Spellbound at the gor fest

Spellbound is taking part at the GorFest & Merchant Fair 2010. Well they are not only taking part they are even one of the sponsors of the fest, the other sponsor of the event is EMO-tions. The gor fest is a gorean charity event for relay for life. But that does not mean that it is only intresting for people who are into gorean roleplay. Normaly gorean clothes fit also well to other roleplay for example the heidi and the clarissa gowns which i show in this blog entry fit to fantasy roleplay and even don`t look wrong on steampunk sims. The GorFest & Merchant Fair 2010 takes part from July 4th - 11th and everybody is welcome there. A lot of the best gorean designers have a booth at the "Oasis of Hope Market" At each day of the fest in the time from 12pm to 8pm SLT events take place at the fest. You could find the calendar for the events here. Goreans in the Relay For Life is one of the most successful relay for life teams in second life.

Spellbound has many donation items on the fest. If you buy a donation item the money does not go to the designer, it goes to relay for life. For example this red gown. It has a cut i have seen seldom in second life. I like the lace details a lot. As all items i know from Spellbound all the system parts come on all layers.

This gown in lavendar is very playful and comes with a cute flower headdress. It also has some cute lace pieces.

This dress is one of my favourite pieces from Spellbound. Its possible to wear the top as corset (without the red shirt under it). The handwarmers are also very comfy but well they are a bit disturbing when holding a sword in the hand but as it is possible to take them off this isn t a real problem.

The Heidi gown in cream also has two possibilities to wear it. The shirt comes like shown on the picture and in a version without the lace on the chest. In the sets are two skirts included. One with a overskirt and one without. Both look very good. The cuffs on the upper and lower arms look like they are hold on their position by a band wrapped around them.

This outfit is very short, very sensual and has a sheer version included. It also comes with a headdress and has a lot of attatchments with flowers.

The heidi gown is not available in cream there are also more colours of it available. I wasn`t able to resist the green version.

And it was the same with the black version of the Clarissa gown. Here i like very much that the corset and the shirt under it both look black but not like they are one piece.

Blue, red or just colours?

Standing at home and discussing if that blue gown suits me. The answer was yes but i was so insecure. So i tried a red gown. And again the answer was yes it looks great. But still i was insecure.
So i ended with a gown in many colours and huge patterns.
All those gowns are new from Lois Allen Design. I like them a lot.
The blue gown comes with fitting gloves. The skirt is easy modifiable so it fits also smaller avis. I like the water like look of it alot. Its just nice how the blue fades into the grey, white at the lower end (i do not really know the word of the part of the skirt i mean the closer it is at the ground the whiter it gets). Also the little details at the top are just lovely. And its the letter of the week gown at Lois Allen Designs so its only 50 Linden at the moment.

This red gown is Lois donation item at the fashion fest. It has a top with crossed straps at the back and allows to see a lot of the back. Very lovely are the details at the butt piece which look like an ornament of flowers. After the fashion fest the gown will be sold normaly in Lois store.

For this gown Lois used very unique patterns and colours. The top has a similar cut like the red gown but additional this gown has two sleves. The pattern on the top is repeated on the skirt.

Some time ago i blogged this wonderful peacock gown from Lois. It is still available at the store. And definitly worth to have a look at. On the left side is a picture of one of Lois outfits for men. Its a trouser with fitting shirt and suspenders. It also fits women very well.

