Just a hint of colour

Primarily I based this outfit upon the skin of which I chose to blog as I find it interesting. I've only once before blogged a drow skin as quite frankly I don't find that they really differ a great deal, however this one stood out to me and I love the impact of the contrasting colour of the make up. Yes I do realise that they are designed with a fantasy theme in mind but hey this is SL and anything goes.

 So next came the hair and belt and then and then and then! I was lucky enough to get a preview of the brand new release of fabulous coat ranges from 22769 which have an animal skin/fur theme. I really couldn't decide between Zebra or reptile so it had to be decided between by the toss of a coin and so reptile won! Isn't it divine glamour?! the coats are being released today so go take a peek!

Now I should also mention that there is currently a 3 day sale event going on at Vero Modero on selected boots and shoes, the boots I wear are not part of the sale but there are some other great bargains to be had so go take a look. P.s you may notice there is a red box on the corner of the vendor for these boots it might just be a hunt gift...shhh......

Homage to tiny bird

It's been a while since I blogged some glorious bargains and so I thought it was high time that I picked out some great quality free/bargain goods and I must say I am thrilled with my finds.
Firstly I popped down to Savior hair, the freebie hair store as I haven't been there in ages! and squealed with delight when I saw this hair by tiny bird as I was ever so sad when that store closed.
The blouse is a freebie from Jack spoon which is certainly worth a look around as there are some super cute items at super cute prices.
Pick up the sash along with lots of other goodies in a bag at Meena. The divine almost net like skirt is a luckyboard item at Y&R and last but not least my bargain items from the next round at  XYROOM where all items are less than 100L  the bag comes with a belt  by WOot & skin by Modish is 99L what a bargain! both from XYROOM.

Shoes shoes shoes!

My favourite shoe designer Goran Osterham Of Skifija has just released some fabulous new shoes 'Mistress serpents' which I want to gush about for so many reasons. It's a totally unique sculpt, the quality is amazing, attention to  detail is fabulous but a culmination of all these things paired with the fact he gives you a hud with every pair of shoes that enables you so many options it's just incredible and makes for a rather special mix - hence why I am such a fan!

At first I said to Goran don't bamboozle us with so many options! his reply was that yes it might seem a little overwhelming at first but once you start to play you will love! and he was so right I did start to play and couldn't stop. Basically Goran sells you a pair of shoes that will adapt to any outfit. You'll always be able to get the colour perfect! I have to say that my favourite feature of the hud is 'the shiny' I love the glossy look that you can achieve with this. I know I'm such a magpie! shiny demonstration below.



To coincide with the new release of the Mistress Serpents shoes Goran has reduced the price of some other items in store - not that he really needs to as the prices are so unbelievably reasonable anyway.

Smart Casual

I think just about everyone has gone a little crazy over the current Coco sale and it's no wonder when such fantastic quality items are half price! lets just say I've bought enough to keep me happy for a while but what I especially liked out of all my new purchases there was these Cargo shorts.

They are a much baggier fit for women's shorts than i've seen in SL and I actually think they make a great unisex item. They'd look great with sneakers or ballet pumps but today I fancied dressing them up slightly for a more smart casual look which I think actually works really well. I really love these wedge pumps from BM , loving the ruffle straps of the ruffled top from birdy too.

Yaki & Yeti jewelry is always a winner with me but I really ought to mention the hair which I think is wonderful and would also look amazing with a gown or more formal attire. I picked it up at Savoir hair, there's a notecard with the hair that says Darkerside hairs are only available now on the marketplace,. Having been so impressed with this one I was eager to check out more however sadly there doesn't even appear to be any available, after looking at the creators profile it would appear that other things have become more important, being the most adorable little baby boy and quite right too! well I'm still thrilled to have been able to get this hair that's for sure!

Paperwork

Paperwork could be rather annoying sometimes. So what to do when simply having to much of it. A.E.METH has a solution for her paperwork she put it into a dress and gives it away as gift. It could be worn either as gown with chest ruffles or if your avi is a bit smaller simply wear it as cocktail dress. It looks great in either way. Wildeagle combined the dress with some great freebies and dollarbies. The red hair is a gift from Hazard Kitty, available at savoir hair. The skin was a gift from By Alexxis in the Hunnee Bee Hunt. Her high heels are a dollarbie from multiple personality designs.
