Caught in the crypt

Just as Bluebeard had his secret room, a place to hide the reminders of his past, the cathedral had its crypt. There were bones scattered throughout the building of course, centuries of use and abuse had taken its toll. Some rooms were completely unusable, as anything but the storerooms they had become. The triumph of gothic architecture was the grandest charnel house the world had ever seen.

This was Millia's domain. The fires roared hot in the vast vaults of their inglenooks, the air in the rafters maintained a constant chill, keeping the bats happy, even as the latest bones consigned to the flames blackened and cracked. Bones were her business, she could only make use of the best in her craft, the rest served to keep the place warm enough for her guests. They came each night to browse and to admire, to look, but never to touch her creations, at least, not until coin of suitable value had dropped into the collection box.

Millia was her work, she was proud of the beautiful new items she could inspire from things the living had left behind. Her home, and her appearance were her hallmarks. They were the only advertising she needed, if people had the wit to see it. As the lucky few who came with the darkness took their time, and browsed her wares, she could relax. Sinking comfortably into the soft leather of her favourite chair, tracing her fingertips over the tattoo still visible on one of its arms, she sighed with satisfaction. Some may think her ghoulish, perhaps. She was the most innovative of all those who cared for the world they shared, after all. She recycled everyone.

On the way to the north

Her colleagues hated her but Dr.Dr. Phd. Ignatia Fleckenstein was the most popular and experienced scientist when it came to penguinlanguages. Her parents had been antarctic explorers so at the age of five Ignatia found out that penguins were as smart as humans and that it was possible to learn their language. At that time she evn had the impression that they would be smarter as humans. But as soon as she became a bit older she found out that also penguinparents didn't allow their children to stay up late and to eat as much as they wanted to. After having learned to write Ignatia wrote her famous first book with the title "First words for penguin friends". Of course the scientific community did not take her serious but soon they had to change their opinion. Some more people learned to communicate with penguins and were really surprised about their culture. But somehow they never managed to become as good in understanding them as Ignatia did.

I love elegant unique clothing. This dress from Leezu has a very unique cut because of the form of the collar and the black white pattern is calm because of its colours and at the same time very brisk. The skirt is included in three versions and the system parts come on all layers. Its possible to edit the primparts. The gloves belong to the Ansiotropic jacket from Miamai, which I blogged some weeks ago, I really like the primparts. It is of course possible to wear the dress without leggins or tights under it but I choosed to wear it with the dewi pants which also come from Miamai. As the outfit is black and white its great to add some colour so the red leather boots are a great contrast to the dress and the gloves.
The pose used in the picture comes from Captivity Co. It belongs to a set which will be released soon and has the name Velvet Curtain Collection. That collection of poses is being created for fashion pictures and will be released soon.

Modeling in red boots

Evie wasn't rich enough to afford models to pose in her clothing. Luckily she was also not rich so she had to decide if she would buy cloth from her money or food and mostly she bought cloth. Which was not always healthy but good for her shape. So she was able to model the clothes she created. After a while she started to sell many of them. Which allowed her to buy more cloth and to create dresses which were even more stunning than the ones she had been making when she was broke.

Diapop and Somapop moved and has a nice dollarbie in their new store. Its a shirt and shorts in brown with a diamond pattern on it. The set comes with a fitting belt and its possible to mod the primparts to make the smaller. The new store of Diapop and Somapop reminds a bit on an empty factory building and is worth a visit.
Virtual/Insanity has a lot new items and the choker with the cross is one of them. The set includes two versions, one with a bigger cross and one with a smaller one. Those who do not want an inverted cross can modify the choker and just turn the cross around. There are also a fitting belt, fingernails and a legband avilable.
The red boots come from bax. They still have the wonderful service that they fit the boots in the store which is just so comfy and useful. Beside the great customer service the boots are of course awesome. Its possible to choose between four colours for the leather and several colours for the heel, sole and some more parts of the boots. Its possible to fold the boot-tops down (with several options for the texture inside of the boot-tops) or to hide the top part of the boots.
The skin is the Eboni Skin from ND/MD. I had to look how it would look on my normal shape and love the result. The hair comes from Magika. They have new colour sets now which contain a lot of colours at once.
The pose comes from Miamai. It belongs to a set which will be sold at the Vintage Fair which starts tomorrow. Its a great set of modeling poses.

Tiger Falcon battles the insane robots

Tiger Falcon turned around to figure out the source of the sound. She was just on the way home. Her day had been filled with sounds like that and it seemed it wouldn t be over yet. Since the morning she had been fighting against evil robots. It was every year the same sometime in september most robots became crazy. Many research teams tried to figure out why that happened but it seemed like there was no real explantation. The answers were the usuall ones. Some supposed it would be caused by the government, others supposed extraterrestrial influences.

