Valkyrie - Ember's Cauldron Shopping Event

“Hlanhildur, Daughter of the Gods”. A warrior maiden, a divine being, whose noble duty is to select and bring her chosen heroes, killed in battle, to Valhalla. Yet, when she joined the group of Valkyrie apprentices, nobody told her openly about the race of the heroes she would accompany to the table of Odin. She just presumed they would be human. When Hlanhildur finished her Valkyrie training her first mission was to fly to a battlefield in darkest Dwarfheim, and bring back the soul of the bravest... bear, that fell while defending his homeland from the invading dwarves. Hlanhildur sighed. Today was the day of the great battle between the High Elves and Dragons... and she was not ordered to choose the soul of an Elven warrior.

Love in the mists

They were of the mists...

They would be everywhere, part of everyone and everything. Steam rising, dew forming, tides rolling, and rivers flowing. Under the moon, the sea fret formed. As did they. They emerged from vapour just as they had entered it, coming together in a never ending embrace. Moon and starlight gave them substance, to last only as long as the night. They were poured into a well of feeling, had only to take care not to drown. In these brief hours they could step from the water onto even the driest of lands, puddles forming in their wake, evaporating just as they, with the dawn.

World Goth Fair 2014 - Dark Wings

She landed in an unknown realm, wet and dark... which she found pleasant and unpleasant at the same time. She adored darkness, it was her natural element... but all that rain? She shivered as she felt her black feathers were already glued together. How should she fly now, and stalk her prey? Yet, she knew she had no other choice whatsoever. The Dark Lord was her commander and she was to obey his orders, no matter what. She shivered for a second longer, then she clicked her talons and spread her heavy black wings. The hunt for the lost soul was on.

It had been a long time, and she had been hiding beneath the earth. Hiding from others and herself. There was no need to think when buried so deep, and very little else to do but think - and sleep. So she had slept, and hidden, hidden and slept, covered by the earth through warmth of summer and fall of autumn. Now winter had come, chill penetrating the earth, icy fingers of Jack Frost tickling along her spine, beckoning her back to the surface, to play in the ice and snow.

Christmas had passed, but magic and merriment still hung over the world, steaming in clouds of fog from the mouths of drunks staggering from each tavern and bar. The new year was yet to break, and this night would be the longest and darkest for centuries. She emerged with the stars, by their distant light she pulled on ruby red skates, glittering and glinting. As the eclipse covered the moon, the only glow would come from the lights wrapped around her skating and sliding across the icy river.

Sure the Hotel is a bit down at heel, a little shabby around the edges. You can't expect a place with a reputation like this to get so many guests as to warrant everything being kept like new. 

Times were hard in this part of town, but even here, the management had decided that it just would not be reasonable to charge room costs to the accounts of those never seen again after visiting room 326...

 

Welcome to another marvellous MadPeas Event! This is a grid wide novella, letting you into a dark world of long corridors, thickly carpeted to deaden any screams. Fifteen missing people, fifteen locations for you to search for an envelope, something you will hear each received shortly before their disappearance at the hotel.
Just make your way to the Silent Peacock Hotel, and buy a newspaper (50L$ for your game HUD) from one of the dispensers by the front doors.

Escaping Thoughts

A bird softly hit the window after some few moments it found the opening and managed to escape. More were allready escaping her brush. This meant it was time again. She should go back to work. If she didn t put them onto paper or an other material the things she had in her fingers escaped. At the moment it were only birds but she remembered the bread which had escaped very well. It tried to pose on a rock and it took quite a while until she managed to catch it. The birds would only confuse some biologiests and this was something she didn't mind at all. The latest round of Zombie Popcorn brand started today. The mesh dress by Epic is one of the items which is being sold there. It is available in four colours and each of them contains five sizes of the dress. It can be mixed easily with other items to go for a more grunge like style when combining it with battle boots and wristbands or when using sweeter accessories it fits great to a girlish look.
The idea of beings escaping a brush is just lovely. It comes from DownDownDown and is being sold at the gallery gift store. It is also the anniversary of this very cute event. So there is currently a hunt going on.
The hair is a hairfair release by wasabi pills. It reminds a bit on their teeloh hair but this one has a braid instead of open hair. The hairband can be tinted with the help of a hud.
Losthaven is an amazing store when it comes to clothes and more for roleplay. For example the armwraps on the picture. They can be mod (the set includes a version for guys and one for girls) and come in several colours. The brilliance of items from this stores is grounded by how versatile everything is. The armwraps go as well for postapocalyptic roleplay as well as for medivial storylines.
The make up was an item in a previous event and comes from Sweet Antidote, the boots are available at Death Row Designs.

