Ever wondered where all those metal heads in SL are hiding? They already seem to be a rather rare species in RL, at least where I'm living - and if we're talking about those people whose outfit tells you what music they might like. It doesn't seem to be much different in Second Life, so I was having some trouble to dress accordingly to my (musical) mood when I recently re-discovered my love for Black Metal. Thankfully, there is certainly no lack of awesome leather pants and net shirts in our little world, so the basics were there, and I remembered the Cake hair I'd bought ages ago and which matched the look perfectly, but... the rest?

While looking through old screenshots, my eyes caught a pair of spiked armbands I was wearing on one, and after some research, I also remembered the store's name: [SP] - Spider Productions, established in 2005. This shop does not only sell spikes, studs, and everything that looks awesome when you're going for a darker look, but also stunning hybrid avatars (such as dragons), armor, jewellery and accessories, weapons and much more! And they also have a bunch of Lucky Boards out, in case you want to check on their quality first. The boots I'm wearing in this post, for example, are one of the Lucky Board prices and greatly textured, plus: easy to resize. A:S:S's latest release, the more-than-awesome Count-corpse paints (you can choose from a variety of 10, or simply grab the fatpack) added the final touch to my outfit.

Adrenaline was seeping from his body just like the first hint of anticipating sweat, bemusing his surroundings with the thick, musky perfume of his tension while his heartbeat increased to a level not even their drummer in one of his brilliant solos could reach. He could feel them, those subtle, yet electrifying vibrations of desire from the crowd, radiating through steel and concrete, letting his baby hair raise stand on end. They wanted him. They needed him. And they were loving him, too - eager to get a shot of the drug that was his mesmerizing voice. He paused in his track and looked up towards the ceiling, his words speaking of admiration and wonder. "Can you hear them shouting?" Catching the guitarist's grin from the corner of his eyes, he shivered as the hoarse voice reached his ears. "They're shoutin' for you, man - just for you..."



Lately, I never manage to resist whatever gorgeous hairstyle lamb! puts out at Collabor88, and so I found myself leaving with two of the color-packs once again. As you can see, the style called 'Phenomena' is definitely unisex - it comes with matching hairbases, but I'm using another since I didn't want to go for the totally shaven look in these pictures. The pants have been a lucky find for me, too: I really love wearing knee-high (combat) boots, but the usual pants either make your legs look like a stork, or they're hiding most of the shoe with their cuffs. These cargo pants from RONSEM, however, have two different styles of cuffs, one to show your shiny boots off and other, regular one, for those days when you haven't polished them nicely. Said footwear are the rather classic looking combat boots from Abyss which I'm still loving hard because of their stunning textures.

Ashton, the new group-freebie from -Belleza-, is a face that could be seen quite often on the feeds during the past days - nonetheless, I couldn't help but to wonder who he reminded me of once I slipped into the skin. After a good while, and after deciding on a proper haircut, I had an epiphany: Ashton had a touch of younger Sean Penn!

I am convinced that your devoted assistant will clean up after the police has secured your corpse, though - not that you need to worry about it anymore, but still...

A little hunt-quickie post about the [:Where is...HunT:] and two unisex items I found so far (I just started out, but I couldn't resist blogging them already!). The hunt runs from May, 1st - May 22nd and you are looking for... a donut. Cynful is the starting location, and there is also an inworld-group you might want to join in case you're getting stuck.

And there was a certain silence at the end of the first day of them all that was the beginning of a myriad of sunrises and -downs, a silence not even the soft whispers of rolling waves and the birds' drowsy tweets managed to fill. Sounds speaking of passion and loss, like the voice of a shadow-veiled seducer rolling from a luring tongue, noises that would touch the longing heart and would make it want to sing along to the melody of creation wafting through warm air. Like caressing a long-missed lover, he let his fingertips brush over the curves of polished wood and strings made of steel, enjoying the subtle susurration and vibrations of a yet unknown song - and he knew that it was good.



A little ode to solitude and the beauty of music in this post about the colour "eggplant" for Luna Jubilee's blogger challenge. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the last two colours and am still trying to get back into the vibe, so I chose a rather calm motive and soft colours to go with this picture to lure the muse back into my mind again. Crawling out of the coffin and being too lazy and comfortable to change, this is what I ran around like inside of the house just until now. The undies, which are actually swimming trunks, are VITAMEN'S freebie for February, and I really like the bold, floral print in black on white.
