Those very long fingernails come also with a ring. They are great for roleplay characters and should fit to any gothic style.

Summer Lovin'... Depraved Style

Flique loved the summer. No more short days. No more long nights, shivering, nothing to do and nowhere to go in the chill of winter. The sun was out, the music was playing, Madonna's "Material Girl" and "True Blue" making the air quiver. The city's toes were all tapping, it was time to hit the streets. As she slipped on her retro cameo ring, and punk spiked cuff, she checked out her reflection in the mirror and posed. The perfect mix of sweetness and edge.

She heard the valves  being loosened on water hydrants, spraying cool water through the air, laughing voices, squealing with excitement added to the beat. Checking the blade in the strap on her thigh, Flique pulled on her high-tops and ran outside. Dancing along the road, she squeaked as a spray of water was sent her way by those playing in the sun, holding her blazer up high out of the way, she winked at them, turned to head off, all ready for the evening parties, she had to look good!

The day after dawned as bright and sunny as the one before... Flique's head hurt. The music and the pink champagne had carried her through the night, and back home, glimpses and flashes of memory, of the girls and the boys, all that sultry heat. Only one cure for this, she had to head to the beach. Slipping in to her cut off jean shorts, folding the turn-ups just so, she pulled the new top from her crammed wardrobe, its summer florals on black matching her mood, sunny, with darkness below. Throwing all she would need into her favourite bag, and slinging that over her shoulder, she took off for the beach. The salt air, and the sensation of warm sand between her toes made her feel alive. Soft strains of music wafted over the dunes, weaving between the palm trees, her favourite song. Time to go find who was playing it, and see if they had any sun lotion to share...

The Depraved Summer Love Hunt is on! To me, a lot of the items had a distinct 80's feel to them, which led to all the Madonna... These are some of my favourite items from the stores. This is a really nice skin, looks very youthful, it has built in tan lines, as though from a skimpy bikini. It also has the word 'love' pale on one cheek, as you can just about see in the first image.

Demon jokes

Although the furniture was old and the walls shabby was the club in the bunker one of the most exclusive ones in the city. Asura had absolutly no problems to be allowed to join.Some people thought that she the crown of spikes she had around her head would be a form of a stigmata. Asura always laughed when she read their minds. She was one of the mystical beings in the town. Or even more she was a demon. The story of Jesus had always amused her and she loved to tease the angels she met now and then so she had used spikes to make herself a crown of them. It worked well. It made angels so angry. Now and then they tried to attack her in the club. Asura always pretended to be massivly hurt so that the angels were thrown out. It was way to easy to manipulate humans, angels were way more fun.

Diapop created a black dress which reminds a bit on the fashion of the 1920s. The set contains black gloves and knee socks. It comes on all layers and the primparts are modifiable. I really like the bell like sleeves for the upper arms. The whole outfit looks very sophisticated in my opinion. Hysteria takes part in the Grunge Soul Project. Their item is a crown of spikes with a fitting tattoo layer, so that it looks like blood would be running out of the wounds the spikes cause.
The couch and the plate of fruits on it come from Libertine. Libertine is a subbrand of Fallen Gods Inc., which sells furniture, decorations and houses. The Couch belongs to the Marquis Set, which is the first Libertine release. It is included in an adult and a mature version. Up to four avatars can sit on the couch. The animations are, no matter if they are for sitting innocently around, cuddling or even closer contact, always well chosen. The couch also gives out several items, for examples grapes which can be used to feed the partner with them. Beside the great functionalty the furniture is very well designed. Hungry in School

It was very silent in the classroom. Half an hour ago it had been filled by the sounds of a class but then the teacher suddenly had to leave to have a talk with a mother, who was angry about her daughters marks, and he was so much in hurry that he forgot Emilia. And Emilia was always hungry. She belonged to a very old and feared family of hungerdemons and had not managed to transfer her hunger on others. So she constantly had the need to eat and unfortunatly she liked living flesh so much. Although she was not choosy when it came to food - her manners were perfect so she did not make any sounds while she started to eat through the rows. So the pupils in front of her did not realize what was going on behind them.

