Les Petits Details

This is a big whopping blog post for me! I tend to just go for the bite sized portions so i'll try to keep it to a minimum and just say what I need to. The little details make all the difference and when it comes to home items you just have to adore Cleo designs which has 3 sets available currently at The black market, I'm only displaying a couple of things from one set but wow are they cute!

So more of the little details YES! Les petits details (yes I know i'm corny) this store is a veritable sweet shop for me, I just want everything! because everything is so very pretty, feminine and utterly charming. There is a constant flow of new items that's it's just so hard to keep up!

A different me

Recently I've received some different shapes to blog, for the most part of my blogging history I've been rather attached to a shape called 'Lana' by Xanthe Audeburgh of CS shapes and as such have been very reluctant to try anything else, afterall our shape is our identity. It seems to me however, that the shape creators out there tend to get a bit of a raw deal for that very reason. A great shape can compliment and change the look of a skin dramatically so it's important to have a little experiment, most shape stores have demos and it's important to utilise that facility. Believe me there have been many times I wish I'd tried demos before I rushed to buy. Anyway this week I tried out Jemma by Bodacious bodies which a super curvy luscious lady and I Love her!

It's all in the eyes

They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul and these eyes are certainly have a lot to say but whose soul are they the window to? Well it's certainly correct to say that eyes are very important when it comes to your avatars look. It's often a part that many overlook, or find one pair that they like and stick with them but I think that's such a shame especially when there are so many fantastic eyes around even though I have a vast amount of eyes I love to collect more. Somehow these eyes seem to make me look quite sultry- nice :)

 It's just as well I have sultry eyes as they add to my little saucepot look. The top and skirt are both from Sakide and much skimpier than I am used to wearing but I couldn't help but adore these items they're cool a little flirty and I like the detail. With the skirt it's the belt and the top I just love the teasing nature of the fallen straps.

These boots!!  which are on a Midnight mania board at Death row designs are a fantastic unisex item. It was Dagmar that brought them to my attention and I'm so glad she did! Dagmar also blogged the boots HERE.

I adore this new luckyboard offering at Awram Viie the red ethnic top with it's billowy sleeves. and couldn't wait to team it up with these gorgeous shorts that I've been itching to wear. They are a marketplace special and come with with a colour change belt, shirt and the fishnet socks for 0L!

Yipee tis the season to introduce boots and I couldn't be more thrilled to own these new releases from Les Petits Details. They're so on trend I love the detail, the colour choices, everything about them - I can see these being part of just about every outfit I wear for a long time!

Plastik fantastic!

I wanted to go with a look which was a little less my usual style, of course I can't stray away too much because I like what I like and  despite me saying that's so not me" my friends would still be able identify and say "that's so Fauna!"

I've had plenty of compliments about this particular look and I love it too, so let me start with the dress which started off the whole look and the rest came together. I adore this knitted dress i'm not usually a fan of mini dresses but the gorgeous & roll neck make it so classy & sexy and can suit so many different styles, it would look fantastic for some great big para boots and ripped fishnets for a grunge look. This dress was a group gift from Plastik to celebrate Kea's birthday and was one of a unbelievably generous  whopper package which I still haven't managed to unpack!

 I wanted to carry on the knitted theme with one of my all time favorite boots from Les petits details, love these boots I wear them loads! Oh goodness and the skin! it's out brand new in store today for just 10L yes 10L you'll want to buy the whole store I tell you. I adore the tone of this skin which also has received compliments - take a closer look....

Aviation

Yes Aviation and how ironic that I chose to stand by a train to pose you may well think? if I told you that aviation made it's greatest early progress in the 1920"s yes yes i'm in Berlin 1920's here....where is this going? I don't know let's get back to the fashion!