Dust

Dust. It hurt his eyes so much that they already appeared as red. Luckily he had found the facemask in one of the left houses on his way. It was only one hour to walk but he had not managed to foresee the change in weather. Else he would have worn more protection against the weather. But so he had to deal with it. The weather had been like this now for some time. And it was good that it was like it was. It made the humans leave. He didn't care where they went he only wanted them to go. The amount of magic which had been needed to change the weather had been giant. And he knew that it would cost him maybe one or two centuries when the elders decided to change the weather back to a more pleasant one again. But there had been nobody who wasn't willing to donate lifetime. Even the oldest who only had some decades to life used those. It had been centuries ago that they all worked together like this but the long time away from sunlight had made them willing to pay the tribute for realizing the only plan they saw as promising to get out of their caves, in which they had been living now for ages.
And it was a well prepared plan. They even had collected plants on the surface and would take care for them until everything under the sunlight turned into a dessert. He was glad not to be one of the gardeners. It was nicer to be one of those who controlled that the humans were really leaving. The elders had been frightened that humans would use their magic against the elven magic but it seemed like they had forgotten it for a long time.

Although doing it takes a long time Sanity Falls is an awesome hunt. To take part in it its needed to buy a hud for 100 Lindens. After this you teleport to Sanity Falls and start to search for hints for your kidnapped wife. There are 50 posters to find of her and on each of those posters is a phonenumber. This number needs to be called and you get a hint where to find money to pay the ransom for her. The money always comes with a first huntgift of one of the 50 participating stores. After collecting all the money there is an end riddle to solve and then you get an other huntgift from each of the participating stores. So at the end you get 100 gifts from 50 stores which makes a Linden for every huntgift which is not very expensive especially in comparison with the quality of the gifts. The hunt is also one of the rare ones which have a lot of huntgifts for males. Its even possible to get several new outfits for a male avatar in it.
The facemask is the ending prize from Hooligan, it can be resized and looks great. Its also an item which goes very well in roleplay. The trousers from chandelle are an other gift from the end of the hunt. They are unisex and very well textured. Its always good to have some boots so the gift from Death Row Designs is useful. Beside of looking good there are also some bloody knives attached to it which makes it to an other roleplay item. The boots come in a version with and one without resize script.
The meshshirt and the jacket aren't huntgifts. They come from the Breath luckyboard. The meshshirt is only the part which is worn over the longsleeve. The set includes two versions of the jacket which is worn around the hips. One with opensleeves and one with the sleeves knoted in front like on the picture.
The hair comes from Wasabi Pills. Its really surprising how different the hair can look depending on the clothes combined with it.
The picture has been taken on one of the Wasteland sims. Those are amazing post apocalyptic sims. The pose on it comes from Purple Poses. They have a lot of men poses there and sell them for the same price as their female ones.

Cookie Spy

The heat was nearly not bearable anymore but Ella was not willing to take off her gloves with the pretty decorations around her arms. She was now for a while in the city but still she hadn't met the guy she needed to contact about the news. So she did not want that anybody could see the implants she had in her arms. But of course all could see the strings in her face. Luckily they supposed that it would be only makeup. But she used them to send messages. So she sat regularly at the beach and stared to the sea the lines in her face glowing in turns. Sending messages about the quality of cookies to the cookie mafia.

Elly is in the current round of items at zombie popcornbrand. They made a shirt for it which says "I survived the apocalypse and all I got was this fucking T-Shirt". It comes on all layers and there is also a plain version without the text included. The bird on the wire makeup comes from Captivity Co. a store I thought which would have only great poses but they also make intresting make-ups and clothes. At the Virtual Insanity sim is at the moment a sale called "November Breeze" going on. The asia choker with the red pendant is in that sale but there are many more items. As Virtual/Insanity is a great store for accessories its worth to use the chance to visit the sale. The very cute shorts and the gloves with the wristdecorations come from a store with the name *CULTO*. I found it some days ago and their items are all very cute. The pants come on the trouser layer. There are four versions of the pants included in the set, with a white or with a black string and each of those with a normal and a lowrise cut. The prim parts are included in a version with and one without resizescript. The gloves with the wristbands are available in many colours and just lovely. Their primparts also contain a resizescript.

Zombie Strippers

It had been the fairies who managed that all creatures got equal rights. They had felt discriminated by the other kins and unfortunatly they found an advocate who thought that it would be entertaining to help them. The lawyers were the only race which really liked the results of the no discrimination against any race act. They had more work than ever. Now it was possible that fairies could work as butchers and some trolls managed to get into the ballet as dancers (the stage broke under their weight and they found a giant treasure under it). Mister Smith was quite glad that no trolls applied to work as strippers but then there were the zombies.

