World Goth Fair 2014 - Dark Wings

She landed in an unknown realm, wet and dark... which she found pleasant and unpleasant at the same time. She adored darkness, it was her natural element... but all that rain? She shivered as she felt her black feathers were already glued together. How should she fly now, and stalk her prey? Yet, she knew she had no other choice whatsoever. The Dark Lord was her commander and she was to obey his orders, no matter what. She shivered for a second longer, then she clicked her talons and spread her heavy black wings. The hunt for the lost soul was on.

Fantasy Faire 2013 - The Green Queen

The Green Queen surveyed her realm with quiet, content happiness. The land was flourishing under her benevolent rule, and the people prospered. She walked around in the castle garden, caressed a tree leaf now and then. Everything felt so... alive, vibrating, growing, multiplying. The Green Queen kneeled down and touched a flower. She was serene, yet a shadow of sadness veiled her heart. Her time in the realm was so brief.

Indeed, she was to abdicate in a few weeks and her throne would pass to the Golden Queen... who, when her time came, would surrender the lands to the Red Queen and she, to the White Queen. The Green Queen was still sad, but when she remembered that the White Queen's reign would last but a few months and then she would ascend the throne in her full emerald glory again, she smiled and caressed another leaf.

I've known of the existence of the two guys behind "22769" for quite a long time - I always pay attention when a friend, whose habits don't include showering anybody with easy compliments, speaks of someone in the highest terms possible. Alas, it also seemed that Paco Pooley and Manuel Ormidale would focus their attention mainly on modern clothing... well, they treated steampunk fans to some tidbits from their "22769 Vintage" series now and then, but that was all, as far as fantasy stuff went. Yet, a flicker of hope scintillated in the horizon... Paco and Manuel wear elf ears, together with their jeans and t-shirts and sneakers! And indeed, the call of the pointy ears has proven too strong to ignore, and this year 22769 have their store in the Fantasy Faire, filled with goodies for the fantasy folk to enjoy.

... and you two, you will continue the vintage line, will you...? Pretty please?

Hair: "Poison" by EMO-tions in Brown - the hair is a "golden oldie" (245 L$) but you can find the latest creations of Mirja Mills at Evensong Woods during the Faire.

Ears: "Young Elven Ears" by 22769 - another FF exclusive (140 L$) which is a bargain as the ears come with a colour HUD so you can match the shade of your ears with any possible skin you have.

Skin: "Rainbow Skins" in "Corpse Pallor" by Grim Bros - you can pick up the gift package for free in the Grim Bros main shop and it indeed contains many skins in the colours of the rainbow, and some. Cutea Benelli is also present at the Faire, go visit her boot at Ravenshard.

Tattoos: "Demon Fades" in Cilantro (on hands) and "Soul Ink Reloaded - Jana" (around the eyes) - both by The Plastik. The tattoos are both previous hunt gifts (now available for 249 L$ and 89 L$ respectively) but Aikea Rieko has new creations to offer, so go and visit her store at the Fantasy Faire at Evensong Woods, and don't forget to pick up the two low lag avie gift packages, also by The Plastik, at the landing point.

Eyes: "Komodo Eyes" in "WisdomSage" by Sterling Artistry - this beauty is also a FF exclusive (85 L$) that you can find in Silverr's shop in Titans' Hollow.

Fantasy Faire 2012 - Hulk

„Rhurrrrrr…. rahahawRRRR! RhuawwRRRR!” The howl was bloodcurdling enough… yet something was still missing, Puwynpod thought. Maybe he should add another cadence of throaty, menacing „HrrrawwwwRRR”s? Yes, that’s it, concluded Puwynpod, and flexed his biceps. His muscles were dancing a dangerous waltz under his bright green skin, and he watched them contentedly with a thin wicked smile playing on his lips.

“I want to see your faces the next time we meet, you bloody cowards!” – Puwynpod snarled. “Oh yes, I’m going to teach you how to steal and pillage. HrrrawwwwwRRRR! Tremble, filthy worms!” Ready to fight his battle, Puwynpod rose and stood in full glory, his 3-inch-tall body erect and proud. When you’re a Green Pea Pixy and your duty is to scare away mice and snails who want to feast on the fresh crop, you must look monstruously fearsome indeed.

In addition to the “Beatrice” skins, De La Soul also has a series of beautiful male hides for the Fantasy Faire, appropriately called “Beaux”. This time I’m showing you the bright “Jade” tone... highly recommended to every aspiring Pea Pixy, or anyone who just wants a show stopper of a skin. :) Go to the “Shifting Sands” sim in order to buy it, and walk around to see some more splendid items for sale.

