Puss in boots

I only put the title for this blog post 'puss in boots' for the very fact that I'm certain that any image of the 'Puss' in any version of the story varies to some degree apart from the boots! I'm convinced of it he wears these boots in every picture and maybe that's why I like them so much, that's all nothing more. Well they're from Baby monkey and come in a variety of colours and look pretty splendid with my freebie nordic style wooly socks from NoaR, which by the way have a freebie blue version too. Following my freebie quest I picked up this delightful sweater which is the current group gift at NuDoLu, other freebie thingies listed below.

A great way to start December!

Stand out in pixels

Indeed  isn't that what we want to do, stand out in the pixels! make your fashion statement, that's the most wonderful thing about SL fashion. We don't have to worry about body hang ups or what's appropriate for age and as such can wear absolutely anything we like!

I'm totally into these new 'jeggings' at Love - not quite jeans, not really leggings but they're fabulously tight and can be worn on their own or under a skirt as jeans or as leggings - great!

Now here are some freebie gifts that you simply must grab. Firstly the skin in the 'Diamond is mine' hunt (more details can be found HERE you're looking for a diamond hint is next to new skin)  It's from Jesylilo which is always quality and has fabulous tones. The eyeshadow is a lovely green shade which cannot be seen in my pics as i'm wearing shades which also happen to be another great group gift from Le Poppycock.

Some things that should not be missed!

I have so many things that I want to blog about right now so i'll start with a few that simply should not be missed! This skin which is high on the list of my favourites the current group gift at Al Vulo. The eyes come in a set of four and all of them simply stunning and are a special edition so grab them quick!

Silver jeans!! simply gorgeous & funky & on the luckyboard at Awram Viie - go grab! I love all things stigma and so when I saw that the store was participating in the American Bazaar birthday hunt I had to go get them, they're actually much much nicer than my picture portrays.

 New hair at Exile - the hairs there just get better and better! The shoes and bag are a gift at Mischief and last but not least the top which has the most wonderful pattern and feminine frilly underlayer is a hunt item at Nudolu for the your inner bunny. The bunting in the background is also from Nudolu hunt for 15L.

The gallery gift shop

There are so many great  themed events going on in SL & I often wonder  how people just know about these things, more often than not I just happen to find out by chance & so when I do I want to share it. Well here are a couple of my finds, firstly I want to mention the eyes aren't they amazing! well they're from Sterling Artistry (yes Dagmars favourite eye store) which have a weekly deal offering a pair of eyes for 10L, so this particular pair won't be around long but you'll be sure to pick up another equally wonderful pair for a bargain price.

Next is The Gallery gift shop, where a whole load of designers/ artists display their goods which gets rotated on a monthly basis. There is a whole host of different things there and  you won't find them in the sellers own stores. I especially like this outfit from 22769 (male version available too) in particular the cuffs, I love that kind of detail!

Then last but not least the seasons hunt i'm sure you're all well aware of this one (you're looking  for a shark), I've been waiting to do this hunt with a lovely friend but we keep missing each other, so I sneakily picked up a couple of the hunt items already, shhh don't tell her! anyway please check this link for the store listings & landmarks. Freebies in between

I d like to show some freebies i got on my ways through second life in the last days. On the left and the right side is a latex lowrise outfit i got from the midnight mania board at SKINwalkers. I like the cut of the trousers and well the shirt is short and hot. The blue dotted sweater is a gift from :NuDoLu. At the same place i won the blue trousers on the lucky board. The black dress was on the midnight mania board at PiNkMaReS HoUsE . It comes with a hat and has a bow on the back.
