Love Hurts

As the day of the Saint rolled closer and closer, love was in the air. Valentine had never set foot here, few would by choice. Few, but some. The darker alleyways are sometimes the best places for some lovers to meet, after all, who would look to find them both there?

The demon and the angel had met there once by chance, many years before. The alleyway had grown no cleaner over time, though at least the body of the one whose soul each had come to claim that fateful night had gone. Food no doubt for the rats which scurried ceaselessly between crates and trashcans. Love like this was not something that could be explained, too close to hate as it was. They should loathe each other, and certainly, each felt nothing but repulsion for all the other stood for. Despite all of this, love was what it was.

Whenever good and evil came together, there was bound to be violence. Angels would do all they could to be good and fair, and Demons likewise to be destructive and evil. Violent passion drew them back there each time, despite the inevitable pain that would follow.  Far from these opposites of feeling, emotion and nature cancelling each other out to some even keel, sparks would fly, and blood would flow.

Each time they met, there would be love. At each meeting; pain. The cycle continuing on and on throughout the ages.  As they loved each other, the Angel would give up his heart, and the Demon, she would eat it...

Oh Valentines... Death as love. How fitting for these latest releases!

Words of Light

A distant observer would have had the impression that there might be a swarm of fireflies on the ruins of the temple. Normaly people stayed anyways away from this area of the forest. It was known for an area full of ghosts and others spirits. As always the truth was different. Non human beings lived in the temple. Not hidden but also not belonging to the human realms. They called themself Sinorei not that this was important as they seldom communicated with beings which did not belong to their kin. Sometimes they saw birds, animals and humans them but for them those were not real. Sounds were normaly ignored by them. They of course heard them but sounds were not interesting for the Sinorei. There was no music in their world but light and feelings. They walked past humans, wore even sometimes clothes they found left by them but never tried to communicate with them. Maybe they would have reacted on a torchlight but their language was more subtile. Waves of lights running over their skin. Glowing sparkles which escaped their fingertips. And soft touches during with the light of one floated onto the skin of the other. They did not even think that there could be other ways of communication.  How could words ever be so accurate like a slight shimmer of blue combined with a white sparkle? Trap always has been a store I love. So I was really happy when seeing that they are taking part in the Fantasy Faire. They relased new skins and tattoo to this event. The skins are available in male and female versions while the tattoos are unisex. The range of colours for the skins ranges through all shades of the rainbow to black and white while the tattoos are sold in glowing colours. A rainbow version of the tattoo is one of the relay for life donation items of Trap at the fantasy faire. The hair is a faire release from wasabi pills. Combined with the hairlayertattoo it comes with it looks like one side of the scull has been shaved while the other side is long. It is a great hair for roleplay but also goes well with a goth look. The horns and eyes on him come both from De La Soul also one of the stores which takes part at the Fantasy Faire. While all the clothes are all available at Miamai.
The couple pose on the first picture is a Posefaire Release from Captivity. Its a very sweet pose and of course its possible to edit it so that the avatars are placed together in a way which fits to their size. The other two poses come from oOo Studio.

The pictures have been taken at the Ruins of Nu Orne. One of the wonderful sims where the Fantasy Faire is taking place. The sim has been built by Elico Ember the owner of Cerridwen’s Cauldron.

Homes with heart

Something really horrible must have happened in the hospital. Sira was able to feel the fear of the building through her pawpads. Not that she cared. Fear was something others had she only felt the echos of emotions. But she was really good in this. She had been hired by the union against supernatural attacks (UASA) around 200 years ago and spend her life with investigating incidents. Usually those incidents included a lot of dead humans.

Today she had to examine an old hospital. The walls looked like they had been coloured with blood instead of wall paint. The pattern was intresting like somebody would have wanted to set some bloody spotlights. Sira had been surprised when she recognized that the lights still worked. But she had to laugh when they started to flickr. Ghosts were never really creative in finding new ways to scare people. Her eyes widened when she saw in a moment of darkness the blood float over one of the walls. There was something which was way older and powerful than the ghosts.

Within some seconds she got rid of all her clothing. She would need all of her skin to figure out what exactly was going on. The black flames seemed to move over her body while she crept on her toes through the building. From time to time she touched a wall. They were soaked in fear and in pain. Sira knew that as long as her body was covered in black flames she wouldn t be in danger but her senses were strained in concentration. Finally she found what she was searching. A human would have seen smoke raising from her hand and disappearing in a wall while she pushed her hand into the building closing her fingers around the little thing in it. The house had a heart. Sira parted her red lips and took a bite. Food always helped to solve problems.

It was not possible to resist the white coat and the fitting trousers from trap. The patterns on both are just too awesome. The jacket has a texture which lets it look like it would have a braid in the middle of the whole backside. In the front it looks like there would be some inlaid work made out of cloth. Similar patterns have been used for the trousers. Those have flares which are closed with straps on the side. The coat and the trousers are available in several colours and contain primparts for males and females. The red hair comes from red mint. It has a soft bun at the side so that the hair fall over the shoulder. Its possible to resize the hair until it also fits small avatars and some of the streaks are flexi which lets it look great when the avatar moves. The black tattoo is available at Fallen Gods Inc. it looks like lines covering the whole body. The tattoo is tintable to it is possible to adjust it in a way which fits optimal to the skin. In the pack are allready several versions of it and it is included in versions for males and ones for females. The pose on the 1st and the 3rd picture come from Purple Poses. The one on the 2nd picture comes from Captivitiy.

Atlas

He had already crossed many mountains but he would need to walk much more miles. Sometimes he was annoyed about the strange tradition he followed. But on the other hand he had seen many intresting places because of it. It was said that his family were direct descendants of Atlas. The titan who was holding up the sky. So they developed the tradition to carry spheres through the mountains when becoming 23 years old. With the years the spheres changed and finally they started to uses ones which looked like globes.

Studio Sidhe makes awesome pose props. This sphere is one of them. It is textured like a globe and has three inbuilt poses. Its not worn and has to be rezzed. Because of this it could be very well used in a photostudio. The outfit on the picture comes from Trap. It contains long wide trousers which look partly wrapped. The set contains also badges for the chest for both genders and also badges for the arms and feet.

Fighters

They knew that their clothes would be soon very dirty. But they didn t mind. All what was important at the moment were sharp swords and that none of their foes would manage to get on the wall.Crayon design released asian inspired outfits named Mandarin today. The look of those combinations is amazing. One part of the top looks like being made by silk and the other part like being made of cotton with some patterns in it. Included in the set are trousers. The belt which is looking through is painted on the belt. As seeable on the picture Mandarin looks good on both genders. The set is available in four colours. The ones on the picture below and in red.
