Endless Summer beach stroll...

Chloe had walked along the beach, mile after mile, the sun riding high in the sky, her feet pressing shallow imprints in the wet sand. The flipflops were no hindrance on her stroll, the feeling of the sand between her toes was just about her favourite thing in the world.  She would pause from time to time, picking up shells, marvelling as the softest tones of pinks, blues and browns merged, fading into creams and whites. Some, she would slip into her pockets, to add to her collection at home, others, she would skim into the waves, recycling the minute homes of the sea creatures for another generation under the sea.

The sun on her skin was hot as the thin high clouds scudded lightly out to sea. Waves crashing against the rocky outcrops and reefs in the cove were the soundtrack to her walk, adding a pounding rhythm to the soft tune she hummed as she walked along. Further along the shore she saw a group she knew, surfboards jammed into soft sand, watching the waves. Raising her hand to wave, the filpflops she carried clunked lightly together in her grip, showering her with falling grains of sand. Rolling her eyes at herself, she laughed softly, and ran along the waters edge to join her friends.

Danger! Danger! High Voltage Hunt!

Esmerelda tapped a fingertip against the mic in her hand, checking for the soft electrical hiss, the gentle scream of feedback. She always enjoyed this moment the most. Behind the curtain, feeding from the anticipation rising in the crowd beyond. The general hubbub of noise stilled at the sound from the speakers, feet stopped shuffling. Chairs grated against the floor as the audience, in their intimate little enclaves, turned to face the curtained stage, cocktail glasses and larger pint mugs thumping dully onto tables covered in stained velvet. Hands brought together in a slow beat, one that was getting faster and louder, matching the rhythm of the drums that had begun to swell on the stage.  The lights in the auditorium faded to blackness, leaving only a soft glow around the edges of the curtains.

A flash of light blinded the room as the curtains fell away, a hum of electricity filled the space, arcs of power crackling and jumping across the stage like luminous deadly snakes. Her outline shone, black against all this light as the crowd, from stunned silence, burst into screams and applause. Spotlights found her, the air alive with static as she stood in the midst of it all, skin aglow in the lights, the dark ink of its markings seeming alive and moving in the flickering glare. She raised both hands, bending and bowing to the audience, the skintight dress she wore barely covering what it was meant to, she was bringing the microphone to her painted lips, stepping toward the edge of the stage as the first scream of guitars began behind her.. "Are you ready to ROCK?"

What's going on?

I'll tell you what is going on! well there's a sale on hairs at Tameless so I'll have some of that thank you, the hair in this picture is discounted but it's not in store it's as it's for the 'stuff in stock' event. Stuff in stock is a new event  and this round runs until 1st March, all items vary between 30 - 80L. Then there's a mini carnival hunt at censored where I picked up this lovely little denim mini skirt. A few of my favs from the Christmas XYROOM

Waaaaah!! way way too many things to blog so little time! so I'll cut the waffle (well as much as is possible for me!) and tell you the things I think you should know about these items. Let's start with the hair which is a current subscribo gift at Exile which also has another style in a black colour.

The biker jacket from Skifija has a colour changeable hud which literally has a million colours and modifiable options and makes for most adaptable item in your inventory (unless of course you have shoes from Skifija too which mostly also offer this hud).

The top has a prim collar which I can only describe as an amazing cleopatra style bib collar - would have loved to have worn it but it didn't look right with this jacket, plus I like the halter-neck look too so in effect you have two looks in one.

These gorgeous shoes remind me of being a small girl and clomping around in my socks with Mummies shoes on (much to her horror)  I love them!! and the socks have 18 changeable colour options. last but not least is the shape which is also an XYroom special and comes complete with a bikini and physics i.e bouncy boobies!

My LOTD

More yummy new things! I adore this poncho and sweater combo created by 22769 which is currently at The Gallery Gift Store. The outfit includes shorts, however I do not display them in my picture but the wonderful chunky knit tights are part of the outfit and it has received many compliments whilst i've been wearing it. Hop down there and grab this totally unique creation while you can says I!

The skin is from Love and I simply have to gush about for it's totally flawless quality. There are different shades available and what is so lovely about it is that it really is a perfect flawless base in which to add your own make up. There are many make up options to choose from in store too so you'll have tons of fun choosing. I have picked a heavy eyeliner as I love pale lips and smoky eyes, however I have to add the range of eyeliner options is incredible and as such there'll be one to suit any taste. What better to frame my perfect eyes!

 I have a vast collection of eyes but I always find myself  coming back to the ones Aphotic Gloom and what's more Is I discovered a new range to add to my collection!! how excited was I?! really honestly do go take a look on what is available. What I love most about these eyes is that you have the option of sizes which is perfect for me as I always complain that the irises seem too big for my eyes so I always choose small, they come with prim eyes too for extra wow factor!

Black swan

The black swan caught Jade's attention when she was visiting her palace in the north of the golden empire. The empire has been reigned by her family for ages and it was planed that Jade would be the next queen. She was not really glad about this but was willing to bear the duties which would come with that title. As all future queens she was sent on a journey through the empire to get to know the different parts and to meet as many citizens as possible. It was very exhausting and Jade was angry at herself that she accepted to reign. But she knew that somebody had to and did not want that somebody would gain the power who would not care about the empire. So she finally got to the last corner of the empire and during an event where she had to meet many of the local notabilities she saw the swan. Jade followed the animal into the forest and was stunned. She never had been alone in a forest and this was a lost one. People said she had only been a few minutes in the forest but for Jade it was like hours. Her trip to nature changed her a lot and when she finally became queen she took care very well of the lands and a black swan was her heraldic animal.