A true skater never stops

Tamara Bezon liked skateing a lot. A lot more for example than men, horses and chewing gum. But she was not really good in skating. Or well she was above the average but had the tendency to hurt herself badly when she hurt herself. So when others needed just a badge she normaly needed to be sewed. So after being hurt badly she sat at home letting some air on the wound on her chest and her legs. But unfortunatly her skateboard was close.
So it didn`t take long till she started to play around a bit with the skateboard on the floor of her living room. After a while she decided that she felt allready much better and that it would be good to train a bit. She wrapped a bandage around her chest grabbed some hotpants and went out to skate.
So the result was an other meeting with the nice young emergency doctor. He was really angry and told her that he would get her skateboard back when she would be completly healthy again. While thinking about the boards she kept under her bed she turned her head away to avoid that he could read her mind.
But when being home again the leg hurt badly so she searched some distraction from the pain by playing with her rat Ben.
For this blog entry i used mainly the items from a cute store named {Dead Carrot}. The store sells shapes - for example the one i used in the blog - tattoos and wounds. The quality of the items is very good they come all on all layers and look realistic (well i don`t know if that bad leg wound is realistic as i prefer not to see something like that in reality). What i like a lot is that the leg wound even comes on the sock layer so you could wear the upper leg ones and the calf wound. The shape is named Cheeky petite?? moi?! what i like at it is that a real woman actually could look like that. But not only the body is well done the face also is very cute. Pretty in orange

Orange could look good as a dress. If somebody would have told me that i would just have laughed at that person. The designer of .:i *Towa* i:. didn`t had such ideas about the colour orange when designing this elegant dress. Its the prize for solving a puzzle at the .:i *Towa* i:. mainstore.

For this entry i used a skin i won on a midnight mania board at Womens Dreamy Bodyshop. The makeup is very unique and well done. The dragoneyes from sterling artistry eyes fit well to it.

Soup for all

Top secret is a very good mens freebie blog. Together with Before sleep a store for clothing and more they organized the Alphabet Soup bazaar. A small faire with nice summer clothes. It opens at the 4th of July and is worth a visit. Nearly all items shown in the blogentry are available at the bazaar. So if an item shown hasn t a slurl its available at the bazaar.

Going to the alphabet soup bazaar and being dressed perfectly for that. And having a good reason to get a lot of dresses there. As the can is quite unique but it lacks a bit in elegance.
The guys from 22769 also sell an item there which is perfect for going somewhere but theirs is perfect for going to the beach. Its possible to buy all the pieces together for 22 linden or you buy the single pieces for example when you think "I always hated left trousers cuffs" you could simply not buy it. Although i would buy the left cuff because those cuffs belong to the well textured trousers (and its not true you only could buy the trousers with the cuffs).

The bazaar is not only for friends of soup its also a great place for the lovers of cookies. This cute dress from Miinii Inc Main comes with fitting flats, sunglasses and a scarf. I like the colour very much its a nice kind of blue. I just recognized that it is an item for children. But it also fits smallish avis without any trouble.

Before Sleep is one of the organisators of the Bazaar and have of course a lot of cute stuff in their booth. For example the shirts (Hottie and Geek) and all the flipflops shown in the blog are from before sleep. They only cost 1 linden, but as all flip flops they maybe only last for a summe,r so it would be best to buy them in all colours, which are available, to be prepared for some more summers which might come.

There are some funny free shirts available at the bazaar for example the "Let's the games begin" one or the bazaar shirt. The shirt on the right hasn t anything to do with the bazaar its one of the new lucky board items from mnk but goes very well with the trousers from before sleep.

Welcome to the future

Walking throught the empty city in a dress made of paper.
The light of the advertisement at the walls changes the colour of the skin.
The reflection of the sky causes a feeling like walking on clouds.
There are few designers which make unique affordable dresses. Sanders Beaumont is one of them. In his store .::dj::. DoJo he sells unique dresses to fair prizes. The cut of the clothes is modern, elegant and surprising. I like the colours of this one very much and also the idea of a dress made of paper and safety pins.

Its Cake at the fashion fest

I have to admit i always thought that its cake is just a store for funny toys like food to carry in the mouth or their brilliant bouncing castle. I was wrong. There are also a lot of nice clothes available. I recognized that when visiting the booth of the store on the fashion fest. They got a very nice shirt there as gift. Its very pink and with the typeface which has been used on it it fits perfectly to the sim of the booth. They are on sim 8 of the fest which is designed in a 1957 Philadelphia style. The skirt from Casual Elegance is also a gift from the fest and fits perfectly to the shirt and the sim.
