We Love 22769

This blog post is dedicated to Manuel Ormidale & Paco Pooley the creative souls of the store & brand 22769, not only am I a fan of their designs & work (I especially love the textures used in their creations) but I adore them as people too! It's pretty hard not to actually as they are 2 of the most warm hearted, fun, down to earth people you're ever likely to have the privilege of coming into contact with.

My fellow adorable blogger Dagmar Haiku loves them so much that she decided to dedicate an exhibition to them at Lust4Art an art gallery which she succesfully manages. It is essentially  a collection of works from friends and bloggers dedicated to the designs of 22769. A few of my favs from the Christmas XYROOM

Waaaaah!! way way too many things to blog so little time! so I'll cut the waffle (well as much as is possible for me!) and tell you the things I think you should know about these items. Let's start with the hair which is a current subscribo gift at Exile which also has another style in a black colour.

The biker jacket from Skifija has a colour changeable hud which literally has a million colours and modifiable options and makes for most adaptable item in your inventory (unless of course you have shoes from Skifija too which mostly also offer this hud).

The top has a prim collar which I can only describe as an amazing cleopatra style bib collar - would have loved to have worn it but it didn't look right with this jacket, plus I like the halter-neck look too so in effect you have two looks in one.

These gorgeous shoes remind me of being a small girl and clomping around in my socks with Mummies shoes on (much to her horror)  I love them!! and the socks have 18 changeable colour options. last but not least is the shape which is also an XYroom special and comes complete with a bikini and physics i.e bouncy boobies!

My LOTD

More yummy new things! I adore this poncho and sweater combo created by 22769 which is currently at The Gallery Gift Store. The outfit includes shorts, however I do not display them in my picture but the wonderful chunky knit tights are part of the outfit and it has received many compliments whilst i've been wearing it. Hop down there and grab this totally unique creation while you can says I!

The skin is from Love and I simply have to gush about for it's totally flawless quality. There are different shades available and what is so lovely about it is that it really is a perfect flawless base in which to add your own make up. There are many make up options to choose from in store too so you'll have tons of fun choosing. I have picked a heavy eyeliner as I love pale lips and smoky eyes, however I have to add the range of eyeliner options is incredible and as such there'll be one to suit any taste. What better to frame my perfect eyes!

 I have a vast collection of eyes but I always find myself  coming back to the ones Aphotic Gloom and what's more Is I discovered a new range to add to my collection!! how excited was I?! really honestly do go take a look on what is available. What I love most about these eyes is that you have the option of sizes which is perfect for me as I always complain that the irises seem too big for my eyes so I always choose small, they come with prim eyes too for extra wow factor!

Crazy birds

Sticking out the tongue to a bird which is always trying to build its nest in front of the window. But it did not help. The bird supposed there woud be food on the tongue and flipped out even more. Sometimes its not a really smart idea to have a tattoed tongue.

Dimbula has new skins on their lucky boards. This pretty one with the yellow/orange lips and makeup is one of them. The tongue is a huntgift at Glue Ink in the where is hunt. In this hunt you have to search for a donut. As the tongue is scripted it is possible to change the tattoo on the skin or to wear it without the tattoo. Bukka put this stripped sweater on their lucky chair. The lower part is scripted and could be worn long or short. On the picture is the short one. Poison has always great gifts on their midnight mania board. This jeans are currently on the board. They are unisex and look torn and bleached.

Bad karma?

Bad karma? is that the message on this wonderful chunky knit jumper dress? possibly, that's what you may think having seen the front with the skull & crossbones, and  emblazoned on the back are the words 'karma', but since this dress is totally free i'd say it's all good karma! by the way I haven't taken these Bukka freebie boots off yet, as you can see! When out bargain hunting why not pop down to the buzzurl bazaar and pick up a few fabulous 49L items like this scarf from Chocolate Atelier. There are many various items to choose form , from some great designers, but I can never resist a scarf.

In which she gets the boots she's been longing for...

Yes, here I am in the Bukka lucky board boots that I have been stalking for days, if not weeks! If I'm not the last person in the whole of Second life to have them, then go there immediately and don't leave until you have them! they are free & I can't believe it! It's going to be just like when I was a young girl (tomboy rather),  and I wore my sacred boots. My mother still teases me now that I slept in them,  I loved them so much, that she couldn't prize them off of me! Oh and while you're out shopping pick up these other bargains That I managed to grab.....*skips off clumsily & pretends to be the 8 year old petrol pump attendant again*

"A good discussion is like a miniskirt..

One of my current pet peeves with clothing in SL is the mini-skirt with the prim panel sandwiched between the legs. But this LeLutka mini-skirt is nicely sculpted so it doesn't look like it's hanging from between your tush. Here I teamed it up with with everyone's favorite - A&M's "Hole" swimsuit/top (layered). The red Lelutka skirt is a group gift for Avenue Magazine Readers.