When they aplied he did not know what to say. Of course they had really good shapes but their skin wasn't that good. But unfortunatly bad skin and many wounds belonged to the typical looks of zombies so he could not use that as reason not to hire them. It was the same with their moves. So he had to hire them. First he tried only to pay them so that they would not dance but one of the lawyers found out about it and forced him to let them dance. Those lawyers really were not able not to stick their nose into everything. Now he let the zombies dance in the afternoon. After that the club normaly needed to be cleaned they never managed to understand that they were allowed to throw their clothes away and not their limbs.

The fortune teller found his way back to Fallen Gods Inc. and brought Zombie skins. The pack contains a version for guys and two for females (with superboobs and with normal ones). The set also contains stripper bikinis in a male and a female version. But those also can be won in several colours at the fallen gods Lucky chair. The ones from the lucky chair are no copy but trans so its possible to give the ones you win twice to friends or to give the male ones to your boyfriend or the female ones to your girlfriend and so on. Those stripper clothes work of course with normal skins too.
The boots come from death row design. The hair he wears is sold at Madesigns. The hair on her is one of the latest releases from Wasabi Pills. The colour of the spikes and the hairband can be changed and of course the hair has a resizescript.
By the way its always nice to spend time at the Fallen Gods fortune teller. The people there are very funny and nice and if there is nobody its enough to ask for help in the groupchat. Then normaly people come around and help.

Voodoo

The lunar phase was perfect. Xylia had spend some nights on building the voodoo doll. The spells would have worked as well at an other time but being able to use the full power of the moon was of course better. For the ritual she allready had put some blood into her face. Now she only needed to wait for the night.

The 5th round of the zombie popcorn hunt started yesterday and as always the prices are amazing. The green hair comes from Iren. It has a resize script and the cut is nice. Belote has the dress with the fitting stockings as huntgift. It comes on several layers. Virtual Insanity made a piercing for the lip which has pretty textures. The skin is a huntgift from the Plastik in the macabre hunt which ends today. There is also a male skin in the gift and the female one comes with several cleavage options. The set also contains blood on the tattoo layer. The tattoo on the neck is the gift from Needful Things. The boots are available at death row designs. Epic made this very cute Voodoo doll backpack.

Night hunt

People stayed in their houses in nights like this. Holly was one of the reasons why they did so. At the moment she was busy with stareing at the moon. She wouldn't transform in this night. Which was good. Hunting as fox was nice but sometimes she had chickenfeathers in her mouth when she transformed back. But this night she would be able to concentrate on her prey and not get distracted by all kinds of birds which might cross her path. She curled her red lips to a grin when she remembered the man she had hunted in the night before. He had carried a chicken in a bag which he threw in her direction. The memory of his wide open eyes when recognizing that the chicken did not intrest her at all made her lick over her lips and her heartbeat became faster. This night she would just hunt for fun. Holly hoped that everything would work as she planed it so that she would finally get the bully who always pestered some of the younger pupils in school. She tried to get him for several months now but it seemed like he never left the house in the night. But this night he would. The preparation of this night hadn t be too much fun. Tight tops, short skirts and boots which had so high heels that she needed all her supernatural powers to be able to walk on an elegant way in them. But Sebastian was not able to resist the idea of meeting her in the night. They would have so much fun together.

When it comes to intresting wounds and scars Hysteria is one of my favourite stores. But they also have tattoos. This stomach one says "to be goth is a lifestyle not a trend" which is a great idea as a tattoo is something you normaly have your whole life. The top belongs to the chod collection from Miamai. I love the patterns and the unusual sleeves with the lace. The cut is lightly asymetric.
The hair comes from Wasabi Pills. It is ccs scripted hair. So it contains some fighting animations and works as weapon in any collision based fight system. The scripter told me it works with dcs, ccs, osiris, lcrs, rcs, nh, ura and that there will be soon gorean meter version. It works with the usual /1 draw /1 sheath commands and then like any mêlée weapon. The hair looks like a very long braid and has some loose streaks at the front and the side of the head. Its unisex and looks of course great on both genders. For those who are not into fighting there is also a version available which only contains a resizescript. The weaponversion of course also comes with a resizescript. So that no warrior needs to try to redo his or her hair with bloody hands.
I used some of my favourite trousers from a:s:s to complete the look and boots from death row designs.