Tiger Falcon just fought. Sometimes she thought that the whole rest of the year was nothing but training for those days in september. The team she belonged to was called the glorious. It was the oldest superhero team in the whole town. It existed for nearly 100 years. Some people were so naiv to believe that Tiger Falcon and the other teammembers didn't age. But of course they were wrong. She was a clone as all her fellow teammembers. This did not make her less efficient than the fist Tiger Falcon. But as she was created to be a superhero and not a hero by choice she dreamed of a different life. Tiger Falcon wanted to be a chocolatier. She was seldom allowed to eat chocolate but she was quite surprised to recognize its spell on the crazy robot. While she slept she pondered about the fact that the robot smelled like chocolate. When she wasn't fighting during the next days she tried to find out if other crazy robots had the same smell and there really seemed to be a patern. Those who had even the faintest smell of chocolate on them were the ones which were crazy. At the end she found out that some robots had to help every year to test chocofigures. The many flavours in the sweet made them go crazy. With this knowledge it was finally possible to stop the anual robotriots and Tiger Falcon wasn't needed anymore. Of course she could have stayed a superhero but she prefered to become a chocolatier.

The 5th steampunk hunt is going on this month. Of course 22769 also takes part in this round of the hunt. They created two steampunkish hero outfits. One for men and one for women, which is the one on the pictures. The textures of the outfit are lovely. I like especially the ones on the coat. When the avatar moves the coat floats around it. On the front the coat is closed with a belt which is laced at the back. It is possible to mod the primparts. The outfit goes well for superheros and might be fun at a hero themed party. I found it tricky to decide which shoes to wear with it but choosed at the end the ones from bax.

Black Coats

She was a smoker since her last boyfriend had left her. This was about twelve years ago and sometimes when laying alone in her bed she was wondering how it could have been if they would have stayed together.

In those nights she normaly she had horrible nightmares. But when she woke and smoked the first cigarette she always felt better. Of course she could have stayed with him. He was the most stubborn man she had met in centuries. Maybe this was the reason why she fell for him. Of course his blood was also tasty. But he got so angry when she drank the blood of others. After he had been five years with her she offerd him to make him to one of her kin. But he did not want that. They started to argue everyday. He wanted to adopt children, she did not want to get attached to beings which would be most likely even more tasty than him. She was not glad when seeing him ageing. In her opinion it was just silly of him secretly she supposed that he only did not want to become one of her kin to anger her. But then he left. She never really understood why he did not stay with her. She had been willing to stay with him until he would die but he did not want her to do so. Sometimes she supposed that he left because of his job. She never understood why a priest had spend so much time with her.

When seeing the Radu Coats from A:S:S the first time I fell immediately for them. But as they were created for men I was insecure how they would look at my avatar. At the end I was not able to resist and bought the onyx version of the coat. And it fits. Of course it was needed to rotate some of the primparts a bit and to resize them. But this took maybe around 10 minutes. I love the shading of the coat and the patterns on the primpart are very beautiful. The systemparts come on all layers so its possible to wear clothes under the coat. I decided to combine it with the ducttapes from League. The cigarette holder belongs to a set from Icing.

Another one of my favorite stores has this lovely gem FREE! It comes with the dress in Jacket/Shirt/Undershirt layers, and the bottom in pants and underpants! And the skirt isn't one of those little prims stuck between your legs, its an actual sculpted skirt which looks rather nice! And to complete the look is my Baxies, which are one of my favorite accessories!

Skintight

Standing around and being glad because of not having to work as the latexsuit might get destroyed when touching something sharp.
Somehow my Second Life consists of surprises. I never supposed that i might ever be absolutly keen on a latexoutfit but when seeing this i needed to have it.Its a suit with gloves and stockings and a lot of straps. It could also be worn without some of the primparts but in my opinion it looks best with all of them.
The system layers come either with the latex or without. So if it is extremly warm it is possible to wear the suit without the latex. It still looks great.
The strap around the chest is optional it is also possible to wear only the vertical one with the collar and pasties if its needed.
To be honest i love the look of the whole set. But most i love how great it lets look my favourite tattoo. Somehow it looks under latex much more intresting than it looks without. Its also a question of taste if the boots from bax fit to the outfit or not. I like them in this combination. Some friends i asked had an other opinion.

Welcome to the future

Walking throught the empty city in a dress made of paper.
The light of the advertisement at the walls changes the colour of the skin.
The reflection of the sky causes a feeling like walking on clouds.
There are few designers which make unique affordable dresses. Sanders Beaumont is one of them. In his store .::dj::. DoJo he sells unique dresses to fair prizes. The cut of the clothes is modern, elegant and surprising. I like the colours of this one very much and also the idea of a dress made of paper and safety pins.

I < 3 beavers and ferrets

Today i wore one of my favourite shirts and was quite embarrassed when i met a beaver.
To pretend that i was just there to have some fun and not to meet a beaver i made a handstand on one hand hoping that it would impress the beaver.
And yes he liked it so i was allowed to sit behind him be proud to be so close to a beaver.
Of course i would have had the chance to be dressed perfectly if i had met a ferret.

As the weather isn t becoming much better, coats are still needed. This is a gift from Okidoki in the Mad March Hare hunt. Its still there but as it says March i would hurry to get the coat. In the gift is also a silver version of the coat for men.
