Starwalking

I love this hair, I mean really really love it! that's why I waited forever for my letter to come up on the lucky board. Yes I could probably have just purchased it, but that's the thing about lucky boards, the longer you wait, the more you want to so that you don't feel your time was wasted. I actually though it was the ideal opportunity to sort my shed of an inventory, kill two birds with one stone if you will and a nice cam round the store as well, is that really what lucky boards were designed to do?

 How can you not totally love these boots from Lethal Couture that come in an array of fabulous colours? they come with a hud which gives you a resize facility and the option to change the colour of the heel and zip. The shades and jacket are prizes at the easter hunt at Vero Modero which runs until the 21st and there are plenty more items to pick up too

Just a hint of colour

Primarily I based this outfit upon the skin of which I chose to blog as I find it interesting. I've only once before blogged a drow skin as quite frankly I don't find that they really differ a great deal, however this one stood out to me and I love the impact of the contrasting colour of the make up. Yes I do realise that they are designed with a fantasy theme in mind but hey this is SL and anything goes.

 So next came the hair and belt and then and then and then! I was lucky enough to get a preview of the brand new release of fabulous coat ranges from 22769 which have an animal skin/fur theme. I really couldn't decide between Zebra or reptile so it had to be decided between by the toss of a coin and so reptile won! Isn't it divine glamour?! the coats are being released today so go take a peek!

Now I should also mention that there is currently a 3 day sale event going on at Vero Modero on selected boots and shoes, the boots I wear are not part of the sale but there are some other great bargains to be had so go take a look. P.s you may notice there is a red box on the corner of the vendor for these boots it might just be a hunt gift...shhh......

Bella Bella!

What's not to love about this whole look?! The gown just speaks for itself, it's a divine colour which has brought me many compliments, the texure is fabulous and detail meets the standards that I have come to associate with Vero Modero. the hat does not come with the dress although it looks like it was made for this outfit, that's all thanks to the fact that it comes with a colour change hud. Now if hats are your thing then you MUST visit  'Xen's hats' as there are so many different designs to choose from.

As for the shape well surely only one as curvy with such a pretty face can only come from one place? yep that's CS shapes. This particular shape has lots of thigh! but as is customary with bodies. from CS shapes it's all in proportion.

A fairy tale picture

I love this gown which is a new release at Vero Modero it has an almost mystical quality to it and that is why I chose to make this picture. I decided that I wanted to make a fairy tale picture, something that I've never done before, and I think it might be fun to carry it on as a little story - OH! whatever is she looking at?  maybe a future blogpost would reveal that.....

Tweed

Loving the tweed this season thank you very much! and so the new release outfit from Vero Modero was a huge hit with me! detail on the fabric is superb too although not clearly shown in my pic as i've added a bit of opaque and sepia to give it a little vintage feel.

I happened to stumble across this cute little hair & skin store which is new to me and going to be a firm favourite too I reckon! there aren't many hair styles to choose from at the moment, but what there is I love and for only 100L for the hair I certainly can't complain. Oh p.s Fashionably dead has a half price hair sale too if you're a hair junkie like me.... woot!

Oh yes Woot! being a huge fan of all things WOot I adore these tibetan looking wood bracelets, there is a set for the left & right although I'm only wearing one set in this picture.

Kara

There are some amazing new releases at Vero Modero for men and women and this outfit is just one of them! it just so happens to be my favourite too. The kara set is a complete outfit which comprises of trousers, top & boots. I love the edgy detailing on the top, collars cuffs and ruffles are always a winner in my book.

Picking up the threads

There are many fabulous items to be picked up, what with all the new releases and so many hunts which are currently on the go that's so hard for a lady like me who has had to postpone her second life momentarily to pick up the threads. So yes I'm picking up the threads of where I left off and of course the threads as in clothes - sigh - sorry hehe.

Wuthering Heights?

In the realms of pure fantasy I am today in the most lacy racy gown which is a new release from Vero Modero . It bares an enormous amount of flesh & has a vintage feel with an almost Flamenco style quality, I defy any of you to feel anything less than sexy and desirable in it. It comes complete with dress, gloves, scarf and a wonderful headdress - not shown here.

So todays theme is Wuthering Heights, here I am  Catherine wandering the moors. Where is Heathcliff? why he is setting up picnic over there of course! since Wuthering Heights has been a ballet adaptation I found it only the more appropriate to use the most fantastic ballet style dramatic poses named 'black swan' from Isis . If you're looking for ballet style or dramatic poses there is a whole host of other ballet inspired poses there too and at 60L for 5 poses why not take the whole lot!

Tomboy chic

So I've had bohemian chic, now I'm having tomboy chic if there is even such a thing? I love this look to me it's more kind of tomboy feminine. I say that because tomboy suggest a little bit too masculine for my liking. The outfit from Vero Modero is certainly very feminine and there is such a massive range of colours to choose from that you'll find yourself wanting more than one! I love the halter neck look and this may sound odd but I especially like the detail on the bow at the back, some times those little details really make the difference.

