I love this hair, I mean really really love it! that's why I waited forever for my letter to come up on the lucky board. Yes I could probably have just purchased it, but that's the thing about lucky boards, the longer you wait, the more you want to so that you don't feel your time was wasted. I actually though it was the ideal opportunity to sort my shed of an inventory, kill two birds with one stone if you will and a nice cam round the store as well, is that really what lucky boards were designed to do?

 How can you not totally love these boots from Lethal Couture that come in an array of fabulous colours? they come with a hud which gives you a resize facility and the option to change the colour of the heel and zip. The shades and jacket are prizes at the easter hunt at Vero Modero which runs until the 21st and there are plenty more items to pick up too

Gardener

Drow, when beings which weren't drow heard that word it made them shiver. They knew that the ones who lived deep in the mountains were more to fear than the worst giant. A long time ago Druunak had been a drow and he agreed. It was smarter to flee from them although it was hardly possible to escape them. As all of his kin he had spend his youth in dark caves somewhere under the mountains always in danger. The next drow was always the next possible killer. For some time he enjoyed it. The silent killings, the intrigues and the parties - which only lead to more killings and intrigues. But then he started to get bored and saw no sense in playing the typical games. Although it were games which could cause his dead he simply wasn't thrilled anymore. Searching for more deepth he made his way up to the surface.

First the bright sunlight hurt his eyes. Everything else would have been surprising. After a while he started to wander downhill and was soon amazed by all the flowers and trees he saw. The naturewas totally different for him. He also met people well met would have been wrong he saw people but they ran away from him, in his opinion they were pretty slow. But then he saw a man working in a garden and approached him and the man didn't run away. The man was old for a human, which meant he was a child for Druunak, but a child with knowledge he wanted so the Drow became the apprentice of the gardener. And finally found something which was better than killing for the sake of killing and more power. Slowly people even got used to seeing him working in the garden. But always when somebody got killed he had to deal with people singing a german song "Der Mörder ist immer der Gärtner".

22769 takes part in two events for men at the moment and for both they created mesh items. For the 3rd round of the narcissus room they made a green hipster jumper. The way the folds are designed is awesome. As the shirt is made of mesh it comes with a alphalayer. It should fit any avatar. The slacker pants are designed for the Mens Departement event. They do not need an alphalayer and are perfect to wear in the morning or when walking around in a casual way. The mens.department event will start at April 7st. There is a group you can join to get more informations about it. Even the poses come from 22769, they were a gift for the bloggers who took part in the 22769 in the blogs exhibition.
The crazy hair hunt runs currently for the third time. The blonde hair with the flowers is the gift from (red) Mint. Its one of the few gifts in the hunt which also go for men - at least thats what I have been told - and is really pretty. The hair comes with a resize script and the gift includes a version with and one without particles.

Fashion For Life 2012

For her, as usual, the darkness was everywhere, the flashbulbs bursting all around lit her beautifully, but showed her nothing of those watching.

Not that it mattered, it was her they had come to see, and she was there to be seen after all. No mere red carpet, this was the runway of the year, all eyes were on her.

Against the spangled backdrop, the red of her hair stood out like a splash of freshly spilled blood, its motion as she moved, as fluid as the sanguine liquid it resembled, carried the illusion further. As the cameras clicked, the whispers began..

                           "Who is she wearing?"

                                                        "The cut of the silk, so daring, so new, so now!"

The soft voices of the fashion and gossip reporters were soon drowned out, along with the scratches of sharp pencils on paper, frantically sketching the dress. The louder, hoarser voices of the photographers

covered all others with shouts for her attention, trying to make her turn this way, then that, looking for the shot that would bring their money for the year.

Dropping a hip, slouching a shoulder, she gave them what they wanted, the midnight blue of the silk caressing her every curve. The designer's skill cut the cloth so it shone under the lights, careful and intricate pleats added drama to the gown,  the sections woven finer gave movement even as she posed. She would never pose for long, this brief outing was all it would take for the gown to become the sensation it was designed to be.

Crossing her arms across her chest, as if in some fundamental move of protection, she had their attention, this had not happened before. All sounds died away as she parted her lips, preparing to speak in her low voice, one that carried through the crowds...

