Warrior of cards

It was a long tradition of the women of Nimoje family to read the cards for others. So nobody was surprised when Cilia showed a talent for that. It did not take her long to master even more difficult patterns and her forecasts became even more exact. Unfortunately they became too exact. She was able to tell people that they would loose their keys on a certain day to a certain time, and if they would be able to get them back or not. She also could tell them what they would drink or what kind of food they would get. It scared people. So her family tried to talk her into being less exact and she even tried but the more she tried to say simple sentences the more horrible things escaped her lips. And everything she said became true. For some time she tried to stop reading the cards but this also did not work. She started to see the future of random people in the leaves of trees or in dirt. And then she changed. She left her family and started to travel. Now and then she approached people and informed them about their future and disappeared again leaving a trail of cards behind her.
The Mia Mesh Hair from Wasabi Pills has been released some time ago. It amazes by it's livid design which makes it look like being blown to the side by strong wind while still looking elegant. So it goes very well with the Soldier of cards outfit from DownDownDown. The outfit is made of unrigged mesh and clothing layer parts. This makes it slightly old school but it is very unique and definitely worth to have a look at. DownDownDown offer a lot of cute and unique accessories as well. Captivity Co. take part in the Comic Fair. Their items are joker and card related. The pose used for the picture belongs to a set which contains the pose, cards and also a base ball bat - which has not been used for the picture. They also offer other comic related poses at that fair. Their booth is worth to look at, while the rest of the fair is mainly not related to the topic.

RMK Gothic Bunny Hunt 2014 - The Red Princess

The Red Princess was ready to become the Red Queen... oh yes, she was ready and greedy to rule. Yet, the current Red Queen was so impolite as not wanting to abdicate in her favour. What a shame. She was still young and energic, she said, and she planned to spend another decade on the throne. Or maybe two, if she couldn't finish her plan and have all the necessary heads chopped off... and, of course, there were those roses to be painted red, every year. "I'll die a princess if I don't come up with a plan soon!" - the Red Princess thought. "Mummy, Mummy, I'd rather you reconsider that abdication...or else." Her lips curled up into a nasty smile as she started walking towards the rose garden.

It's March and the capricious bunnies are back to the RMK Gothic sim, to be waited on front and back paw and to be silently begged to drop a precious gift card. Im your dog

It was a beautiful day. Eliza had spend it at the beach. The people there knew her allready. She was that girl with the bone. Thats what they called her. It was wrong. The truth was she was the dog with the bone who looked like a girl. She never talked much the bone was also a good excuse. It was the only which she still had from her first owner. It was in the late 1970ties when they met. Eliza had run away from her mother and the fellow puppies as those always pestered her. And somehow a magician found her. It was the time when people said that they would believe in magic but in truth only believed in powerful drugs. The perfect time for a true magician to live less like an hermit. With her dogmind Eliza wasn't able to understand what really was going on but then her owner transformed her. Maybe because he thought that it would be horrible to see her die so soon as dog years are so much shorter than human years or because of reasons a normal human could not imagine. Changing the shape also changed Eliza. She became smarter but the rites of the humans still were a mystery to her. And some habits she simply couldn't change. She still loved to chew on bones and was as faithful as only a dog could be. Of course it was her master who died first. Some hippies finally found out that the tricks he showed them were real and killed him when he was not willing to abuse his powers. Since then she was alone. With the time she learned to deal with her human body quite well but still she didn't manage not to carry now and then a bone around. 
The Gallery Gift Shop is one of the cutest monthly events in second life. Its a mix of a gallery and a shopping event. Kumaki Glasses Style is one of the stores which take part in it for a long time. For this round of the event they made a bone which is worn between the lips. It has a tag on it which says "Im your dog". The bone is made of non rigged mesh. So are the crowns which are worn around the wrists from DownDownDown. The set is available in a metalic version and one which reminds on water. The outfit is the current groupgift from 22769, a store which besides this also takes part in the Gallery Gift shop. The gift is an alternative looking outfit for guys and girls. It includes a top which can be worn with and without primsleeves, trousers and a belt. The boots come from Duh! and are currently available at the Zombie Popcorn Brand event. They have of course a resizescript and include not only an alphalayer but also invisible prims for those who do not use a viewer which can handle alphas.
The design with the tattoos on it is great and they are even unisex.
The pose on the first picture and the scooter on the second picture are available on the same event. The pose comes from Purple Poses and the scooter from !Bang. The scooter includes six poses. Its a loveply poseprop which has to be rezzed which makes it possible to use for photographers. The only problem I had dealing with it was that I didn't understand the notecard with the posesettings inside of it so I was not able to adjust the poses. But it looks very lovely and I guess with a bit testing it should work to adjust the poses. It is possible to test the scooter in the store.
The Hair from Wasabi Pills is called Lola. It is made of rigged mesh. The set includes it in a boobs and a normal version although its rigged for women so its more a bigger and a not so big boobs version. It also comes with a hud which allows to choose between 15 designs for the scarf and 14 for the bands which hold the braids together.
The skin and the shape come both from Adam and Eve. The shape was a gift there sometime ago and isn't available anymore but the skin still is.  It is called Victoria and the used version is the sunkissed one.

