Just a hint of colour

Primarily I based this outfit upon the skin of which I chose to blog as I find it interesting. I've only once before blogged a drow skin as quite frankly I don't find that they really differ a great deal, however this one stood out to me and I love the impact of the contrasting colour of the make up. Yes I do realise that they are designed with a fantasy theme in mind but hey this is SL and anything goes.

 So next came the hair and belt and then and then and then! I was lucky enough to get a preview of the brand new release of fabulous coat ranges from 22769 which have an animal skin/fur theme. I really couldn't decide between Zebra or reptile so it had to be decided between by the toss of a coin and so reptile won! Isn't it divine glamour?! the coats are being released today so go take a peek!

Now I should also mention that there is currently a 3 day sale event going on at Vero Modero on selected boots and shoes, the boots I wear are not part of the sale but there are some other great bargains to be had so go take a look. P.s you may notice there is a red box on the corner of the vendor for these boots it might just be a hunt gift...shhh......

Look of the day

It's been a while since I posted my last look of the day, but then it's been a while since I have wandered around SL in an outfit that I wasn't about to blog. Laughs at the irony in that statement since I didn't intent to blog it and now I have! So as usual my outfit consists of some fantastic freebies, cheapies  and  non freebies. I want to get all gushy about my new boots for the simple fact that I think they are amazing and so integral to this look! I spent so long in Lassitude & ennui trying to decide if I would have the boots with heels or the flats , and then what colour! as there are so many options oooh dilemma! Anyway I'm thrilled with my choice & might have to go back for some more.

In which she wears pink hair!

Well I thought pink hair wearing days were over...ok in my 1st life yes but when I saw this subtle pink shade of hair on a luckyboard at D!va I knew I had to have it! and so I teamed it with this 'Marine' look with this marine top, and Marine bermuda pants at Vera Modera . I love the cleverly designed top which looks like it had a prim bodice due to the creased effect, which helps keep my prim count down. Oh and yet another pair of fantastic footwear from Skifija. I know I harp on about them but honestly I've never found shoes as easy to wear, available with so many options, I just LOVE them!

Who says I can't wear that?

My father! that's who always said that to me in my days as a real life student. So when I picked up these boots  from Deco in the menstuff hunt , I knew instinctively what I would wear them with...I'd wear them with exactly what I would have done when I was a student.
{ "you wear such pretty things then I look down and you've got on some miners old boots, you can't go out looking like that!" ... "urghhh dad!"  - * goes off to sulk and listen to The Smiths* }
  The top part of this outfit is made up of 2 different tops - being a tunic ( from oyakin)  and the long sleeve part is  part of a sweater ( from Emery). Love this tutu style skirt ...which [yes dad] would look sweet with some little ballet pumps.
