Puss in boots

I only put the title for this blog post 'puss in boots' for the very fact that I'm certain that any image of the 'Puss' in any version of the story varies to some degree apart from the boots! I'm convinced of it he wears these boots in every picture and maybe that's why I like them so much, that's all nothing more. Well they're from Baby monkey and come in a variety of colours and look pretty splendid with my freebie nordic style wooly socks from NoaR, which by the way have a freebie blue version too. Following my freebie quest I picked up this delightful sweater which is the current group gift at NuDoLu, other freebie thingies listed below.

To catch a snowflake

Should the approach of winter be bleak? no! it should be full of wonderful vibrant winter colours! and I love nothing more than fabulous shades of purple and pink! and that's one reason that I was drawn to these amazing boots from Kristica created as a special limited offer for XYROOM (events run for 3 weeks before rotation)

This divine unisex hair is a current group gift at Dura and the scarf is also a group gift at SMS which comes in 2 colours with and without the brooch option. Gotta love this jumper which is a luckyboard item at Bonne Chance, there's also a mens version in green on the boards.

Now I hate to blog items that are no longer available and it annoys me when I see other blog posts that do as it always seems to be that I only want the item that is not available! however sometimes you put a look together and it's only when you go in store to make a slurl that you realise this error. The great news is in the case there are similar alternatives available. The trousers were a halloween gift at Pesca which are no longer available, however there are some very similar ones in different shades if you like the style. Likewise with the skin (former Zombie popcorn hunt item) but if you want a great freebie gift skin, and you do follow the slurl below the eagle eyed amongst you may still be able to catch the recent zombie popcorn hunt item which although has finished now is still in store.

And it feels like summer!

For the first time in weeks it actually feels like summer! Ok I'm British we like to talk about the weather! so I guess that is what inspired this picture. Last week Margaux Dufaux blogger at Freebiefashionista asked "what is your must have summer item" to which I piped up "wedgie sandals!" and it's true my favourites are from J's and the Fae wedgies from Pixel mode but was I thrilled when I saw these little beauties as a group gift at BWC club to add to the summer must haves!  - great place to hang out too!



Had to do a little close up shot so that you would be able to appreciate the jewelry a little better. I just adore these earrings that are little birds in a cage from Natural, how fabulously creative! I came across this store when doing the black Butler hunt Oh and it has the cutest little items it's a gem of a store in my opinion & lots of bargains to be had, so i'm sure i'll be blogging more things from that store! Just need my picnic basket , a good book and off we go......

Can't beat candy stripes

Well I've been out of blogging action for the best part of a week, mostly due to RL goings on, but I took this picture over a week ago, so I know that the Taste of SL hunt will be well underway by now. The lounge set shown here is only a selection of the whole set which is Dreamscapes art galleries offering to the hunt. Can you believe you get a whole lounge set as a free gift?! the quality is fantastic too and the design is right up my alley. See previous post for more details of the Taste of Sl blog.

Oh but this outfit I adore and I've had more compliments about the jacket from Villena. There is quite a range of colours to choose from too and an absolute steal at 180L. For me this outfit encapsulates some of the finest quality items in SL and I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to wear these boots now I have a new viewer that allows the alpha layer yes yes I know it's old news, while everyone is getting excited about depth of field & shadows hehe, notice no shadows here folks I may get those in the year 2014. *trots off to get blogging organised*

Caught in the spotlight

Ok so I've been caught red handed , or rather red shirted! ....sigh sorry bad joke! but how great is this complete set which is new at Vero Modero, it comes with 2 collar sizes, in this picture I have opted for the smaller version but the larger one has a great dramatic impact.

There are so many hunts on at the moment knowing which one to choose has been hard, so I went for the zombie popcorn hunt, and have picked up some amazing items, and I intend to blog a few. I really love this skin from Natural beauty which actually has a deeper colour than my picture shows, I picked up another hunt skin while I was there, which was a super added bonus! what I adore about the skins that I have from this store is the strong colours.

It's great to pick up hunt items, which to me is a great help to choose which stores items I love the most. I only ever blog things that I really truly love....so many items so little time :)

Gold & Green

Well I just went for a short shopping trip and look what happens to my transport while i'm away! now if anyone happens to find my horse & cart be sure to let me know won't you.

I've been wanting to wear this delight of a top that I won on a luckyboard at Pesca for quite some time, but couldn't decide if I should take advantage of the resize script and wear it as a dress or a top. That was only until I received these amazing chinos as a group gift at Wave, then I knew in an instant what to wear them with. Incidentally I think these chinos make a great unisex item.