Icing takes part in the Vintage Fair and created a set of wonderful dresses because of that. This is the pink version of the dress. It comes with a fitting hat with veil. The primparts are mod and its possible to make the skirt smaller, which means it also fits small avatars. The systemparts of the dress come on all layers. There is also an alphalayer included which hides some parts between the thights and the hips so that the butt can not poke through the skirt.
The pose is a new release from juxtapose. They are still available at their store at Jersey Shore for 50 L$

[on the way towards stage]

Adrenaline was seeping from his body just like the first hint of anticipating sweat, bemusing his surroundings with the thick, musky perfume of his tension while his heartbeat increased to a level not even their drummer in one of his brilliant solos could reach. He could feel them, those subtle, yet electrifying vibrations of desire from the crowd, radiating through steel and concrete, letting his baby hair raise stand on end. They wanted him. They needed him. And they were loving him, too - eager to get a shot of the drug that was his mesmerizing voice. He paused in his track and looked up towards the ceiling, his words speaking of admiration and wonder. "Can you hear them shouting?" Catching the guitarist's grin from the corner of his eyes, he shivered as the hoarse voice reached his ears. "They're shoutin' for you, man - just for you..."



Lately, I never manage to resist whatever gorgeous hairstyle lamb! puts out at Collabor88, and so I found myself leaving with two of the color-packs once again. As you can see, the style called 'Phenomena' is definitely unisex - it comes with matching hairbases, but I'm using another since I didn't want to go for the totally shaven look in these pictures. The pants have been a lucky find for me, too: I really love wearing knee-high (combat) boots, but the usual pants either make your legs look like a stork, or they're hiding most of the shoe with their cuffs. These cargo pants from RONSEM, however, have two different styles of cuffs, one to show your shiny boots off and other, regular one, for those days when you haven't polished them nicely. Said footwear are the rather classic looking combat boots from Abyss which I'm still loving hard because of their stunning textures.

For the birds

Finn was waiting for the right moment then he would start to play his flute. It was important to catch the right moment for that at least as faun. His tunes would let the trees grow bigger, the flowers become more colourful and the bushes would carry more berries at the end of the summer.

In the right moment he started to play. It was important to start playing at exactly the right moment. Else the berries would be ripe to late or to soon. Both would be against the natural balance. Finn mainly cared about berries. He normaly ate only fruits. Other Fauns cared about other plants.

Nila, his sister, cared about flowers. She loved how they looked and spend even time among them while she wasn't playing for them. When she heared the first tones of Finn's flute she knew that she also needed to start playing. She always had problems to find the exact moment. She felt guilty when she recognized that she left her flute at a tree. But she luckily was quick.

With some wide jumps she was back in the forest and found the flute. She had used it to play for some squirrells who had asked her to take care that they would have more nuts this year. Later she would help Finn to let more berries grow. Some birds wanted some and Nila loved animals as much as flowers.

Some time ago I blogged the awesome Cyborg suit from ND/MD. The faun avatars come from the same store. They are complete avatars that means the set includes the legs, shapes, skin, clothing hair, eyes, ears, horns, tail and even a flute. The tail and the horns come in two versions one with facelight and one without. The fauns are small the girl is 1,3m or 4 feet and 4 inches tall the boy is 1,35m or 4 feet 44 inches tall. Both avatars could be worn with or without the dots on the skin as those come on the tattoo layer. The clothes come on the undies layer (if you need them on more layers send the designer a message and he will make them for you). The hooves are resizeable so it is possible to wear them with a bigger avi. The skin also fitted my normal shape and its of course the same with the ears, horns, tail and eyes. It is amazing how well the clothing and the skin are shaded. The lights are placed exactly where they should be and I love the huge brown eyes.

Training in the cellar

Ingrid spend too much time in the dark. Even for a horsegnome she was way too pale. Sometimes her friends tried to figure out why she spend all the time in the cellar. But Ingrid always told them that she would unsun herself. The most supposed this would be a lie and they were right. She was searching for a treasure. Or more she was training treasure searching. Some time ago she had met a dwarf who was totally obsessed by gold. All dwarf seemed to be that way but he liked gold even more than a normal dwarf. So when he got to know Ingrid he knew that she would be great to find treasures. They started to train in the cellar, the dwarf hid something under the floor and Ingrid used her hooves to hear if there was any difference in the ground. She really became good in hearing the smallest hollow space just by listening to the sound her hooves made. And the training really helped they found many treasures and even the dwarf becamse so rich that he started to prefer searching for the next pub instead of the next treasure.

Hoo has a lot of cute stuff and those dress and the digigrade legs are on their lucky chairs. I really like the texture of the dress it looks like being made of felt. The dress comes also with a collar which consists of two parts and sleeves. It is possible to make the lower part of the sleeves smaller. The legs come with alphalayers. They fit smaller avatars very well. I won the hair at the A&Y Lucky board. There is a lot of cyberish hair on that board. It comes with resizescript and it is possible to colour the black streaks in other colours than black.
