Warrior of cards

It was a long tradition of the women of Nimoje family to read the cards for others. So nobody was surprised when Cilia showed a talent for that. It did not take her long to master even more difficult patterns and her forecasts became even more exact. Unfortunately they became too exact. She was able to tell people that they would loose their keys on a certain day to a certain time, and if they would be able to get them back or not. She also could tell them what they would drink or what kind of food they would get. It scared people. So her family tried to talk her into being less exact and she even tried but the more she tried to say simple sentences the more horrible things escaped her lips. And everything she said became true. For some time she tried to stop reading the cards but this also did not work. She started to see the future of random people in the leaves of trees or in dirt. And then she changed. She left her family and started to travel. Now and then she approached people and informed them about their future and disappeared again leaving a trail of cards behind her.
The Mia Mesh Hair from Wasabi Pills has been released some time ago. It amazes by it's livid design which makes it look like being blown to the side by strong wind while still looking elegant. So it goes very well with the Soldier of cards outfit from DownDownDown. The outfit is made of unrigged mesh and clothing layer parts. This makes it slightly old school but it is very unique and definitely worth to have a look at. DownDownDown offer a lot of cute and unique accessories as well. Captivity Co. take part in the Comic Fair. Their items are joker and card related. The pose used for the picture belongs to a set which contains the pose, cards and also a base ball bat - which has not been used for the picture. They also offer other comic related poses at that fair. Their booth is worth to look at, while the rest of the fair is mainly not related to the topic.

Ready to Rock

There was nothing like music in her life. Unfortunately the moments on which she could enjoy them were unbearably rare. But there the parties. Initiated to make sure that the houses would not start to fight each other. For her they meant hours of boredom until all the really important people had left. After that she and the other younger ones enjoyed the opportunity to listen to music  - so loud that the floors vibrated.

Captivity Poses created an awesome pose prop for the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair 2014. It is a set of speakers with 16 different poses. Some of them are funny some sexy but all are great. The Fair will start at the 29th March and run till April 11.

Hunger

The sound she made when she moved was slight but he could nearly feel her boredom and even more her hunger. But they had just arrived in the town and now they would need to wait until the furniture they had ordered would be brought into their house. The house was new as well. When it would be fully furnished there would be nothing in it which had ever been used by a human. It was difficult enough to have to deal with items which had been build by them. But with the time the marks left by humans would fade and the house would feel like it should and not give them the feeling of being surrounded by food. If they would have known what it means to be human they would have described the feeling like starving while being surrounded by the smell of wonderful food without being able to see or even eat it. Not that it was about smell. They were not vampires.
Still they lusted for humans. But now they had to wait he was not willing to leave the house before it was not completed. Which meant he would need to distract her but there was no reason why demons should not have fun as well.


The whole female outfit is built around a collar 22769 is selling in a gatcha at an event called L'accessories. It is a unrigged mesh item which can be addjusted and used as a eyecatcher. To balance the outfit it is needed to keep the rest of it rather calm, for example by just using a reduced amount of colours. The corset from Ison is very well made and the skirt from hucci is short enough to make sure that the boots, which hucci is selling at collabor 88, are seen as boots not as some kind of leggins. The Mia hair from Wasabi Pills creates a very dramatic look. It is made of rigged mesh. On both avatars horns from Cerridwen's Cauldron are used. They are available in a gatcha at their store. It is possible to choose the colour of the horn as well as the colour of the glow. Here both are white. The horns are made of unrigged mesh and it is possible to edit them to make them fit. On him the hair also comes from Wasabi Pills. It is the Teeloh hair which is inspired by the German singer Tilo Wolf. The hair is also available for females. To have a more interesting look at the shaved part a tattoo layer from Jomo has been added. They have several with different patterns. The eyes are mesh eyes from A:S:S Vision called Naga which look like reptile eyes and are great for roleplay. The skin comes from Nivaro. At the same store there are also additional tattoo layers with beards sold. The clothes are being sold at the mens dept and come from epia. The suit is made of rigged mesh and comes in one piece. There are three sizes included. The shoes are not rigged and have a resize script.
The big picture in the background is made by Spyralle and sold at Futurewave, an event which will end tomorrow. The Voronoi House from 22769's Furniture/House line Bauwerk can also be bought at future wave or directly on their sim. It is a low landimpact mesh house with beautifuly detailed windows and asymetrical windows. The stonegarden on the terrace is a pretty and unique add-on. The Beanbags are being sold by Apple Fall on the Collabor88 event. They include several poses. The kitchen which is seeable on the side on some pictures comes from Kuso.
The used poses come from Captivity Co., Ma Vie and Purple poses. Especially the suitcase poses are great for travel or moving themed pictures.

