Recently, I had the questionable talent to leave the house and get soaked to the bone by some heavy rain not only 5 minutes later - even when the horizon looked clear and inviting while I was still inside. It's week 6 of the '52 Weeks of Color'-challenge... and Luna Jubilee blessed us with one of the colours I dislike most in both worlds - yellow. I don't own a single piece of it IRL, but when visiting PixelDolls' last sale, I saw these swimming-trunks and quickly snatched them for the sake of the challenge. Excuse me now though, there is a pink duck waiting for me in the tub and dirt that needs to be washed off.

I am a fan of all kind of tattoo-layers and collect them with an almost scary passion, so it was a 'must go' for me when I heard about Aitui's Halloween special: one of their hairbases with a shaved in spiderweb motive - for only 50 L$! You can find it in their hair department right next to the other hairbases, and the pack consists of 5 different versions, including one for the girls.


The unisex necklace I am wearing can be found on Tekeli-li's dollarbie wall and is part of a set that also includes earrings. It goes well with fantasy- and casual outfits and has been made out of a mixture of regular prims and sculpties. As usual with Tekeli-li jewels you can change gem-, metal- and leather-colours and switch glow on and off.

SF Design never misses to surprise me with their awesome monthly freebies. This time you can snatch up a nice pumpkin-coloured cardigan with a white nordic knit-pattern. Belt and bottom part come either as singles for perfect adjustment or in one piece with a resize script, both collar and sleeves are sculpted.

After a couple of golden October-days, this morning's horizon is just a mixture of different shades of grey. I guess that not only influenced my mood, but also my taste in clothing... fortunately, monochromes aren't unbecoming at all, even less when being paired with a dot of colour.

The 'dot' in this case is 22769's Red Wine Leather Jacket, part of an entire outfit Dagmar has blogged here. It consists of an additional shirt, scarf and capri-jeans. I really like the rich shade of red and the texture's suede look. As usual when it comes to 22769, the jacket is carefully crafted, well-textured and easy to resize and adjust when it comes to the sculpted parts.

The striped sweater is a nice basic I grabbed at Fishy Strawberry and has a sculpted bottom and sleeves you can't see in the picture. Free are the low-cut, salt & pepper textured pants, you can find them at Prodigal with a bunch of other male freebies in a bag sitting on top of their counter. Definately not free, but a little piece of art are the Docs from Gos, the most real looking Doc Martens I found so far. You can change their shape between 'pristine', 'abused' and 'loose' and modify almost every part of the shoe via menu.

This outfit's centerpiece is the delicious long leathercoat from 22769, of course in my favourite colour - black! I'm really a big fan of coats, and this surely has the potential to become one of my permanent favs. It has prim-cuffs and a sculpted (not flexi!) chest-/bottom piece that is resize scripted, so the fitting was an easy thing to do and took merely seconds.

Shimmering, black leather builds the hull of this garment, so you're pretty safe even in the worst autumnal rain or wintry snowfall, and the warm inner lining will keep you from freezing for sure, building an interesting contrast of light sheep's wool against the leather's darkness.

Picking up this colour theme, I decided on a pair of black and white striped pants with sculpted cuffs, also from 22769, and a plain shirt from Schadenfreude. Said button-down shirt is a perfect piece for both casual- and formal outfits and is available in a gazillion colours, with different attachment-points for the collar, in all possible clothing layers and even the possibility to choose if you want to wear its tails in a tidy, tucked fashion or in a messy way.
