Some had said death was the end... There were even songs written about it. Others knew better, and of course, now there had been some songs written about that too. The Reaper was not someone to fear. The transition wasn't always pleasant, and the food took a bit of getting used to, but still...

Out in the backwoods, she was away from one spotlight, the one she had chased in her life before, but there had been another ready and waiting. Once the cities had fallen, the new undead needed fresh prey. Fear motivated reprisals from those still alive on other continents had laid waste to much that remained after the initial fires, leaving few around worth the chase in the rubble of vast metropoli. Out here in the wilds, people still needed entertainment. Far from the shuffling undead most people had come to expect from countless films, these... people.. they could move. They could dance. Some could sing. The crowds would gather at twilight, and sometimes near dawn. Before or after the hunt, to set sluggish pulses racing or to celebrate. Thudding from the decrepit generator, powering the whole event, kept added its irregular beat as her hand gripped the mic stand. The crowds would go wild, it was just in this new world, the arms rising to wave in the air as she sang would not always belong to those waving them...

Caught with cupcakes

Amelie was swearing in her mind. They had caught her again. It was always the same. She managed to sneak out of the theatre and to hurry to the next bakery but when she wanted to eat the cupcakes the managers normaly managed to get her. It was horrible. She so wanted to eat sweets. But as usuall she was pulled to the healthpolice where she had to hold the cupcakes in her hands while they took a picture of her. It was embarrassing.

She never really managed to understand why the managers pulled her to the healthpolice when she wanted to eat cupcakes. They never seemed to see a problem in the fact that she smoked. And she smoked a lot while waiting for her performance. Sometimes she even smoked during her performance. Balancing her cigarette holder in her hand while she danced or sang. But maybe it was expected that dancers smoked and not ate cupcakes. Ameli wanted both. Luckily she found a baker who was finally able to create cupcakes which really looked like apples.

Devious Mind is one of the best stores in second life when it comes to lingerie and burlesque poses (they also have the greatest lucky chairs). At the moment there is a hunt going on on their sim. Four of the stores on the sim take part in it: Chanimations, Deviousbeauty, Cupcakes & Poetry and Captain's Quarters. The huntgift you have to search for is either a bottle or an apple with a clock next to it. The gifts are stunning. The dancing outfit on the pictures is the gift fromm deviousBeauty. It could be worn in several ways. The primparts have a resizescript. The cigarette holder, the applecupcakes and the poses are the chanimationsgift. Their gift also contains the backdrop with the heights and inbuilt poses. The white hair comes from Wasabi Pills. It has a unique cut and its possible to tint one of the buns and the surrounding hair in an other colour. The makeup belongs to the new 22769 visage line. It looks like the makeup of Death. She is a character in the sandman comics and the older sister of Dream, the maincharacter in those comics.

The queen of hearts

I love the stuff from devious mind, chanimations and all the other stores on the deviousMind sim. And they got a great Valentines groupgift. Its a prop for poses so that it is possible to make a picture and look like being on the Queen of Hearts card. The set comes with two of those props. The one is for the upper body and the other for the whole body. The poses are sexy and cute. The poses themself are also in the set so if you prefer to be the King of hearts and manage to build yourself such a card you could do so and use the poses. The rose on the upper picture was also in the gift. The outfit on the pictures comes from devious mind.

Waiting for Christmas

Its allready february. So why not starting to wait for next xmas again. A good place for waiting for X-mas is DeviousMind. I have not recognized that they got xmas stuff there in their lucky chairs (there is one lucky chair the other lucky objects are tables and even an elephant). So i won this outfit and also the candycane prop there. First i was insecure if i should blog the items as xmas is over for some time now but on the other hand they are really great so i decided not to care about the current season.
An other price was this outfit with featherboa and fitting poses to make pictures with the boa and the mirror.
The pose looks also pretty good when looking at the backside. It could bei either used with the poseball which is also a part of the set or simply with the poses.
And for those who still think that santa claus does not exist. There are those x-mas tentacles which are more than willing in helping to make you belive.

22769 have lots of new stuff since today. This black outfits is the gift from the fallen angels hunt. I like that it looks good as set but that the parts are also well combineable with other stuff. I see that as one of the major qualities of this store. I also like that the clothes seem to be made for men but fit both genders well.

This is the monthly groupgift. Its a batik shirt with a bit torn jeans. As the hippie outfit fits so well to the hippie pose and props from the chanimations lucky chair the guys from 22769 even asked me to model it for them so my male me has managed to get on the official picture of the outfit *brag* *brag* *brag*.

22769 take part in the myth and legends hunt 2. For this they made this hermes outfit. As vain female i was unwilling to wear the hermes helmet as it destroyed my hairstyle. But as man i was willing to wear it. I love the tone of brown they used for this outfit. It looks great with the gold.

And 22769 made a new outfit for women. Its a steampunkthemed outfit but it works also well as hippie outfit. Here a similar brown tone like at the hermes outfit got used. I had to giggle when i saw the tramplike hat.
Here its more easy to see the gloves. In my opinion its amazing how well the browns and red and orange fit together. The skirt comes with an resize script.

Cloaked again

Its always a good thing to wear a cloak while praying. Expecially when the cloak is as well made as this leather cloak from caverna obscura.
The cloak is an item in the lost lamb hunt and very tricky hidden. But its worth to search the lamb. It comes as the last groupgift from caverna obscura with the possibility to wear the hood on the head and hide the hood on the coat.