A Hunter's Life

Mysticina planned her look very carefully. She knew she must appear smashing, dazzling… but, first and foremost, intimidating. „Make those mortal worms tremble in awe and give you free way… yes, that’s it!” – she cackled softly, while she dabbed the dried dragon blood powder on her eyelids. Then she started working on her black mane until it looked as if she had just returned from a ruthless battle with orcs and trolls. „Excellent…” – Mysticina patted her wild locks with a satisfied half-smile. „… excellent.”

Then, the outfit. Hard, cold silver and black silk. A belt that seemed to be fabricated from werewolf fangs… she particularly loved it. Ah, the terrified yet lustful glance of that boy, he might have been a servant or a pageboy, who almost run into a wall when he caught sight of her clad like this, majestically parading along the Main Street. 

Mysticina chuckled, and picked up the demon’s claw staff… yes, this had to be the final touch, the monster’s withered fingers still clutched around the lava globe he hadn’t been willing to give up to her. „Mmmmm… perfect, just perfect!” – Mysticina was very satisfied. „But now let’s go, the Spring sale starts in a quarter of an hour, the shops will be crammed with crazy people fighting over bargains, and I just have to get those lovely boots at half price!”

Tick Tock

„If I can’t scratch my nose in a second, I’m going to die on this spot” – thought Clicketina Tock, and wriggled her nose anxiously. But when you are Universal Vice Manager of Time, you cannot just jump around and do somersaults. You accidentally push an hourglass attached to your dress, and the people living in Australia, Peru or Luxemburg realise that there’s something seriously wrong with time. A second ago they were eating lunch and suddenly it’s deep night, or they were slumbering comfortably and now there’s midday sunshine pouring into the bedroom. „Damned Chronos!” – thought Clicketina angrily. After hundreds of thousands of years of service, her boss suddenly decided to go on holidays… and, given that the length of his accrued vacation time was about fifty thousand years, Clicketina wasn’t expecting to see her boss very soon.

„How dared he leave me here, all on my own!” – grumbled Clicketina silently. „He had a great assistant, me, and now I don’t even have a third-class candidate for temporary apprenticeship to help me, and my nose itches like hell!” Clicketina tried to resist, but the itch was stronger. She started sneezing… and the people in Australia, Peru and Luxemburg fell out of their beds or dropped their spoons and looked around in utter confusion. „This is the end of the world!” – some people thought anxiously… while it was only Clicketina Tock rubbing her nose with a beatific smile on her face, and she felt she was the happiest creature in this wide, endless Universe.

Terror Frogs

The weather was perfect, the guests would arrive soon and her hair was as she wanted it. But suddenly Elise heared a frog. This was one of the worst things which could happen. A jazz concert with the constant croaking of a frog would be really annoying. First she tried to spot it in the water. But there were only fish in the water. The croaking seemed to come from an other corner. She allready started to nestle nervously at her necklace. The frog would ruin the whole concert if she would not find it soon and she had put so much work into the organisation of the event, but had not supposed that a frog could ruin her plans. Elise searched and searched finally she decided to take her glasses out of her clutch maybe she would find the frog with its help. She did not find her glasses in her clutch but a frog.

Eboni is the latest skin release from ND/MD. It is available in four skintones with four makeups in each of the skintones. The sets also contain tattoo and underwearlayers for the cleavage or pubic hair. There are also several shapes available which fit to the skin. This is the skin in natural. Moonlay one of the two designers and owners of ND/MD painted the skin nearly completly. Only for some parts of the face he used textures from a picture. The quality of the skin is amazing. Its possible to use it for many different looks it only depends on the hair and the other accessories which are being used. I decided to create a classical look. For that I choosed the shimmy dress in red from Icing. As accessory I choosed a necklace from Icing too. Its a simple pearlnecklace which fits to many dresses. The clutch belongs to an other dress from the same store.

 With the forthcoming Menstuff hunt which starts on the 3rd June just around the corner, I wanted to get a couple of sneaky pictures of things for you chaps out there just to keep you going. So here I have 2 very different looking styles. Another one of my favorite stores has this lovely gem FREE! It comes with the dress in Jacket/Shirt/Undershirt layers, and the bottom in pants and underpants! And the skirt isn't one of those little prims stuck between your legs, its an actual sculpted skirt which looks rather nice! And to complete the look is my Baxies, which are one of my favorite accessories!

Time for poppys

She was so glad that it was finally spring. The grass felt so good under her bare feet and she also had managed to get a bit tan allready. Well she had been in the sunstudio once or twice but this did not really matter.