Most parents were shocked when they heared that Emilia would attend the school but all beings had to be treated equaly and after a huge donation the head of the school was quite willing to allow her to visit the school. The teachers were instructed to controll the young demon all the time. As only two or three pupils disappeared it seemed to work quite well. At least until the said mother came to complain about the marks of her daughter. She screamed so loud that the teacher's ear-drums were ruptured, as he told her that she would not need to worry anymore about marks as her daughter just had been eaten.

I still love the kitty galore claws from Virtual/Insanity. Those fingernails are very long and clawlike which makes them to wonderful items for roleplay characters. Its possible to tint them in several colours with the help of a menu and the set includes them in three sizes (10,20 and 30). The dress is the female gift from Bubblez Design in the 3rd Diamond Is Mine Hunt. Its a cute dress with as a polka dot pattern. All primparts, even the scarf, come with a resizescript so its easy to adjust them. The huntgift also includes a version of the outfit for men. For further informations about the hunt, which will start at the 18th. November, have a look at the huntsite. The scar in the face is of course an item from Hysteria. It looks a bit like a cut with a razorblade which has been sewed on a very simple and not well working way. Wasabi Pills released their Chloe hair now in all their colours. It comes with a hud which allows to colour the bands and stars of the pigtails and which also includes a resizing option. Its a very sweet hair which works very well at anime like looks. The skin comes from the Void Midnight Mania. It has a dark line in the middle of the face and the eyeshadow looks like it would be running down the cheeks. The skin comes with several eyebrow options, cleavage layer and even fitting elf ears.

Night hunt

People stayed in their houses in nights like this. Holly was one of the reasons why they did so. At the moment she was busy with stareing at the moon. She wouldn't transform in this night. Which was good. Hunting as fox was nice but sometimes she had chickenfeathers in her mouth when she transformed back. But this night she would be able to concentrate on her prey and not get distracted by all kinds of birds which might cross her path. She curled her red lips to a grin when she remembered the man she had hunted in the night before. He had carried a chicken in a bag which he threw in her direction. The memory of his wide open eyes when recognizing that the chicken did not intrest her at all made her lick over her lips and her heartbeat became faster. This night she would just hunt for fun. Holly hoped that everything would work as she planed it so that she would finally get the bully who always pestered some of the younger pupils in school. She tried to get him for several months now but it seemed like he never left the house in the night. But this night he would. The preparation of this night hadn t be too much fun. Tight tops, short skirts and boots which had so high heels that she needed all her supernatural powers to be able to walk on an elegant way in them. But Sebastian was not able to resist the idea of meeting her in the night. They would have so much fun together.

When it comes to intresting wounds and scars Hysteria is one of my favourite stores. But they also have tattoos. This stomach one says "to be goth is a lifestyle not a trend" which is a great idea as a tattoo is something you normaly have your whole life. The top belongs to the chod collection from Miamai. I love the patterns and the unusual sleeves with the lace. The cut is lightly asymetric.
The hair comes from Wasabi Pills. It is ccs scripted hair. So it contains some fighting animations and works as weapon in any collision based fight system. The scripter told me it works with dcs, ccs, osiris, lcrs, rcs, nh, ura and that there will be soon gorean meter version. It works with the usual /1 draw /1 sheath commands and then like any mêlée weapon. The hair looks like a very long braid and has some loose streaks at the front and the side of the head. Its unisex and looks of course great on both genders. For those who are not into fighting there is also a version available which only contains a resizescript. The weaponversion of course also comes with a resizescript. So that no warrior needs to try to redo his or her hair with bloody hands.
I used some of my favourite trousers from a:s:s to complete the look and boots from death row designs.

Mature Dreams

Elvira was happy. She had not supposed that she would be able to pass the test. But surprisingly enough she didn't fail at all. Now she was allowed to show her ears in public. It was a test all had to pass if they wanted to be seen as mature. The easy part was answering a bunch of questions about the history of the society of dream. But then it became tricky. They had to create a dream. Elvira had hoped that she would get the task to create a beautiful dream. She was known for having some talent for those dreams.

But instead of this she got the task she did not want at all. Creating a nightmare. This was the moment when she was sure that she would fail. First she thought about monsters, tentacles, thin hairy legs with clawed feet. But the time she had been given to design the dream was to short to create scary sounds so she decided to improvise. The dream she created was one of the most horrible ones which had been ever created. It was about waking, getting ready for work, going to work, working, going back home, watching a boring tv-show, going to bed. Everyday for the rest of the dreamers life. None of the testers wanted that the dream would ever be used. But they kept it hidden in a safe. Just in case that they would need to torture somebody.

