Splish Splash

Down the rain came. Late November, but it was warm enough under the storm clouds that gathered over the city, keeping the heat of its inhabitants and industry in. Even the drops of rain that streamed down were not enough to chill those who headed out there with the intention of enjoying the experience. Separating them, with their squeals and shouts, jumping and splashing, from those who hurried along, avoiding puddles and grumbling about the weather...

Isolde and Vyl were most definitely in the former group. One called her new shoes gumboots, the other, wellies, but they had to be taken out for some fun and games, as soon as the first storm of autumn rolled in.

Waterproof and bouncy, they kept their feet dry, even though the rest of them was soaked to the skin by the rain. To those wrapped up in coats and hats, with umbrellas blowing about in the gale, this seemed like utter madness. Perhaps they still found, somewhere deep within, the spark of joy that came from youth, when they too had jumped in puddles, or it may have been smothered entirely over the years by a need to dress correctly, and not be silly. Those who still splished and splashed knew nothing of this little death. Joined suddenly in the rain by Mzzy, friend and wellymagnate, the three jumped for joy at the silliness of it all, cavorting through the rain.

Divine Blues

She used to be a member of the Sapphire Tribe, she remembered that very well. Many, many aeons before her world had been vivid, happy and busy… she could hear the voices of men and women and children every evening she climbed up on top of the Tower, in order to taste a bit of everyday life before she had to commence night service, as usual. She had been taken from her family in order to serve the Goddess at the tender age of a hundred and fifty years… oh yes, she still remembered the excruciating pain. Her mother and siblings had been inconsolable… or so she thought, as she hadn’t talked to them any more. Rubbing shoulders with „ordinary” folk wasn’t permitted to the Selected One. 

She was carefully educated by the Elders, and after five hundred years of apprenticeship she was allowed to raise the Moon all alone for the first time. She still got goosebumps at the memory of that very special night. Then… something went wrong. Slowly, yet without any doubt whatsoever. At first, she noticed that the evening buzz and humming and chattering of the city became weaker day by day. People just disappeared from the streets, the murmuring sounds seemed to grow dimmer, and dimmer yet. Then, one evening… all she could hear from the Tower was silence. 

She was shocked… but she remembered she had taken a solemn oath to serve the Goddess and raise the Moon each and every night, until Death decided to come for her. She was alone, her only company were the memories and the ghosts of the past, yet she climbed up on top of the Tower, and silently whispered an ancient prayer before she touched the chilly globe. „Raise, Moon, and spread your rays... I shall always be here to welcome you when your duty is done.”

FallnAngel at Fashion for life

More deliciousness from the Fashion for life event and this time it's from FallnAngel creations. I love a bit of costumery from time to time and none more so that a big fancy bustle, so the Victorian feel of the Anna gown is right up my street, the kimono's too,I'm sure you'll agree are pretty exquisite.

For a little extra drama I decided to wear skins from Matrioska doll skins which is a subsidiary of blue blood. There are 3 tones to opt for with each skin, and a tattoo make layer to add for extra dramatic effect, so here's the blurb if you like what you see.....

Zombie Strippers

It had been the fairies who managed that all creatures got equal rights. They had felt discriminated by the other kins and unfortunatly they found an advocate who thought that it would be entertaining to help them. The lawyers were the only race which really liked the results of the no discrimination against any race act. They had more work than ever. Now it was possible that fairies could work as butchers and some trolls managed to get into the ballet as dancers (the stage broke under their weight and they found a giant treasure under it). Mister Smith was quite glad that no trolls applied to work as strippers but then there were the zombies.

When they aplied he did not know what to say. Of course they had really good shapes but their skin wasn't that good. But unfortunatly bad skin and many wounds belonged to the typical looks of zombies so he could not use that as reason not to hire them. It was the same with their moves. So he had to hire them. First he tried only to pay them so that they would not dance but one of the lawyers found out about it and forced him to let them dance. Those lawyers really were not able not to stick their nose into everything. Now he let the zombies dance in the afternoon. After that the club normaly needed to be cleaned they never managed to understand that they were allowed to throw their clothes away and not their limbs.

The fortune teller found his way back to Fallen Gods Inc. and brought Zombie skins. The pack contains a version for guys and two for females (with superboobs and with normal ones). The set also contains stripper bikinis in a male and a female version. But those also can be won in several colours at the fallen gods Lucky chair. The ones from the lucky chair are no copy but trans so its possible to give the ones you win twice to friends or to give the male ones to your boyfriend or the female ones to your girlfriend and so on. Those stripper clothes work of course with normal skins too.
The boots come from death row design. The hair he wears is sold at Madesigns. The hair on her is one of the latest releases from Wasabi Pills. The colour of the spikes and the hairband can be changed and of course the hair has a resizescript.
By the way its always nice to spend time at the Fallen Gods fortune teller. The people there are very funny and nice and if there is nobody its enough to ask for help in the groupchat. Then normaly people come around and help.

Searching for Esra

Sira and Nestor were used to the fact that Esra disappeared now and then. They all were siblings and had all the same training but Esra was a bit older than her sister and her brother. And, which was way more important than an age difference of 100 years, she loved risks way more than Sira and Nestor did. Now she had disappeared again and Sira was supposing the worst when she found a note about Esra's destination. She had been called to make an ancient machine on a distant island work again. After a long journey Sira and Nestor managed to find the island and they also found Esra but the fingers of one of her hand were missing.

From 24th Oct. to 1st Nov. the Sanguine Noir Adventure hunt will take place at 22769. To gain the huntgifts the hunters will need to help Esra to get her fingers back which are spread all over the sim. But this help is rewarded very well with two complete outfits one for women and one for men. For men its a suit which fitting hat and boots. The sleeves of the jacket are opened, so the soft sleeves of the shirt under it are visible. The trousers and the jacket are covered with flower patterns. The dress for women fits perfectly to the one for the men so the sanguine noir hunt is a good way to get fitting outfits for a costume party. Women also get a hat and highheeled boots. The primparts on the female and the male outfit are mod. The 22769 sim is allready decorated for halloween so a hunt for fingers will be just creepy.