So the outfit  is named aviation - Oh wow and do I love it! it's a cleverly thought out design i'd say It has all that 1920's feel to it I could really see Harriet Quimby wearing this one!  and also my fellow blogger Sian, I think this is right up her street! there are 4 colours to choose from including a really nice citrusy one.  The boots fit perfectly too and match the belts and trim (from one of my favourite stores Les Petits details) they look like they were designed to go together don't they?

Shades of pink

Seems like summer is the time to be hunting and indeed I have! I generally like to cover quite a few items from the hunt that I am currently undertaking, however it's been tricky for me to keep up with them all if I'm honest but here is one you won't want to miss The summer breeze hunt < (check for hints & slurls) it only runs until the end of July so don't waste anytime checking this one out! it's where i picked up this amazing outfit from Izm,  oh and by the way you're looking for a green leaf.



I really want to tell you about this great little store V.E.L which has the most wonderful make ups - not for the shy retiring types Oh no! it's edgy and vibrant and well worth a visit! there's some great creative things there so I urge you to take a sneaky peek.

Caught in the spotlight

Ok so I've been caught red handed , or rather red shirted! ....sigh sorry bad joke! but how great is this complete set which is new at Vero Modero, it comes with 2 collar sizes, in this picture I have opted for the smaller version but the larger one has a great dramatic impact.

There are so many hunts on at the moment knowing which one to choose has been hard, so I went for the zombie popcorn hunt, and have picked up some amazing items, and I intend to blog a few. I really love this skin from Natural beauty which actually has a deeper colour than my picture shows, I picked up another hunt skin while I was there, which was a super added bonus! what I adore about the skins that I have from this store is the strong colours.

It's great to pick up hunt items, which to me is a great help to choose which stores items I love the most. I only ever blog things that I really truly love....so many items so little time :)

I missed you dear blog

Arghhh I've been having internet issues for the best part of a week and although things have improved, they are still unresolved, but at least i'm back up & running in the world of blogging! oh and how I missed it. Well canIi apologise straight away if the quality of the pics isn't as good as it could be, but I was so keen to get a post published that I haven't devoted time to editing the pics...hope that doesn't defeat the object to much.

 In my first post for a week I wanted to give you a daytime  & night time look. I'm gonna be living in these dungarees! I absolutely LOVE everything from sheepdoor ! it's all unisex & so the dungarees are a great idea for change your gender challenge especially since they are a free group gift!

City chic

Loving the City Chic look for project Themeory and so these boots & bag from LPD I couldn't love more! I really love these over sized bags, none of those silly little clutch bags for me no! I want to take almost everything I own out in my handbag and have room for more purchases ,...not that any of that is important in SL LOL, but what I do like about this bag too  is the the options to wear, as I've found that the animations if some (if at all)  don't make it appear like you are holding them properly well not with this one! Oh and I adore this little neckerchief with it's option change script, which is currently a hunt item but in store there is a luckyboard with a nice spotty one on too.

Peacock lady

 After that beautiful silver bedroom suite that I blogged I fancied a great big splash of colour, and what better than this delicious bedroom suite. The bed is only shown here but the set has a wonderful canopy over the bed, chairs, shelves, table, lamp & rug. Of course when I needed a texture for the walls I thought of none other than [K.O] and I wasn't disappointed! Just when I was thinking of a colourful outfit, I get a message from dear Storm who knows I love a bargain, reminded me of the fabulous creations of Yips so I tp'd over immediately and picked up this amazing peacock outfit. Well then only one thing left to do, pick a skin to match , so this new skin (pale version) from Jesylilo just fit the bill! I love these juicy looking lips!

Les Petits details

 I absolutely adore Les petits details, there is simply not one thing in that store that I don't love, anyway I've kinda put together an eclectic mix of items from that store.  In this picture i'm actually wearing a skirt and a dress for an extra boofy petticoat look. I love the shape & texture of the dress. The boots & eyelashes are also form Les Petits details, again totally amazing items! take a closer look at these lashes! 