Wasabi Pills released new hair which is available in two versions. Its called Kiki. The haircut looks like a bob which is a bit more feathery at the tips. There is one version which has two long streaks at the front and one without the streaks like on the picture. As all hair from Wasabi Pills it is available in many colours and has a resizescript. When owning some more hair from this store fitting hair becomes really comfy and easy as normaly it is possible to use the same values to make the hair fit, as they seem to be built in the same size. The ears are the Depraved Urban Wreckage Hunt gift from gauged. The hunt includes a lot of great stores for more informations its worth to take a look at the huntwebsite. They are amazingly easy to tint and the button in the earlobe can be textured in several ways. The gift includes a hud for tinting and texturing. The gothy dress comes from Aliza Karu. The system parts come on the jacket, trouser and glove layer. The prim parts do not include a resize script but it wasn't tricky in my opinion to make them fit my avatar. I like the collar with the lace and the lacing in the front very much. It might look very nice with other outfits for example combined with a short dress which does not cover the shoulders. The bleeding nose is a facetattoo from hysteria and the eyes come of course from Sterling Artistry.

Sometimes I read Avatars in Motion. Its my favourite second life travel blog. So I found Alice: Madness Returns where I took the pictures for this blogpost. The poses come from DARE but this store is closed so they are most likely not available anymore.

Black Veins

Ellina was stunned by the butterflies around her. The battle had been massive and it was clear that her army would not win at the end. The spell the wizzard in the purple robe had casted had been too massive. She had seen her knights fall off their horses. And she had been hit by the spell too. She was able to feel the movements of it under her skin. It was crawling through her veins. Her blood slowly turned black and she knew it. Luckily her magician also knew what was happening to her and had opened a portal to push her to a place where she could heal and would be not in danger at the same time. Ellina had no clue what would happen to her army and her lands while she was not around.

But the butterflies were so nice. And the lands looked so peaceful. She started to explore the island. The grass was so thick that her armored feet did not sink into the ground. Soon she started to love the place. It was just pretty. She drank water from waterfalls, spend time laying in the sun and swam. The black lines in her face started to disappear. After a while she started to wonder. Did her magician survive the battle? How would she get back?

The new Helmets from Wasabi Pills are just gorgeous. They come in a set which contains a dark and a light version of them. Both of those versions are contained in a version wich hair and one without hair - so that you could either wear them with your hair or on a bald head or with hair which looks perfect with them. The included hair has a colourscript so its possible just to pick the colour you like best or fits best to your outfit. Of course the helmets have a resizescript as well. The armor comes also from Wasabi Pills. Its the female version of the Khalon Armor. It could be worn either with the full body covered or in a way which leaves the stomach uncovered. The primparts all have a resize script too. The creator of the helmets and the armor sculpted all the prims herself. I love how fantastic they look. The face-tattoo is from Hysteria and a great roleplay item.

More than Virtual Insanity

Virtual/Insanity always had very nicely build stores. Some weeks ago their sim got rebuilt and their store is lovely but they added a little mall which is of course also lovely. The whole sim looks very peaceful and is a good place to take pictures too.
The stores on the sim all create unique items. There is of course Virtual/Insanity with their mix of items which either cute or alternative or both. They have alot jewlery, great primnails, bags and much more. It is possible to create nearly a whole avatar at the bada bing sim. Sweet'n'Tart sell skins and clothing. For example this skin. It is called under the sea and fits to mermaids as well as to people who simply enjoy a massive makeup. The skin comes with a tattoo for the body which has similar patterns as the make-up in the face and of course the same colours. The piercing in the face comes from Virtual/Insanity and the ears from Shitz n Gigglessss. The gems on the ears are tintable and the ears themself are tintable as well of course.

The black top is available at Loulou & Co. It is also sold in other colours. Of course it comes on all layers. The bag is also from Virtual/Insanity.

This picture has been taken on the roof of Virtual/Insanity. The jacket, which comes with a resizescript is an other item from Shitz n Gigglessss. The facetattoo comes from Hysteria. This one looks like there would be black colour in the veins. The set also includes a red version of it. Hysteria is a great store for scars and similar items. Its perfect for roleplayers who got hurt in a battle because there they will find what they need to let their avatar look wounded.
