Follow the feeling - Fantasy Faire 2019

All through the fairelands the strains of music could be heard. It was more than the tuneful warbling of birds, though of course, that was ever present, especially up near the eaves.

"Eaves dropping..." Lore mumbled, her gaze drifting along the sweeping arches of stone.

"Dropping eaves... Dropping leaves..." turning she peered through the halflight to the shaded interior of the nearest tree.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are."

Shaking her head Lore chuckled. "What in the worlds am I doing? Peeping into nests?" Gently, as light as a feather, she began to drift down from the heights she had worked herself up to in her excitement. Refractions of light glimmered and danced across the silk of her gown, magical light, the Light of Va'Loth. Lore walked on, closer to its source, enjoying the effect, taking delight in the kinship even of the Fairelands themselves, the beauty of one drew out and bolstered the beauty of another. She had to follow the music, she was certain it was that which had drawn the moths from their homes. Fluttering wings took flight, chasing not the light of sun, moon, or even magic, but a different frequency. The rhythms flowing from the Fairechylde, a vital heartbeat to the lands, echoed in the forms of all those who sought it, gathered around it to sing and to dance.

"Round and round the mulberry bush..." she sang softly even as her eyes darted from a blade of grass to a drifting mote in the air.

"Come on my beauties where have you gone? You don't even eat mulberry leaves!" Soon the lands would fill with visitors, clomping feet and hooves, broad, leaf brushing wings, to say nothing of those beings made from fire or ice. She shuddered, she had to round them up, get them safely home. The silk rustled, the first wing beat.

"There!" Lore beckoned, lavender tipped fingers curling in welcome. Her moths fluttered to her, soon to be back safely in Bayounimba. Life would go on, eggs would be laid, caterpillars grown. Grown to eat the leaves in the Bayou, to make the most beautiful silk.

So much prettiness. More than prettiness. These are the kinds of SIMs that you wish were places you could visit in RL, so beautiful and well crafted you can feel the texture of the air and breathe in its scent as you click and cam your way. Summer Lovin'... Depraved Style

Flique loved the summer. No more short days. No more long nights, shivering, nothing to do and nowhere to go in the chill of winter. The sun was out, the music was playing, Madonna's "Material Girl" and "True Blue" making the air quiver. The city's toes were all tapping, it was time to hit the streets. As she slipped on her retro cameo ring, and punk spiked cuff, she checked out her reflection in the mirror and posed. The perfect mix of sweetness and edge.

She heard the valves  being loosened on water hydrants, spraying cool water through the air, laughing voices, squealing with excitement added to the beat. Checking the blade in the strap on her thigh, Flique pulled on her high-tops and ran outside. Dancing along the road, she squeaked as a spray of water was sent her way by those playing in the sun, holding her blazer up high out of the way, she winked at them, turned to head off, all ready for the evening parties, she had to look good!

The day after dawned as bright and sunny as the one before... Flique's head hurt. The music and the pink champagne had carried her through the night, and back home, glimpses and flashes of memory, of the girls and the boys, all that sultry heat. Only one cure for this, she had to head to the beach. Slipping in to her cut off jean shorts, folding the turn-ups just so, she pulled the new top from her crammed wardrobe, its summer florals on black matching her mood, sunny, with darkness below. Throwing all she would need into her favourite bag, and slinging that over her shoulder, she took off for the beach. The salt air, and the sensation of warm sand between her toes made her feel alive. Soft strains of music wafted over the dunes, weaving between the palm trees, her favourite song. Time to go find who was playing it, and see if they had any sun lotion to share...

The Depraved Summer Love Hunt is on! To me, a lot of the items had a distinct 80's feel to them, which led to all the Madonna... These are some of my favourite items from the stores. This is a really nice skin, looks very youthful, it has built in tan lines, as though from a skimpy bikini. It also has the word 'love' pale on one cheek, as you can just about see in the first image.

Beautiful large iris in these eyes, tonally, they work well with this skin.

Dress : [AB] Abricot Dress.

Very pale flowers cover the dress, and the skirt flares out nicely, many layers of 'net' so moves fluidly. I had a script stack error on wearing it - but deleting the resizer script fixed that.

Mesh blazer, comes in 5 sizes, from XS to XL. 80's preppy edge. Went so well with the dress!

So 80's I'm getting flashbacks, though mine RL had luminous green piping. Love these.

Not wearing a blade feels wrong, with any oufit, so this works perfectly, and has a nice steampunky twist with little clock dials.

An old picture of a woman in a kimono walking home from a shrine. It is not seeable why she is waving with her arm. Did she want to show off her sleeves? Or was there a nasty insect pestering her? There is no note on the backside of the picture. LnL is a great store for outfits as all their items look like the designer uses clothing as canvas. That implys that the textures of the LnL outfits are amazing. Now they have started an asian line and they take part in the silkroad hunt. The kimono is their huntgift. It has great textures and is finally a kimono with a different cut than ones from other stores. The pack contains the kimono for women and for men.

For the pictures i used a skin from the BIRTH minimania. It comes with a very intresting makeup in my opinion but its not a very pale skin so a japanese princess would have stayed in her rooms for weeks to become pale again if she had a skintone like the skin has. But its a great skin. Its amazing how well deepred lipstick and pink makeup around the eyes could look together.
