Bloody Mess...

She stalked through the darkness, each step less than a whisper, each movement fluid as silk in a stream. Her pace may once have been measured, a skill learned. All these centuries later, it had faded from any memory she cared to let flow through her mind, it was as natural as breathing, or in her case, pretending to when it suited her needs.

As the night progressed, as victims fell to her charm, her touch, her kiss, their blood coated her skin. As she fed, her deathly chill palled. Her own flesh warmed by the blood of others, their lives keeping her going, feeding her wants and desires. Killing was far from her intention on most of these occasions, though those who put up a fight were more to her palate than any who would give it up willingly. No weakling could quench her thirst, receiving, as well as inflicting wounds was all part of the fun. As the edges of the sky began to lighten, her feast drew to a close. All creatures of the night turned to whatever they called home, keeping to the darkness through the blazing day.

I love the darkness, no denying that. This is startlingly close to how you may find me in-world, where indeed I frequently wear these blood layers in RP. Here shown are the 3 Stages of Mess beginning with "A Little Mess" moving on to "Give Me More" and then the grand finale "Bloody Mess", created by a muse of mine, Mzzy Wytchwood, for her ✚REDRUM✚brand.

The blood comes in ALL LAYERS possible, including a tattoo layer, so you can wear the blood on your skin, under your clothes or on top of them, the choices are yours and endless. The real beauty of this for me is the way it can be worked into RP. Sure, often I walk into a scene already coated in the redstuff, at other times, during a fight, or a feed, it's amazing to be able to add to the action with increasing wounds and smears, making the whole scene truly immersive. Looking closely at the neck you can see bite wounds, making the set suitable for those who like to be bitten as well as to bite.

Summer Lovin'... Depraved Style

Flique loved the summer. No more short days. No more long nights, shivering, nothing to do and nowhere to go in the chill of winter. The sun was out, the music was playing, Madonna's "Material Girl" and "True Blue" making the air quiver. The city's toes were all tapping, it was time to hit the streets. As she slipped on her retro cameo ring, and punk spiked cuff, she checked out her reflection in the mirror and posed. The perfect mix of sweetness and edge.

She heard the valves  being loosened on water hydrants, spraying cool water through the air, laughing voices, squealing with excitement added to the beat. Checking the blade in the strap on her thigh, Flique pulled on her high-tops and ran outside. Dancing along the road, she squeaked as a spray of water was sent her way by those playing in the sun, holding her blazer up high out of the way, she winked at them, turned to head off, all ready for the evening parties, she had to look good!

The day after dawned as bright and sunny as the one before... Flique's head hurt. The music and the pink champagne had carried her through the night, and back home, glimpses and flashes of memory, of the girls and the boys, all that sultry heat. Only one cure for this, she had to head to the beach. Slipping in to her cut off jean shorts, folding the turn-ups just so, she pulled the new top from her crammed wardrobe, its summer florals on black matching her mood, sunny, with darkness below. Throwing all she would need into her favourite bag, and slinging that over her shoulder, she took off for the beach. The salt air, and the sensation of warm sand between her toes made her feel alive. Soft strains of music wafted over the dunes, weaving between the palm trees, her favourite song. Time to go find who was playing it, and see if they had any sun lotion to share...

The Depraved Summer Love Hunt is on! To me, a lot of the items had a distinct 80's feel to them, which led to all the Madonna... These are some of my favourite items from the stores. This is a really nice skin, looks very youthful, it has built in tan lines, as though from a skimpy bikini. It also has the word 'love' pale on one cheek, as you can just about see in the first image.

Beautiful large iris in these eyes, tonally, they work well with this skin.

Very pale flowers cover the dress, and the skirt flares out nicely, many layers of 'net' so moves fluidly. I had a script stack error on wearing it - but deleting the resizer script fixed that.

Womenstuff...

From way back when in 2007, I've always liked to look for the best freebies or at least reasonably priced things I could find. From trawling 'yard sales' and freebie warehouses in ye olden days, to the wonder of having more group slots, and from there, more options to link to favourite stores, and their often generous owners gifts. Now, I have my favourite stores groups - sadly 42 slots still aint enough - and as previous posts have shown, I do love a hunt to get new things! A friend had been a member of the Menstuff group for a long while, doing their hunt, and getting things from their 'lounge' of gifts. I actually have pics of him ready for a different post, and after contemplating adding them in here, I won't, it can wait a few days. I digress. After seeing what he'd got, I was convinced to join the Womenstuff group, and see what I could get for myself.  The group is free to join, I was expecting a charge, but there is none. The Lounge of gifts is for group members only, and there are lots, I mean LOTS of gifts. If I remember rightly the grid of gift boxes is 13 x 13, and most slots contain a gift. Everything from hair, skin, shapes to clothes, shoes and jewelery.

Rather than bombard with a mass of items, today I'll focus on three skins, a shape, tattoo and shoes. Oh, and a pose. Still a bit of a mass I agree...