Valentines Day gone wrong

It could have been a great valentines day. At least in Cupid's opinion. He wanted to fly around and shoot arrows at people and spread the love. And of course his victims were not supposed to see him. At this special day he was even supposed to bring love to a fairy. Unfortunatly he had no clue that it was Sarina whom he planed to make happy. Sarina liked violence.
Being a supernatural being the fairy saw when Cupid came closer to her. In her opinion no other beings than fairies, insects and birds should be allowed to fly - some dragons allready had found out that she was not willing to make any exception - she had spend some time watching him. That he was carrying a bow and arrows did not improve her opinion about Cupid. It was clear that he was a suspect. And then he dared to shoot an arrow in her direction. Sarina had to act. There was only a fast move of her hand needed to catch the arrow before it hit her. With a flap of her wings flew to Cupid and grabbed his arm. Then she started to poke him with his own arrow. His whimpering sounded like music in her pointy ears. It made all excited and for some moments she did not concentrate so the maltreated one managed to flee. Sarina was annoyed in her excitement she had bitten on her lips and they were bleeding now. But at least she had managed to gain an arrow. The behaviour of her next prey would surprise her.

Evie's closet takes part in the Gallery Gift shop again. This time their item is a fairy gown in violet and fitting wings. It has sculpted belly sleeves and there are lacy sleeves for the upper arm as well. Those remind a bit on petals. The Top looks like it would be laced and ends in a skirt which looks like having been made of silk. A very nice detail are the laced cuffs for the wrists. Those are worn under the sleeves. All items are mod. The blush and the arrow are two more items from the Gallery Gift shop. The arrow comes from Down Down Down. It is non copy and a nice gift. The blush comes from Umeboshi. The set contains three blushs for the tattoo layer. The pose used for the pictures comes from evolve. The set where it belongs to has the name valentine. The background comes from a skybox I sell on the marketplace. The name of my store is Spessart. It has a footprint of 20 m x 20 m and consists of 17 prims.

Ghosthunter

The ectoplasm was so thick that it dripped in a continious flow from the ceiling and collected in puddles on the floor. The walls were like shadows for Reina. More like the idea of a house on which she could walk than a house itself. Born without eyes she was only able to see the spiritual world. Of course buildings left their traces in that world as they were created by humans. An architect had an idea and workers created the house and all of those people shared the idea of the house which finally made its way into the spiritual world. The older a building was and the more people used it the better Reina was able to see it. This buildings as average it had been a factory for some years but was lost now since an evil spirit found its home there. Of course nobody believed in evil spirits but as there were more and more accidents the workers started to talk and when the son of the owner disappeared the factory was closed. Of course other children had disappeared as well but their families were not wealthy so nobody cared. Now a group of investors had bought the land with the factory to put a shopping mall onto it. As a mall in which children disappeared would cause bad publicity and as bad publicity would mean less profit they called Reina to chase the evil spirit away. She did not earn bad with her job. Of course her advertisement was very discret and she took care that nobody knew at which places she worked, her customers were a bit sensitive when it came to the truth that they actually believed into the existance of ghosts. Reina was different in this. She wasn't a believer she knew. So she was walking through the building following the traces until she found the spirit. He had become mighty through the years and was throning on a pile of ancient telephonebooks in the highest floor of the building. The floor was covered with ectoplasm but Reina did not care. In a polite voice she asked him to go. She was not sure why she kept that habbit but her parents had tried to bring her up to be a kind person so she always asked the spirits first to leave. None of them ever had done so but luckily spirits were quite easy to manipulate. No matter what kind of spirit they were, they all - or at least most of them- feared elephants, this is also the reason why there are never any ghosts in zoos, as they thought the elephants would be able to suck them in with their trunk. Reina started to talk about the big elephant which was waiting in front of the building to move into it and offered the ghost her help to flee. Some time later she walked back down, her lips curled to a light grin. The ectoplasm was allready disappearing.

The current round of the gallery giftshop is still going on. And as always the items are really beautiful and unique. The skin with the closed eyes comes from lucky seven. Its a very pale skin with red lips. The skin comes with eyes which are completly white so it always seems like the avatar would have closed eyes. To make this look more beautiful it is possible to buy fitting lashes from the same store. The skin and the lashes come with in a transfer and a copy version in one set. So that you can keep one and give the transfer one to a friend. The kimono in the earthtones can be worn in a long version which covers the feet or in a normal version so that the getas which are included in the set are visible. Beside the getas the set contains also a headdress and a handbag. It was easy to adjust the kimono. There are two versions sold of the kimono one is a transfer one and the other one is copy. The blue puddles come from down down down. They are a nice decoration and as they are unrigged mesh its possible to stretch them. They are sold in a transferable version at the gallery gift shop. The pose comes from the CheerNo Motion Ladies Set 1.

Fashion by accident

Well todays post is inspired by a little mishap I had it SL yesterday (see my plurk link for details) and In this post I have overloaded on various textures but I still think it works. For me having everything so colour matched and co-ordinated often doesn't seem right. I love an eclectic mix, so lucky for me that that many styles at the moment embrace that, so what if your footwear doesn't match your handbag? so what if textures and colours clash? it may not work for you but there may be elements of the look that might do.

 If you're confident about what you wear that comes across, if you've heard the statement "it's not what you wear it's how you wear it" then you'll know what I mean. I'm sure you'll all know someone that just seems to be able to throw anything on, even if it does break many fashion rules and still look amazing gah! to them hehe but this is SL so have fun with it! Oh and by the way the top & shorts is a little preview of an amazing outfit you'll be able to pick up in the Depraved summer nights hunt which starts 1st June, but it's a good excuse to check out the cute items in store beforehand.