Love the hair too it's certainly one of those must have items, and don't I look just a little bit mischievous wearing my cigarette armbrace & slingshot legbrace great fun unisex free gifts at Iren. Perhaps a little bit Lara Croft but not so energetic, I think my tomboy chic is more about lazing on the grass shooting apples of the trees than leaping into action.

Four

Here I am representing four variations of four items being, the skin, eyes, tops & headband. The skin which has to be a firm favorite of mine at the moment is Vero Modero's Burch skin, I love the detail as with all Vero Modero items but particularly it has a lovely sheen without looking too oily. I love the luscious pink glossy lips which remains the same in all the 9 variations of skin as does the skin tone, only the eyeshadows vary and all of them are tastefully vibrant colours. What I also adore about this skin is that it has a whole lot of lashes!

Birdy is fast becoming one of my favorite stores of the moment too & currently instore is a whole wall of  these tops. I am wearing just one of the styles of the sculpt tops but showing all four of the different textures, there are other slightly different styles so for example there is a style a bit more ruffle around the top yet doesn't lose the essence of the style - great to have so much choice. Have fun choosing!

Aviation

Yes Aviation and how ironic that I chose to stand by a train to pose you may well think? if I told you that aviation made it's greatest early progress in the 1920"s yes yes i'm in Berlin 1920's here....where is this going? I don't know let's get back to the fashion!

So the outfit  is named aviation - Oh wow and do I love it! it's a cleverly thought out design i'd say It has all that 1920's feel to it I could really see Harriet Quimby wearing this one!  and also my fellow blogger Sian, I think this is right up her street! there are 4 colours to choose from including a really nice citrusy one.  The boots fit perfectly too and match the belts and trim (from one of my favourite stores Les Petits details) they look like they were designed to go together don't they?

Paisley perfect

I do love pattern and confess that Paisley has always been a favorite of mine, I even covered my school bag in paisley drawings as a youth! and so I was delighted to have grabbed these fantastic Swedish clogs which are currently on promotion at 22769 for today only - 10L can you believe it?!  go grab them quick! oh but there is such a wonderful selection to choose from you won't be able to decide but I know they are going to be this summers 'must have' item!

This shorts jumpsuit which just so happens to also be emblazoned with paisley is a current favorite of mine too, oh how I wish I could wear this in RL! however my nubby legs are just not for displaying.

A taste of something oriental

LOVE this whole look! Vero Modero have come up trumps with yet another fantastic new release. This gown is quite simply amazing, I totally adore the design and feel plus the skirt has great fluid movement to it, so you feel as if you glide as you walk along. The exotic floral print is beautiful but what I particularly like is the collar and how it resembles an anthurium - stunning!

What sets the dress off perfectly is this amazing skin which is from the brand new skin & shape store Galaxy rise. This store has quite a selection a skins ranging in tones for human skins & just about every colour you can imagine in alien skins it's definitely worth a look in but don't just take my word for it check the blog for details or pop in store -  link below.

Twinkle night bargains

I've barely been in SL this week after a manic home life - still got the builders in causing havoc, I think I have noticed a few items of underwear missing too! and I won't have much left at this rate & i've been looking after 2 teeny tiny apple head babies which has perked me up no end.

Anyway when I have been in SL I have been paid a fair few compliments on this ensemble so it was imperative that I blog it. I've picked up some amazing bargains at the twinkle night bazaar ok yeah I did just about buy everything there! but everyone loves the hair! and 75L for 3 different styles surely that can't be right can it? oh yes it is go grab em quick sez I

Oh Oh and talking of bargains , well Bare sensual is quick becoming my favourite bargain skin store, I've blogged 2 from there now and have lots more to share too, there's also a really nice drow skin out at the moment which is quite a pale grey with lovely pink make up it's much more interesting than most drow skins i've seen.

Queen of the night

Oh there she goes again stealing song titles for the title of her blog posts but it was always my favourite from the magic flute. Still trying to catch up on the fabulousness! oh oh this dress! how gorgeous is it! what struck me about it's design is that how well it suits so many different genres , it's a fabulous piece of formal wear but also I love how it fits a gothic / vampiric look too oh just imagine a skin like the one that Storm blogged (don't tell him but I drool over that picture, I might run up and bite him later). Now the hair I wear is a unisex one and is a group gift at Salon de Glow, but as I went to check out the landmark the store looked a little deconstructed, so i'm not sure if it about to move or having a refit , but i'll update the post once I know more. The boots have that Victoriana feel about  them & have a squared off toe , I haven't seen many boots or shoes like that in SL so that makes me love them even more and they come in many yummy colours...ahhhhh.

Peaches & cream

I have so much fabulousness to share at the moment (yes yes I am aware that fabulousness is not a word be it should be). I am loving this new release outfit from Vero modero, which also comes in black, but I rather like the cream one.It has a lovely plunge neckline as you can see but what you can't see is that it is backless very sexy!

Oh and check out the hair! a new group gift from Exile..oh I do love some lovely flowing locks I do! and yet another great skin from Mother Goose's with juicy peachy lips, a colour that isn't so wdiely used I don't seem to think but is the perfect compliment to this whole look I'm sure you'll agree.
