Cassandre

I'm straying here from my usual look. Not necessarily too much style wise just with the shape. My regular shape is Lana from CS Shapes but when I was given Cassandre to try, I found that it gave me the opportunity to experiment with a different look. Cassandre is less realistically/idealistically proportioned and as such gives a more 'animated' look in my opinion which works perfectly with Fashionably dead skins which I've always admired. So decided to take advantage of the great range of skins currently available at Collabor88 to experiment with the look and was thrilled with the outcome.

The hair is a gift at the 'With love again ' hunt  from Sugarsmack whose designs never fails to please me. More details of the hunt can be found HERE it runs until the 6th January. Next I wanted to mention is a little store where I picked up the tights from and is only currently available on the marketplace. It has the most wonderful cute little vintage feel items at bargain prices so go take a peek!

Just a super quickie post - here is my 'wear with everything' scarf from beggars banquet which I blogged about a couple of posts ago - baggy pants are from the super cool Vilena & have tintable braces - now this awesome sweater is from another of my new favourite stores crazy, it's inexpensive and has some super- cool designs , don't believe me? see for yourself! on a last note before I dash to do more decorating check out Muu workshop for some quirky accessories & homewares where I picked up this cute armbrace/bottle holder..... tra!

Casual Thursday

Today I see no reason other than to hang around in casual clothes, some people will have it known as 'slacker wear' or lounge wear'. Call it what you will, it's casual , comfy yet still stylish. Its the first time i've been to Pivaaca but i'll be visiting again shortly i'm sure! there were far too many items that I wanted to buy.

A fine romance?

   

He is the owner of the Restaurant, a chef of the highest esteem. His passion is in his creativity,and whilst his good looks have brought him many female admirers he has never taken a wife,he is married to his art, for it has been his lifes work.

He doesn't have time for distractions like women! but today he is distracted by a woman,a woman that has been frequenting his restaurant quite regularly , although he never noticed before. What made him notice today? she wasn't paying attention to him, not in the least , not like most of women that came to his Restaurant and ceaselessly flirted to no avail, but still he noticed her as she was gazing from the window seemingly deep in thought....just for a few moments he noticed and then he continued with his daily regime.
She was an artist, a bohemian of sorts, carefree with no need for the trappings of modern society or the need for material gain. Paris was just another place to which she had wandered and intended to capture the essence of before wandering on to the next place. She was charmed by the Restaurant , and not for it's handsome owner but today she was admiring the beauty of the honeysuckle that sat outside the window where she sat, it's sweet aroma filling her nostrils. Quite out of nowhere she became distracted, for no known reason it felt as if someone had invaded her thoughts and were trying to steal them for their own....then the feeling was gone and she continued with her day.

Hunting for love

The cupid heart hunt yesterday was one of the hunts i liked best 2009. So i was very excited when hearing that it would take place again. When it started today i more or less rushed through it. Two stores are still missing (this is a fawn and niniko) but the other items are all out. So here a short impression of what i got. The dress on the left is from Ruru@pinio. I like the socks very much. Then comes a dress from les petites detailes with a muffler from MNK the used skin is the gift from Moothers goose the shoes are the gift at . On the right is a skin with shape from Hani. The skin comes in many versions. The bowtie is from :: fore :: and the dress from. The hair also is a hunt gift. The Hunt is still a bit messy. This is a Fawn had not their item out when i did the hunt.