Aren't they amazing?! ohhh and this skin! I was only saying to Dagmar yesterday how I struggle to find skins that I really adore, then hey presto Iren comes up trumps for the fashion garret with this beautiful natural looking skin, which without the lashes has a kind of Asian feel about it around the eyes.

Good Friday

 Good Friday! well on a non-religious point, this is a fashion post afterall, I'm certainly having a good Friday so far with my bargains. Firstly I want to say a big thanks to a lovely lady who goes by the name Xanthe Audeburgh who has been feeding my hair habit! not only does she give me great tip offs as to where to get great hair, she's a fellow blogger and also has a great store that sells perfectly proportioned shapes (CS Shapes) so have a sneaky look at her blog. So it's safe to say I love this hair which is an opening gift at Holic.

I do have to say a few quick words about the skin. For some reason I've never had an addiction to skin in quite the same way that I have for hair & shoes, but recently that has changed somewhat. I love the skins at Shine and previously blogged the mix & match skin & shape gift (which is still available). They are so pretty & exoctic looking, which is quite a contrast to my usual tone so I love it. There is a MM board & luckychair instore if you want to sample them for yourself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

In which she headed for the Easter parade

Oh Easter! I get all excited about it whiffs of Chocolate and family get togethers providing many happy calorific, if not slightly embarrassing memories. If your family is anything like mine that is, yep father is guaranteed to  decorate his being with hankies & tea towels, tuck his trousers in his socks & pretend to be a Morris dancer if he feels the party spirit is anything less than lively.

So anyway I'd rather like to be part of a very civilized high tea drinking lady, for my SL easter thank you very much, no sign of drawn on moustaches and monobrows with the eyeliner 'borrowed' from my handbag. No Morris dancing or wearing anything on your head that isn't meant to be there, no fat lady in the bath jokes, ooof the list goes on! Meh!! tell you what I'll take both thanks :) right now check my very civilized Easter lady, thank you please.

I just have to mention the hair. It's a Seasons hunt gift, but I just absolutely adore the packaging it's so cute, quirky & clever. It comes in this little basket of eggs that I hold, and you simply choose the colour egg to correspond with the colour hair that you want! how fabulous!

Fresh faced for spring

Is it about time you organized your inventory, In order to  push aside those dark drab winter colours & introduce some fresh airy light springtime colours? well I certainly think so! I adore this this pretty feminine outfit, The dress  and comes in a range of beautiful pastel colours, but this green happens to be my personal favourite. It goes great with this pretty lacy bolero jacket does have an extra prim bottom which I removed for this outfit.

 Loving the skin for a fresh pretty feminine look with the  liquid eyeliner effect which I definitely favour! Oh and lets not forget these pretty sparkly eyes which have tiny flecks of pink in love it! you really must check out this eye store! so overall I'm rather pleased with my girly look.

A little Spring Seasons hunting

How many amazing hunt items are there in the new seasons hunt? blinkin loads that's what! I haven't even got a quarter of the way through, but I love everything so far! If you've not done a seasons hunt before , you need to join the group inworld, look in notices and pick up the hunt list, there are no clues that I know of, but if you're stuck ask in group and I'm sure someone will give you a hint. P.s you're looking for a lil bumble bee.I absolutely love this outfit, the colours are so vibrant and fresh! 

The glasses, jacket, and vest are hunt items but as soon as I saw this gorgeous jacket I knew instinctively what I would put with it, yes these fabulous hareem pants from 22769. They are not a hunt item, but if you want them and frankly I don't know who wouldn't?! they do come as part of an outfit along with a cute floral blouse, so you're literally getting 2 for the price of one! Oh yeah you know you can count on me for a good deal!

Gothica

Today i'm inspired by the new released boots at Skifija, which have a very Gothic feel about them. Also i've been waiting for an opportunity to wear this amazing outfit from World's end which is a free group gift , also so is the hat, and if you must know the picture was also taken at worlds end which is a totally inspiring magical creation. A must visit place if you ask me , but now i'm giving away all my little secrets aren't I?
