Stand out in pixels

Indeed  isn't that what we want to do, stand out in the pixels! make your fashion statement, that's the most wonderful thing about SL fashion. We don't have to worry about body hang ups or what's appropriate for age and as such can wear absolutely anything we like!

I'm totally into these new 'jeggings' at Love - not quite jeans, not really leggings but they're fabulously tight and can be worn on their own or under a skirt as jeans or as leggings - great!

Now here are some freebie gifts that you simply must grab. It's all in the eyes

They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul and these eyes are certainly have a lot to say but whose soul are they the window to? Well it's certainly correct to say that eyes are very important when it comes to your avatars look. It's often a part that many overlook, or find one pair that they like and stick with them but I think that's such a shame especially when there are so many fantastic eyes around even though I have a vast amount of eyes I love to collect more. Somehow these eyes seem to make me look quite sultry- nice :)

 It's just as well I have sultry eyes as they add to my little saucepot look. The top and skirt are both from Sakide and much skimpier than I am used to wearing but I couldn't help but adore these items they're cool a little flirty and I like the detail. With the skirt it's the belt and the top I just love the teasing nature of the fallen straps.

These boots!!  which are on a Midnight mania board at Death row designs are a fantastic unisex item. It was Dagmar that brought them to my attention and I'm so glad she did! Dagmar also blogged the boots HERE.

Shoes shoes shoes!

My favourite shoe designer Goran Osterham Of Skifija has just released some fabulous new shoes 'Mistress serpents' which I want to gush about for so many reasons. It's a totally unique sculpt, the quality is amazing, attention to  detail is fabulous but a culmination of all these things paired with the fact he gives you a hud with every pair of shoes that enables you so many options it's just incredible and makes for a rather special mix - hence why I am such a fan!

At first I said to Goran don't bamboozle us with so many options! his reply was that yes it might seem a little overwhelming at first but once you start to play you will love! and he was so right I did start to play and couldn't stop. Basically Goran sells you a pair of shoes that will adapt to any outfit. You'll always be able to get the colour perfect! I have to say that my favourite feature of the hud is 'the shiny' I love the glossy look that you can achieve with this. I know I'm such a magpie! shiny demonstration below.



To coincide with the new release of the Mistress Serpents shoes Goran has reduced the price of some other items in store - not that he really needs to as the prices are so unbelievably reasonable anyway.

Disco Inferno!

With the Disco hunt well underway what better opportunity than now to be a bit of a disco diva and shake your stuff on the dance floor!  The hunt kicked off on the 15th September and runs for a month -  Slurls and hints can be found HERE.

This hunt has a 70's based disco theme and there are an assortment of items including a dance floor, poses, furniture, jewelry & many 'groovy' (ahem sorry) outfits for men & women. The hunt object to look for is a disco ball. See below for a sample of my favs.

Happy Birthday American Bazaar

American Bazaar is celebrating it's first year Birthday and to do so have decided to do a hunt. The American Bazaar birthday hunt (ABBH) is in full swing the list of participating stores and hints can be found HERE. It will be hunt is on until 30Th September and is going for a glam theme for the celebrations.

 I dearly love this pretty little cocktail number which is 22769's hunt prize. There is also male outfit included in this prize. As soon as I saw the dress I wanted to do a vintage theme with it. The colour is vibrant and fresh, it's kind of a Raspberry tone. I particularly like the shape of the skirt, how it cascades with folds of fabric and a pretty net underskirt layer.

To complete the rest of the look I hopped along to JetDoll which in my opinion has the best Vintage range in SL to pick up the glasses and hair, and the fabulous shoes are from In her shoes.  The skin  is from Jesylilo who is also participating in the hunt but this skin is not the prize it just happens to be one of my favourite skins and goes really well with this look.

Yet more pink!

It's easy to create a look that you love with so many great designs out there, I love to see how other people put outfits together too. When i'm out & about shopping I often see people and think wow that look is so cool! that's what I love most about SL the creative freedom that it gives you.

My inspiration for this look was from a an image I saw with a kaleidoscope of varying tones of the same colour. Pinks & purples I love and so it was natural for me to adore this skirt  - a new release at J.E.M It's  has this great satin effect to it  - yes I'll have the teal one too if you don't mind!

 I've been desperate to get these shoes on since I picked them up from Fir & Mna at the fifty linden friday event which I knew instantly that I wanted to wear with these tights that I grabbed at the store amato that I told you about in my last post - see I told you there was some great things to be had there!

It's always  tricky and often too late to blog the flf items as that but I always list their current price after the event. Guess what?,  I went back to check and the shoes are still available at 50L so get down there a.s.a.p there are black & red in both men & womens sizes ...what are you waiting for?! go!

Barefooting

Just on my regular quest for great quality fabulous bargains I came across a little store called amato,  a little freebie/dollarbie store where I picked up these amazing shorts and eyes (take a closer peek at the peepers below). There are other items for men & women, but I especially like the eye selection.

I dropped in on one of my regulars, The Fashion Garret where i've discovered some of my favourites designers. I never seem to be able to leave that place without buying something! and of course I grabbed this great group gift but also this divine hair by Angel hair, and if you haven't already grabbed the latest fantastic group gift at Coco then go grab this barefeet now they're a definite must have!

Lazy summer days

I took a tip and trotted off to this fabulous sim which is currently having a mini hunt it's The where it begins Flea market. There are some stalls set up with bargain great items on offer and a nice little hunt on the sim (you're looking for little strawberries).

It's such a pretty sim that I decided to take a picture there and since you are able to rez there too I rezzed this cute little chair which is one of the hunt prizes. It seems such an ideal place to take a picture of this very pretty little summer dress from Villena which is a fantastic bargain, you have to love this store! and for my second bargain of the day - get a load of this gorgeous skin from Jesylilo which has the most beautiful tones for the grunge soul project! love the grunge soul project, which by the way if you have not heard of it has a male and female section so go check it out everyone!

Gender change challenge

Having a little chat this morning, Dagmar  commented on how she had managed to make a male avatar for  0L and wondered if others may enjoy the challenge of doing the same. Peacock lady

 After that beautiful silver bedroom suite that I blogged I fancied a great big splash of colour, and what better than this delicious bedroom suite. The bed is only shown here but the set has a wonderful canopy over the bed, chairs, shelves, table, lamp & rug. Of course when I needed a texture for the walls I thought of none other than [K.O] and I wasn't disappointed! Just when I was thinking of a colourful outfit, I get a message from dear Storm who knows I love a bargain, reminded me of the fabulous creations of Yips so I tp'd over immediately and picked up this amazing peacock outfit. Well then only one thing left to do, pick a skin to match , so this new skin (pale version) from Jesylilo just fit the bill! I love these juicy looking lips!

Fresh faced for spring

Is it about time you organized your inventory, In order to  push aside those dark drab winter colours & introduce some fresh airy light springtime colours? well I certainly think so! I adore this this pretty feminine outfit, The dress  and comes in a range of beautiful pastel colours, but this green happens to be my personal favourite. It goes great with this pretty lacy bolero jacket does have an extra prim bottom which I removed for this outfit.

 Loving the skin for a fresh pretty feminine look with the  liquid eyeliner effect which I definitely favour! Oh and lets not forget these pretty sparkly eyes which have tiny flecks of pink in love it! you really must check out this eye store! so overall I'm rather pleased with my girly look.