Unicorn without horn

It was always horrible when Sandri forgot where her favourite being was. It made her feel lost and sad. She would not be able to eat any cookies until she would have phant back. The worst was always when she was all desperate her blood started to turn black and it tinted the veins so that her skin wasn't as pale as usually.

Sandri was a unicorn and was currently treated for drug addiction so she felt anyways often sad and exhausted. She had found her way from the fairy lands into the world of the humans by mistake and as most spiritual beings she did not enjoy her time there at all. Until she met a witch who offered her a drug which would help her to deal with humans.

First the price she had to pay to get the drug was bearable. The witch wanted some of her hair or a bit of blood. Sandri had no problem to pay with those things but of course she became more and more addicted to the drug. It did not only help her to deal with humans it also made her feel great and it was like she would be in the fairylands again. Finally the witch asked Sandri to pay with her horn for the drug. The unicorn first did not want to pay that price but after a week without the week she would have given also a hoof just to feel as great as with the drug. So she lost her horn. After this the witch was not intrested in selling her any more drugs as Sandri had sold all she had. Members of the supernatural rescue squad found her under a bridge where she had been searching for a troll who might be willing to kill and eat her and brought her to an asylum. She was not happy there but the other sick beings were supernaturals like her so it was a bit easier. And she had phant whom she had forgotten on a bench while watching the stars in the night luckily he had stayed there so she was able to find him again.

Hoo are currently moving to a new store and have some cute new stuff on their lucky chairs. For example those ears and the hooves. Both are mod and cute. The hooves include the hooves in three furcolours and the socks can be tinted with a menu. The tails are also from hoo and of course also mod. Death Row Designs has normaly great items on their midnight mania. The Dark Angel outfit is one of those. It comes with several layers and is very well textured. The Goggles are currently a groupgift at Contraption. Their groupgifts are only available for three days so its best to hurry as it will be only available for one more day. The goggles come in a worn version and one to wear them in the hair. The item has an resizescript. The details of it are amazing and there are patterns in the leatherband of the goggles.

It's all in the eyes

They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul and these eyes are certainly have a lot to say but whose soul are they the window to? Well it's certainly correct to say that eyes are very important when it comes to your avatars look. It's often a part that many overlook, or find one pair that they like and stick with them but I think that's such a shame especially when there are so many fantastic eyes around even though I have a vast amount of eyes I love to collect more. Somehow these eyes seem to make me look quite sultry- nice :)

 It's just as well I have sultry eyes as they add to my little saucepot look. The top and skirt are both from Sakide and much skimpier than I am used to wearing but I couldn't help but adore these items they're cool a little flirty and I like the detail. With the skirt it's the belt and the top I just love the teasing nature of the fallen straps.

Puppeteer

The puppets were most likely the oldest things in the theatre. Anastasia had inherited them from her mother who had gotten them from her mother and so on. It was not exactly clear how old they were. Of course sometimes they got new clothes but the wooden parts were ancient. Anastasia knew that she would only have one child which would be female and that her daugher would become a puppeteer as well. Other people had choices but none of the women of her family would ever have the choice to decide which job they would have. But they made choices for others. She only needed to play something with her puppets and it became true. If she would have been lazy she could just have played that she would be hired in theatres to play there but her shows were extraordinary. Nobody who had seen one was able to forget it. And now and then somebody found his or her true love in her shows.
Contraption takes part in the macabre hunt. They have even two huntgifts the uniform on the picture is the one for females. It comes with two puppets to hold in the hands and a pair of flying puppets which follow the avatar who owns them. The prim parts are mod. To make the part with the sleeves fit I had to edit the single prims as the size limits for some of them seemed to be reached but this was not a problem. The texturing and sculpting is of course wonderfully done. This is especially visible at the puppets which look very unique and cute.
The boots come from death row designs midnight mania. They are great to fight with others and also perfect when having dancing classes as it won't hurt when the dancing partner steps onto your feet when you wear those boots.

She was the best chemist in town and a vampire. Of course she could have done the whole good vampire thing. Helping humans to be able to deal with those of her kin. But that was way too boring in her opinion. And she wanted freshblood not the stuff the "good" vampires got from hospitals. So she used her talents to create drugs for humans. It was so lovely when they were finally addicted and willing to do anything just to get more of her creations.

Death Row Designs has these awesome boots in their midnight mania at the moment. They are loose and look like they could be used for walking in the mountains or for hard physical work. The boots have a resizescript and are unisex. The shirt and the trousers are the gift for guys from LL Creations and Cudola in the twisted hunt. Because of the shading the t-shirt also fits women. Its the same with the jeans.