Wolfmoon

They were walking for days. At the beginning of their march she had still had boots but her feet started to hurt and at the third day they were so swollen that she had to take off her boots. She carried them for some more days but when they reached the mountains the skin on her soles was so thick that she did not need them anymore and they also hindered her. She exchanged them for some fruits for herself and some raw meat for Herra. The wolf had guided her the whole way. When they reached the forest she enjoyed the scent of the flowers and the leaves. Secretly she wished to stay but that would be the desicion of the wolf.
The Ugly and the Beautiful have some awesome items which look like being inspired by several animes. The Cerberus Cloak is made of unrigged mesh which allows to edit it. This has been done to take the pictures. For example the hood has been moved a bit to the side and the parts on the shoulders have been moved forward to make sure that the mesh top does not cut into them. All in all they look great and are awesome for pictures but behave like sculpted items. There is unfortunately no demo available in the store.  The mesh top comes from 22769 and is very well made. In the choosen colours it can be used for fantasy outfits as well as in more elegant combinations. The set includes the top in the standard sizes there is a demo available in the store so it is possible to test how they fit. The skirt comes from *COCO* and is made of mesh.
All poses are made by Captivity Co. The wolf comes with several poses which can be adjusted and is currently available and testable at Enchantment.

Colours of the sky

The colour of the sky changed in the middle of the fight and then she stood on different ground. It had happened before to her and she had been training for those moments since she could remember.
The next would be that they would try to trap her. But she knew that the area which surrounded her could not be real. The light was wrong. She drew her sword. It had been made by the best author and best smith of her clan. No matter if the ones she would need to fight would be real or written she was prepared.
The Surgical Nurse Mask from Razor is made of mesh and comes in the starndard sizes. The set includes an alpha layer and a hud which allows to colour the front part of the mask in different ways. For the pictures a black dye has been used.
The Hair is called "Erika" and comes from Wasabi Pills, it first has been released at the Fantasy Faire but is of course still available at their Main store. There is also a male version available with the name "Erik". The haircut fits great to romantic or fantasy looks but also works in combination with suits.
The Kimono is made of rigged mesh and comes from Sweetaholic. There are a wide range of colours available. As the Kimono contains the tabi socks as well as the geta it only comes in one size. This is sometimes a bit of a pity as it is not possible to wear it barefoot but as it is very well textured and nicely made it is not a real reason not to buy it.
The Katana is available at Messer Co. which means it does not only look great it is also scripted for CCS. Besides of being able to be used with racials it has some style options. The blade can be curved or straight and it is also possible to choose from several colouring options.
The poses come all from Captivity Co. Sometimes it is worth to test how normal poses look in combination with a weapon. No matter if it is a sword or a gun.
The used skin is currently a group gift at Glam Affair. It has a very intense make-up.

Escape

The snow felt good under her boots. And so felt the fact that she had managed to escape the party finally.
Not that she had disliked it too much, the food was decent but her friends had thought it would be a good idea to invite one of their male friends just so that they could meet and so on. And the guy was horrible. At least in her opinion. He did not only like popmusic he also read the wrong books and drove the wrong car.
And the whole evening he had been trying to figure out what she liked and everytime she admited something he suddenly liked it as well. The last thing she had come up with was some hobby she called jojotinning. In wich people would throw jojo's at tins. As he told her that he had really good things about that she could not stand it anymore and left. The trees would be a better company than a mindless man.

Amanda Randall joined Captivity Co.as posemaker and started doing amazing work for this already very good posestore. The used poses come from the laying set and a set with the name Leila. Both are single poses. The other items come from the Collabor88 event. The hair from clawtooth is available there in a pack which contains several colours. The capecoat is very cute and comes from u.f.o it is made of rigged mesh. When using a very active ao it can look sometimes a bit messy but at the same time it is so cute that this is not really a reason not to buy it. The skirt comes from ison. It is very elegant and still at least a bit playful with the ruffles at the side. The boots are made by Hucci and as all items from this event they are available in several colours.

Smoking Soiree

The thickly carpeted halls of the exclusive establishment had been reserved only for men, the titled, the political, even an odd royal or two. It was not a place for an entrepreneur, much less a woman. Such imbalances, as any errant numbers on her books, were not to be tolerated. It was impossible they said. To admit her would be to break the bounds of tradition. She decided to make a new tradition. For each black ball sent her way, she added pressure here and there, bought up the land, soaked up the titles, manipulated the politicians. Feathers were ruffled, the clack of her heels on the marble floors raised eyebrows at each step.

They had threatened to leave of course, to desert their hallowed halls and seek refuge from the real world in some other club, taking their prestige with them. Few had followed through on these threats. This daring female, this threat to their old ways and challenge to their views rapidly became the principle reason for their attendance. The soft rustle of her silk dress set ageing hearts aflutter, the low cut style still emanated class, the softness of her skin wrapped demurely in lace. Stretching out in the fine leather armchair, supple through years of use, she slipped a cigarette into her favoured holder, never having to wait long for a light.

The Vintage Fair is a delight! As with all such events, the sims took some getting into, but it was certainly worth the wait. A MESH build, so make sure you are on an appropriate viewer when you go! I'm a big fan of various vintage styles, and the range available at the fair was surprisingly eclectic (as my next post will show). 

This dress by GIZZA is a wonderful look. From arriving at their store at the fair, the railtracks cutting across the floor, I was in the time of Dillinger and Capone. Of course, the peplum skirt is also bang on trend for current fashions, and so the dress could easily be made to work as a very modern look.

Paired with the Captivity Co Vintage Noir Chair, this look is a real favourite of mine. The chair has multiple elegant poses for females / males, and sits in a subtle pool of  light, making it a great focal point in a dark room. I particularly like the buttoned leather and beading textures.