She loved the wind in her hair and the dress she had picked for the day was perfect for the weather and the surrounding. Tonight she would be the star of the party. So it was good to have a relaxing walk before having to wear high heels the whole night.

This wonderful asymetric dress with the poppy pattern belongs to the 22769 spring collection. It is mod so its possible to make it fit smaller avatars. Over the shoulder it is worn with a prim part. This lets it look more elegant. Around the waist the dress is worn with a leather belt. As most dresses from 22769 three prim parts have been used for the skirt. One normal skirt and two parts which are worn at the legs. So its not possible that the bare legs are seeable when moving.

The lovely skin with the freckles comes from Adam n Eve. It is available in several versions. The skin is available in four tones and comes with dark and light eyebrows and pubic hair on the tattoo layer - without the eyebrows are red. There are 12 makeup versions available. I like the girl next door look a lot. The shadeing of the skin is very well made. On the upper picture are some makeups of the skin in tan and on the lower some of the pale version of the skin. All sets include a version with normal and one with enhanced cleavage. A nice little extra are the included tattoo layers for the fingernails.
The hair with the two pony tails comes from Emo-tions. It floats very nicely and is cute. The hair on the lower picture comes from Wasabi Pills.

Golden Emotions

Being dressed in gold while walking through flowers. The dress is elegant but it works for going for a walk as well as for attending an important ceremony. To say it briefly its a great dress for roleplaying.

This beautiful dress from Emotions is named Minerva. The roman virgin godess of poetry and wisdom. So its not really surprising that the dress is golden. All the primparts even the wristlets and the ones of the upper arms come with a resizescript. That means the outfit is easily to adjust. For those who prefer complete outfits is also fitting hair included. Its a good thing that Emotions is also a great store for hair that means you often get hair with an outfit. If you look at the EMO-tions blog you could see the outfit with the hair. Im very bad in makeing hair fit so i didn' t used it for the pictures. The skirt is made of lots of double layered prim parts. So it moves very nicely.

EMO-tions at the Gor Fest

On the planet Resuna all grownup women had the same skin. The reason was that only women lived on the planet and they all have been clones. The only chance they had to look different was to colour their hair and to cut it in different ways. Beside their cloning technology Resuna was a medivial planet. But that just to the background.

Persephone wanted to fight she was full of power and on the way to get the black castle back. She hoped to conquer the red sorceress. She was called red sorceress because she always wore black. And she was tricky.
When reaching the bridge which was the only way to the castle of the sorceress Persephone suddenly became rather tired. She decided to take a rest. If she would have taken a look into the water she would have seen the bones of lots of warriors who had a rest there before.
The red sorceress went regularly, whispered with her crow and performed a ritual. It was secret but worked well. She only had to do it every week.
What she didn`t knew that one of the woodrunners watched her behaviour now for several month and had also recognized that the ritual worked best when it just had been performed and got weaker at the end of the week. She also had developed a technique to rescue the tired women from the bridge. She only needed to aim well with her lasso. She rescued one or two of them every week so she hoped to have enough warriors in a year to get the castle for herself.
.:EMO-tions:. is one of the two sponsors of the GorFest & Merchant Fair 2010. A fair which helps Relay for Life. .:EMO-tions:. have a lovely tent there. They sell great medivial/fantasy outfits and stunning hair. When seeing the outfits its just obvious who much Mirja Mills, the designer of EMO-tions, loves to create them.

The serenity dress comes with a skirt in two lengthes and a shawl. The skirt has a very well made leather belt. The hair i used with the outfit is also from EMO-tions. Its named NALA and it was rather easy to make it fit my avi. I like it that it looks a bit messy.

The Persephone dress is perfect for every warrior. For owned warriors it comes with a fitting collar. I like it that the coat is attatched to the shoulder armour. The armour on the arms is asymetric so you could wear a sword on the right hand and use a shield on the left. The outfit also could work as lingerie as a thong is inclueded and the corset is very sensual. In the set are also two kinds of skirts included a closed and a open one. And what i don`t want to forget to mention the hair is included. It is side partened and contains a resize script.

Immortal is a nice red gown with a corset over the top. It has very long sleeves which follow the movements of the arms. The square neck has a black seam.

At Saturday 11 SLT a fashionshow is going to take part at the gorfest. There also outfits from EMO-tions will be shown so thats a good chance to see the dresses in 3-D.

By the way the Gor Fest is fun. The Organisators are kind and helpful and they know how to deal with lazy hatchlings.
