A small taste of Sl week 61

And for todays look I shall be mostly imitating Alice in her whimsical wonderland, but let me start by talking about Taste of SL. The theme this week is 'wet & wild' and I've picked a couple of my favorites from that event, for 2 reasons. I love the items of course but I also very much like the creators interpretation of the theme. First is this totally gorgeous washstand from Dreamscapes art gallery it's so pretty and I totally love the accessories.

Next is the 'I'm not feeling very well' eyes from Izzie's which has various options  of which I am wearing a very subtle version but there are sad eyebrow shapes, tears with or without run mascara and 4 different shades of eye colour.  I think this is such a great item, i've seen run mascara & tears before but nothing with such great detail and options as this package.

The rest of the outfit consists of a pretty floral & gingham print dress which is a monthly 1L item at Humming and the undershirt is just the vest layer, collar & cuffs of the 'Bow shirt' from the Coco sale.

Jennifer

Well folks meet Jennifer she is the latest shape release at CS Shapes and I love her! Jennifer has been designed with a Brazilian body form in mind, so she is tall, leggy and has fabulous curves in all the right places & as you can see has the perfect pout! Where better to pick up a skin to match the shape than Shine who caters for Brazilian type skins. I've blogged Shines skins before and they're fantastic (p.s there is an mm board & luckychair there too).

If you're not familiar with CS Shapes then you should be because for me Xanthe Audeburgh gets the proportions absolutely perfect and I'm sure you'll agree we've all tried making our own shapes & it's much harder than you would think. CS Shapes has both male & female shapes & there are demos to try out so you can find the perfect you!

 Throughout my whole time in sl I kept the shape I made for myself  on my very first day, until  that is, I picked up Lana at CS Shapes at the surf N skate hunt. What  occurred to me  most about having this new shape is how great other skins looks on it, I'd tried so many skins in the past that didn't seem to suit my shape, REALLY!...sounds odd I know but it's true, so it just goes to show what difference a greatly designed shape makes!

Can't beat candy stripes

Well I've been out of blogging action for the best part of a week, mostly due to RL goings on, but I took this picture over a week ago, so I know that the Taste of SL hunt will be well underway by now. The lounge set shown here is only a selection of the whole set which is Dreamscapes art galleries offering to the hunt. Oh but this outfit I adore and I've had more compliments about the jacket from Villena. There is quite a range of colours to choose from too and an absolute steal at 180L. For me this outfit encapsulates some of the finest quality items in SL and I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to wear these boots now I have a new viewer that allows the alpha layer yes yes I know it's old news, while everyone is getting excited about depth of field & shadows hehe, notice no shadows here folks I may get those in the year 2014. *trots off to get blogging organised*

Hot pants! sssssss

Trying to walk down a glass staircase is never easy at the best of times, especially when teetering around in heels and being aware that you're wearing the the shortest of shorts! ok ok they're hot pants and aren't they just the most amazing hot pants you've ever seen! I felt super glam in this outfit today that I just fancied walking around the most populated areas jiggling my little bottom ...well that was the plan but lag made me walk into a river instead! no so glam pfft! Anyway pick up a pair of these hoty hoty hot pants by joining LeeZu group or in fact try joining Vain inc group there a few more little gifties in the notices too!

Finally culottes!! ok so with this whole outfit they're a little more like hareem pants, but they're culottes really they are! IZM has come good yet again, and not only by providing us culottes (yeah yeah the culotte thing was a personal challenge of mine) but they put them on the lucky board! eeeeeeeeeek! so they come complete with the belt and cute embroidered bag attached, also with the leggings with tie around the knee.I have a feeling these with be a firm favourite of mine for a long time.

In which I grab my purse and head to the shops

It's not often you can say that when you pick up your purse that it has more in it than the last time you looked! but that happened to me today and I think it was the work of pixies, I love pixies! ;P If you want a purse like mine (contents excluded) go grab this group gift at autre. Whilst you're out pick up this shirt on the lucky board at !1mm. There are 2 different coloured versions at the both stores and come with a tie, however I detached it and added a scarf instead. I picked up this pink version at the main store.
