Ready to Rock

There was nothing like music in her life. Unfortunately the moments on which she could enjoy them were unbearably rare. But there the parties. Initiated to make sure that the houses would not start to fight each other. For her they meant hours of boredom until all the really important people had left. After that she and the other younger ones enjoyed the opportunity to listen to music  - so loud that the floors vibrated.

Captivity Poses created an awesome pose prop for the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair 2014. It is a set of speakers with 16 different poses. Some of them are funny some sexy but all are great. The Fair will start at the 29th March and run till April 11.

Eloise had been out riding all day, through the fields and down the rutted tracks, her blue bike could handle the terrain. it had been a long, hot day, and she had enjoyed the time with her friends in the countryside. Stopping by the river, upstream, well before the pollution of the town hit, they had waded in the cool green water under the shade of the trees. Spreading out the blanket they had shared a picnic amongst the flowers that bloomed wild in the meadow, a playful reminder of childhood days gone by, the plastic cups of sparkling wine a cheerful nod to their adult state. As the sun passed through the sky, and started its descent it was time to head back to town, after all, she had a date. Emerging from her rented rooms, showered and fresh, still smelling of sun and daisies she was dressed to meet Jacques, brushing some tangled grass from the gears, she was ready.

  They had meet one hot day, a few weeks before, when Eloise had stumbled with some friends into the quiet cafe, their loud laughter and chatter fading in the sombre atmosphere. The cafe was, after all, a refuge for the great and the good of the town from the heat of offices and courtrooms. Retreating to one of the tables outside, shaded by the large parasols, yet with no protection from the noise and bustle of the street, the tables were less popular, and much more suitable. Jacques had noticed her straight away, not the loudest, or the most confident ordering, her sweet smile and clear laugh captured his heart. Risking the ire of the strict manager, as he cleared their table, he slipped a scrap of paper on which he had written his number into her hand along with the receipt. That same evening, they met and rode out for the first time. Now each evening, they kept this rendez-vous. Of course, they didn't just ride. The bike was quiet, and could get past the guards in the factory district. Away from the streets and cafes, often busy long into the summer nights, they headed where they wanted. Following the music from illicit parties, or just the flight of a bird, they were free of care and concerns. Stopping often, not tied by the roads, they shared kisses and promises, and would remain forever, even if only that summer, Jacques & Eloise.

Big yellow taxi

Is it a while since I blogged under a song title? or do I just do it all the time? but it makes me wonder how many would recognise is it as a song, or even which version you prefer. Well anyway it keeps me amused :) Today i'm sporting a bit of a biker girl look, since my tomboy look was so popular. I did want to find a spot to take a picture with a bike, but when I saw this taxi I couldn't miss the opportunity to do the song title thing...sorry.

In black lace

She had started to use the black needles a year ago. They were a gift a strange guy had given her. He had told her that she would become more and more beautiful when using them daily. And indeed her skin became softer and somehow her body changed. Not much but on a way which was attracting for men and women around her. And this changed her character. She became arrogant, annoying and just horrible. The black needles worked well. After a while she even started to wear the necklace he had given to her. She had to hurt herself to wear it but that was a fair price in her opinion.

Fishy Strawbery has a valentines sale. I really liked the black lingerie and after some male help i decided to buy it. Sometimes i like things but be not sure so i need friends to have a look to help me decide. Actually Storm sent me to the sale and Omen helped me to decide. The set consists out of a corset, undies and stockings. All parts come in a lot of versions. There are two parts of stockings, it could be worn with or without suspenders and there are many layers included. The black needles are an other item from a:s:s deluxe. [lotn - monochromes, red, meadows]

After a couple of golden October-days, this morning's horizon is just a mixture of different shades of grey. I guess that not only influenced my mood, but also my taste in clothing... fortunately, monochromes aren't unbecoming at all, even less when being paired with a dot of colour.

The 'dot' in this case is 22769's Red Wine Leather Jacket, part of an entire outfit Dagmar has blogged here. It consists of an additional shirt, scarf and capri-jeans. I really like the rich shade of red and the texture's suede look. As usual when it comes to 22769, the jacket is carefully crafted, well-textured and easy to resize and adjust when it comes to the sculpted parts.

The striped sweater is a nice basic I grabbed at Fishy Strawberry and has a sculpted bottom and sleeves you can't see in the picture. Free are the low-cut, salt & pepper textured pants, you can find them at Prodigal with a bunch of other male freebies in a bag sitting on top of their counter. Definately not free, but a little piece of art are the Docs from Gos, the most real looking Doc Martens I found so far. You can change their shape between 'pristine', 'abused' and 'loose' and modify almost every part of the shoe via menu.

This was one of my favorite finds over the weekend and it's not surprising that it's become a favorite for a mass of other bloggers ;-) It's called the "Tube Top Dress" and the package comes in 2 different colors + 2 different lengths. The bodice area is a sculpted prim and it works seamlessly with the rest of the outfit.
