Just a hint of colour

Primarily I based this outfit upon the skin of which I chose to blog as I find it interesting. I've only once before blogged a drow skin as quite frankly I don't find that they really differ a great deal, however this one stood out to me and I love the impact of the contrasting colour of the make up. Yes I do realise that they are designed with a fantasy theme in mind but hey this is SL and anything goes.

 So next came the hair and belt and then and then and then! I was lucky enough to get a preview of the brand new release of fabulous coat ranges from 22769 which have an animal skin/fur theme. I really couldn't decide between Zebra or reptile so it had to be decided between by the toss of a coin and so reptile won! Isn't it divine glamour?! the coats are being released today so go take a peek!

Now I should also mention that there is currently a 3 day sale event going on at Vero Modero on selected boots and shoes, the boots I wear are not part of the sale but there are some other great bargains to be had so go take a look. P.s you may notice there is a red box on the corner of the vendor for these boots it might just be a hunt gift...shhh......

This post, and also the first picture, has been inspired by quite a variety of items, the most powerful most likely being ~Tableau Vivant~'s latest release, the Adam skin, with its more-than-awesome non-eyebrow option. I have to confess that I was rather skeptical in the beginning, but after I considered how easy it is to create extraordinary looks with little effort, I was convinced. In this case, Nuuna's awesome eyebrow collection was a great help, and an inexpensive one, too! With a mere 200 L$ for 22 different brows on tattoo layer they're really a must have for everyone that likes to toy around with the subject.

Since it's my last thread of this year, it fits nicely that it's gonna be about Last Threads, too - in this case, I'm talking about A:S:S's contribution for this weekend's LVE. Available in 7 colours, the artistically shredded and torn shirt goes well with both glamorous and grungy styles and is unisex, too! The special price for La Venta Eventa is just 40 L$ for a single shirt, but the Last Thread's gonna be available in store after the event, too. The awesome claws I'm wearing are one of the newer releases from the superawesomedroolalicious jewelry store : Amorous : and have lots of functions (apart from looking gorgeous): you can hide and show the claws or choose between a plain claw option or another version that has additional, small claw-rings on thumb and ring finger.

Recently, I've been stalking VIGo's and KnickKnack's Lucky Chairs and the MiniMania again, hoping I'd be lucky and win one of the gorgeous fantasy/roleplay-outfits that both creators put so generously out to be won. It's always full priced items you can also buy in their shops, and since the texturing and the prim- and sculpt-work has convinced me long ago, I was rather excited when the 'S' finally showed up and blessed me with this beautiful ensemble. VIGo's Taliesin robe has an extraordinary collar solution and comes with sculpted sleeves and pants legs - the texture itself reminds of an expensive velvet, with a precious-looking edging of silver and black on the sleeves and chest piece.

Zombie Strippers

It had been the fairies who managed that all creatures got equal rights. They had felt discriminated by the other kins and unfortunatly they found an advocate who thought that it would be entertaining to help them. The lawyers were the only race which really liked the results of the no discrimination against any race act. They had more work than ever. Now it was possible that fairies could work as butchers and some trolls managed to get into the ballet as dancers (the stage broke under their weight and they found a giant treasure under it). Mister Smith was quite glad that no trolls applied to work as strippers but then there were the zombies.

When they aplied he did not know what to say. Of course they had really good shapes but their skin wasn't that good. But unfortunatly bad skin and many wounds belonged to the typical looks of zombies so he could not use that as reason not to hire them. It was the same with their moves. So he had to hire them. First he tried only to pay them so that they would not dance but one of the lawyers found out about it and forced him to let them dance. Those lawyers really were not able not to stick their nose into everything. Now he let the zombies dance in the afternoon. After that the club normaly needed to be cleaned they never managed to understand that they were allowed to throw their clothes away and not their limbs.

The fortune teller found his way back to Fallen Gods Inc. and brought Zombie skins. The pack contains a version for guys and two for females (with superboobs and with normal ones). The set also contains stripper bikinis in a male and a female version. But those also can be won in several colours at the fallen gods Lucky chair. The ones from the lucky chair are no copy but trans so its possible to give the ones you win twice to friends or to give the male ones to your boyfriend or the female ones to your girlfriend and so on. Those stripper clothes work of course with normal skins too.
The boots come from death row design. The hair he wears is sold at Madesigns. The hair on her is one of the latest releases from Wasabi Pills. The colour of the spikes and the hairband can be changed and of course the hair has a resizescript.
By the way its always nice to spend time at the Fallen Gods fortune teller. The people there are very funny and nice and if there is nobody its enough to ask for help in the groupchat. Then normaly people come around and help.

Black is this week's dominant *coughs* colour in the '52 Weeks Of Color' challenge, and the massive amounts of this shade in my inventory made it kinda hard to decide. Then I saw Luna's beautiful pic with the harness I'd planned on wearing and needed to change my plans a little not to look like a copycat, but I have to confess that I like this outfit even more than the one I originally had in mind. Recently, I had the questionable talent to leave the house and get soaked to the bone by some heavy rain not only 5 minutes later - even when the horizon looked clear and inviting while I was still inside. Luna has blessed us with the colour 'sienna' in the 10th week of her blogger-challenge, and once again I asked myself what it is that turns my inventory into 30k if I don't even own a piece of clothing in each colour. There is a lot of browns in there... the most different shades, but since I don't know what colours might still come up, I usually try to stay as close to the pictured one.

And this time, I thought I wanted to focus on a hair from Discord Designs, a store that offers a lot of nice prim beard styles and pretty cool braided hairdesigns with matching hairbases. But just showing a plain and simple profile shot didn't really feel like a challenge, so I went along with the idea that popped up in my head at night: the cover of a fictional SL-tattoo magazine.