When looking at skins, there are a few places I focus on to see the quality, to decide if it's something I would want to wear. Face is a given of course, I also look for shading and muscletone on the body, and importantly, the quality of the nails. While I often wear prim nails, sometimes it's not possible, especially with the loss of multi attach points on some viewers. When I can't wear them, and I'm already wearing a glove layer and tattoo for other effects, I'd rather not have ugly white tips on the ends of my fingers. All these skins are really excellent for that, some of the best quality texture of nails I've seen actually, which is amazing considering they are free.

Dance with demons

The club was the most popular one in the town. People came from all over the country just to have a look at it. Of course most of them had no chance to get past the doorman. Often there was somebody screaming in anger and this was one of the reasons for the existance of the club. Humans were so entertaining when they were angry. And eventhe recation of those who were allowed to go into the club were delicious. The club had been founded by Sabitha. Some called her the queen of the night. Her crown was famous and rumors that it wouldn't be a crown but horns triggered even more interest. She herself mainly loved pink and the feeling of souls falling around her.

The Inferno Horns from Wasabi Pills are available for a long time. But its rare to see them in other colours than the dark tones. There are actually 12 textures to choose with the help of a script inbuilt into the horns. A nice addition is the possibility to choose how much grey should be added. The texture used for the horns on the picture is the neon pink one. The unrigged mesh hair also comes from Wasabi Pills. The version on the picture has only been available for a limited time but it is of course still available in the normal Wasabi Pills colours. The whole outfit is kept in pink. The dress with the jacket are made of mesh and come from 22769. It is available in the standart sizes. The textures used are very pretty especially the ones on the jacket make one imagine how the fabric would feel in reality. The combination of the jacket and the dress cause that the outfit looks elegant although the dress is pretty short.  It could go well at an elegant party or at an evening at the beach. There are also other colours available. Currently the outfits are sold at the ArisAris Summer Fashion Festival. The pink clutch is also an item from 22769 but not available in this colour anymore.
A demon would be nothing without some claws and the ones from ni.ju are not only available in several colours it is also possible to tint the colours of the nails. To go with the outfit the ones on the picture are the white ones with nails tinted in pink.
Ingenue does not only create wonderful dresses, their shoes are always worth a try. And of course this outfit needed classy shoes in a fitting colour. The Gatsby Heels in fushcia are the perfect choice. They are made of mesh and look business like.
Without good poses it would not be possible to take good pictures. The one used for this one comes from Purple Poses. It is sold at the current Zombie Popcorn Carnival.
The skin and shape come both from Adam and Eve.

Depraved Nation is holding it's Summer Gacha Fair from June 1 - 15!  Participating designers will place their items in Gacha machines lining the sidewalks around the Sim center.


Gacha items are generally no copy/transfer so people playing the Gacha machines can swap items with each other when they purchase duplicates.  Fun times!

His pink lips curled into a soft and affectionate smile as he placed one, slender hand on the other's chest, right above the heart, and the other over the subtly shimmering sun pendant that was dangling from his neck, held by a thin necklace of sumptuous gold - the gift he'd just received. Its reflections painted sparks of gold onto his immaculate skin and into the deep pools of his stunning, blue eyes when Amaryth leaned in and rubbed his cheek tenderly to the dark-haired's, his voice not more than an faint breath against a sensitive ear shell. "Amin harmuva onalle e' cormamin, melamin... I shall treasure your gift in my heart, my love."

The CHIC² Birthday Event is still running, and this time I'm introducing a piece of really breathtaking jewellery to you - the Lost Eden Sun Pendant from Maxi Gossamer Accessories. I'd often seen her stunning work at the Marketplace, but never dared to purchase it since I wasn't sure if it would fit a male neck as well, but this exquisite piece convinced me to have a try, and I wasn't disappointed. It's scripted to change size and - in this case - to swap between gold and silver textures, both of which are very detailed and a true feast for the eyes. For the night

Her skin was bright in the streetlight. Later in the club not only men would turn their head to her. But this wasn't the kind of attention she cared for. After 300 years it was rare that she was feeling anything else but boredom. The only reason for still visiting clubs was that there was nobody else who could do her task. Sometimes she tried to train people but they were all too weak. It was not easy to be a demonhunter and all of her apprentices failed when they were asked to kill a demon for the first time. Maybe they knew that they would become a half demon through it. There seemed to be something in humans which protected them.

The items being sold at the 2nd birthday of Chic are lovely. For example  the jacket and the dress come from CIA Designs. The Bolero jacket is even a gift. The prims of the sleeves are adjustable.  The dress comes on the shirt and the trousers layer. The skirt is mod and there is an alpha layer included which helps to make sure that the legs do not stick through the upper part of the skirt.
The hair is one of the latest releases from Wasabi Pills. It is made of non rigged mesh. This means it is possible to move it and to adjust it like prim hair. The cut is lovely and goes great for an elegant or a business look.
22769 are mainly known for their great clothes. But they also sell some nice accessories. For example this clutch bag. It is also made of nonrigged mesh and available in many colours so that there is enough variety which allows to find the fitting one to every outfit.
The wonderful jewellery is available at frippery. The set contains a necklace, a wristlet and earrings. All in the flower design. They are made of a huge amout of prims which creates many details.
The shoes can either be worn in a version with meshfeet or in a version in which only the toes are made of mesh. The design is cute and still elegant. They come with a hud which allows to tint the skin as well as the toenails.
