Croakie And Cutie

Jannina and Johanna Undershroom were twins, but sometimes even their mother had doubts about her two girls being siblings. Both were born with the fine green skin of the meadow pixies of the land, but the similarity ended there. Jannina was a real beauty, while the same inherited features became somewhat distorted on Johanna’s broad, froglike face… so much that their kinsfolk started calling them „Cutie” and „Croakie”. As the two girls grew, yet another difference became painfully obvious, though… that Jannina’s dreamlike traits covered a selfish and arrogant character, while plain Johanna was a nice, pleasant and helpful soul. 

One day the twins were doing their usual rounds in the woods, when they heard some feeble moaning from under a parasol mushroom. The moaner was a tiny and ancient man, and everybody well versed in the magical lore knows that such tiny and ancient men are usually powerful magicians in disguise. Furthermore, our learned readers also know that said tiny and ancient men usually ask for some favour, then they duly punish anyone answering their pleas in a high and mighty manner, while they fabulously reward the meek who lend them an ear and two hands.
The tiny person under the mushroom was an exemplary specimen of his kind, and so were the girls. Jannina answered his begging with a shrill and cheeky laughter, while Johanna just smiled and rolled up her sleeves… and later, when they returned to the village, their people just stood around and speechlessly stared at them. Because „Croakie” was a beautiful meadow pixie now, while „Cutie” wore some bright scars that disfigured her smooth beauty… as if their respective characters had been openly written on their small otherworldly faces.

This post, and also the first picture, has been inspired by quite a variety of items, the most powerful most likely being ~Tableau Vivant~'s latest release, the Adam skin, with its more-than-awesome non-eyebrow option. I have to confess that I was rather skeptical in the beginning, but after I considered how easy it is to create extraordinary looks with little effort, I was convinced. In this case, Nuuna's awesome eyebrow collection was a great help, and an inexpensive one, too! With a mere 200 L$ for 22 different brows on tattoo layer they're really a must have for everyone that likes to toy around with the subject.

Since it's my last thread of this year, it fits nicely that it's gonna be about Last Threads, too - in this case, I'm talking about A:S:S's contribution for this weekend's LVE. Available in 7 colours, the artistically shredded and torn shirt goes well with both glamorous and grungy styles and is unisex, too! The special price for La Venta Eventa is just 40 L$ for a single shirt, but the Last Thread's gonna be available in store after the event, too. When the lovely Miss Nuuna Nitely released her latest male skin, the 'Ellivu', I knew that I needed to have it - come what may! I'm still not quite sure if it was the sharp contrast between black and white that attracted me, or the fact that it looks so gorgeously gloomy; I've always had a fetish for bones and anything related, and this is what you get here: lots of delicious, beautiful bones all over the place (errr, skin).



In combination with the 'tunnel eyes' from {nestle my bosom} you can easily achieve the look of some nasty, walking dead that's been brought back to life by an experienced voodoo priestess seeking for revenge - and who needs nipples in that case, anyway?

The last time she escaped, we found her in the top floor of an abandoned industrial unit, staring out across the ruin of the planet. She had not tried to get out of the restraint, and didn't resist when we approached her and told her it was time to go to the ward. Chess Butterflies

She dreamed and returned to the chesslands. This time she was prepared. Her outfit was not only black or white as at the last times. This time they would not be able to use her as queen in a game she barely understood. And she had done some research in the time in which she was awake. Now she knew the rules better. She knew how every chess piece was allowed to move. This time she wouldn t loose the game. At least she thought so. The next night she was prepared much better. So she played chess every night. Until the head of the chessclub called her a bimbo. Acting suddenly much braver than she ever thought she would be she asked him for a chessduel and won. After that day she also played when she was awake. And she played much better than most.

The fly gown from SoliDea FoliEs belongs to their Surreal Collection. This collection is inspired by the dutch graphic artist M. C. Escher. He made some great pictures with butterflies. This dress is covered by butterflies. They glow while they slightly move at their position while the person who wears the gown moves. The hat and the skirt look a bit like butterfly cages. They primparts come with a resize script. And although they say not mod it was possible to stretch the chest part down to make it smaller. The dress comes with a body on the shirt and pants layer. It was a bit short on my avatar so I wore leggins on the undies layer so all bits were covered. It is worth to visit the SoliDea FoliEs store as they have many unique dresses and items. green and pink

DCNY has a great new outfit on the midnight mania board. Its a green top with fitting trousers. In the trousers a belt is included and they come in a version with and a version without flares. The skin is a freebie from nuuana's skins and is just amazing. Kimono love

I have to admit i like Kimonos. I do not really know how many i got but this one is my favourite. The textures are brilliant. The whole Kimono looks like made of shiny silk. It comes with a shape and a skin, which fit to the kimono and also fitting hair and eyes. But i prefer my own shape and eyes and hair.
This is the front of the kimono. The train is sculpted.
I love all the little details at the top. I even always have to smile after having put off the top layer of the kimono and seeing the white undershirt.

The Hair jewlery is also very pretty. The colour fits perfectly to the kimono.

Victory over the moths

I had to fight some evil butterflys. The fight did cost me nearly a wing. Angry because of the pain i cut their wings off and a brilliant seamstress made this dress out of them. My wing still hurts and hangs on my back but im sure it will heal soon.