   "In all of the darkness, there is a light shining. The light is people doing what they can to help."

 

This is the -Azul- Marcela gown, in Sapphire, a colour exclusively available at the Fashion For Life 2012 event.

As a dress, it is truly beautiful, the colour is rich, and accented with black on the pleats. It involves a system skirt, which usually would have me sighing and resigning it to the 'will never wear' pit at the bottom of my invent. System skirts never work with my shape, and I do hate to change my shape.

For this, however, the creators have very helpfully included a notecard with details of shape measurements to make the system skirt look its best. So, here, the ass is a lot smaller than usual, and I'm a bit knock-kneed (though you can't tell). Most importantly, even with the suggested alterations, it still looked like me. Big plus. 

The biggest plus, of course, is that as part of the Fashion For Life event, the proceeds from the sale go to the American Cancer Society. Fighting cancer, bit by bit, in each and every country is a goal everyone can get behind.

Beings in the mist

The days at which the fog lifted were rare. Eideann did not care about this anyways. She knew that the beings which hid in the dust were most likely more afraid of her than she of them. As child she flipped when starting to see all the creatures but she soon figured out that they only saw her when she directly looked at them. Some of them tried to steal energy from her others just wanted to talk with her. She usually killed the ones who wanted her energy and for the others she wore a blindfold.

The henna jackets from Miamai just look great. This one is the black version of it. It looks like a normal elegant jacket with short tails on the back and the options to wear a feather collar. They consist of a jacket layer which keeps the bits covered and primparts for the jacket, sleeves and for the feathers. It can be worn with and without the feathers. All the prim parts are mod. The other items have all been blogged some time ago. But I have to admit that I really like the combination of the tattoo and the hair and so I used them again. The blindfold has been in a gatcha at the fashion fest it might be not available anymore. But illusions sells a very pretty one too. The thong belongs to a complete set thats why it is so expensive but there might be stores which sell single thongs.

Homes with heart

Something really horrible must have happened in the hospital. Sira was able to feel the fear of the building through her pawpads. Not that she cared. Fear was something others had she only felt the echos of emotions. But she was really good in this. She had been hired by the union against supernatural attacks (UASA) around 200 years ago and spend her life with investigating incidents. Usually those incidents included a lot of dead humans.

Today she had to examine an old hospital. The walls looked like they had been coloured with blood instead of wall paint. The pattern was intresting like somebody would have wanted to set some bloody spotlights. Sira had been surprised when she recognized that the lights still worked. But she had to laugh when they started to flickr. Ghosts were never really creative in finding new ways to scare people. Her eyes widened when she saw in a moment of darkness the blood float over one of the walls. There was something which was way older and powerful than the ghosts.

Within some seconds she got rid of all her clothing. She would need all of her skin to figure out what exactly was going on. The black flames seemed to move over her body while she crept on her toes through the building. From time to time she touched a wall. They were soaked in fear and in pain. Sira knew that as long as her body was covered in black flames she wouldn t be in danger but her senses were strained in concentration. Finally she found what she was searching. A human would have seen smoke raising from her hand and disappearing in a wall while she pushed her hand into the building closing her fingers around the little thing in it. The house had a heart. Sira parted her red lips and took a bite. Food always helped to solve problems.

It was not possible to resist the white coat and the fitting trousers from trap. The patterns on both are just too awesome. The jacket has a texture which lets it look like it would have a braid in the middle of the whole backside. In the front it looks like there would be some inlaid work made out of cloth. Similar patterns have been used for the trousers. Those have flares which are closed with straps on the side. The coat and the trousers are available in several colours and contain primparts for males and females. The red hair comes from red mint. It has a soft bun at the side so that the hair fall over the shoulder. Its possible to resize the hair until it also fits small avatars and some of the streaks are flexi which lets it look great when the avatar moves. The black tattoo is available at Fallen Gods Inc. it looks like lines covering the whole body. The tattoo is tintable to it is possible to adjust it in a way which fits optimal to the skin. In the pack are allready several versions of it and it is included in versions for males and ones for females. The pose on the 1st and the 3rd picture come from Purple Poses. The one on the 2nd picture comes from Captivitiy.
