Colours of the sky

The colour of the sky changed in the middle of the fight and then she stood on different ground. It had happened before to her and she had been training for those moments since she could remember.
The next would be that they would try to trap her. But she knew that the area which surrounded her could not be real. The light was wrong. She drew her sword. It had been made by the best author and best smith of her clan. No matter if the ones she would need to fight would be real or written she was prepared.
The Surgical Nurse Mask from Razor is made of mesh and comes in the starndard sizes. The set includes an alpha layer and a hud which allows to colour the front part of the mask in different ways. For the pictures a black dye has been used.
The Hair is called "Erika" and comes from Wasabi Pills, it first has been released at the Fantasy Faire but is of course still available at their Main store. There is also a male version available with the name "Erik". The haircut fits great to romantic or fantasy looks but also works in combination with suits.
The Kimono is made of rigged mesh and comes from Sweetaholic. There are a wide range of colours available. As the Kimono contains the tabi socks as well as the geta it only comes in one size. This is sometimes a bit of a pity as it is not possible to wear it barefoot but as it is very well textured and nicely made it is not a real reason not to buy it.
The Katana is available at Messer Co. which means it does not only look great it is also scripted for CCS. Besides of being able to be used with racials it has some style options. The blade can be curved or straight and it is also possible to choose from several colouring options.
The poses come all from Captivity Co. Sometimes it is worth to test how normal poses look in combination with a weapon. No matter if it is a sword or a gun.
The used skin is currently a group gift at Glam Affair. It has a very intense make-up.

Ohhh! I have some yummy stuff and I especially adore these boots from Baby monkey which come with a colour change hud and sock option so I can wear them with every outfit!
The hair is a new release at Love, I adore the curved slightly asymmetric fringe, the hair comes in 2 styles with or without hair tucked behind the ear - I rather like the tucked behind look it's a cute idea.
I am thrilled by the skirt too which looked mesh but isn't hurrah! and is a zombie popcorn hunt item at c'est la vie (look for a candy striped popcorn box)

Cassandre

I'm straying here from my usual look. Not necessarily too much style wise just with the shape. My regular shape is Lana from CS Shapes but when I was given Cassandre to try, I found that it gave me the opportunity to experiment with a different look. Cassandre is less realistically/idealistically proportioned and as such gives a more 'animated' look in my opinion which works perfectly with Fashionably dead skins which I've always admired. So decided to take advantage of the great range of skins currently available at Collabor88 to experiment with the look and was thrilled with the outcome.

The hair is a gift at the 'With love again ' hunt  from Sugarsmack whose designs never fails to please me. More details of the hunt can be found HERE it runs until the 6th January. Next I wanted to mention is a little store where I picked up the tights from and is only currently available on the marketplace. It has the most wonderful cute little vintage feel items at bargain prices so go take a peek!

The Gallery Gift Shop - an eclectic mixture between art gallery and store - has gone into it's 3rd cycle of releases, and 22769 is once again participating with a mesh-outfit that is perfect for fall. The beige pants are about 7/8 long and have a detailed, wide cuff to show off with your pair of favorite rainproof boots. Cable-knit is the comfortable sweater with the small turtleneck and its rich, dark-brown color, so if you're looking for a nice ensemble to lounge in front of the fireplace and enjoy your hot chocolate while the rain is pouring down outside, I can only recommend to visit the Gallery Gift Shop, grab a demo and then make it yours!

The exhibition I was visiting faded from the spotlight as soon as my eyes came to rest on the slender being that was slouching in such a confident, almost luring fashion on one of the offered seats, illuminated from a soft light from above, like it was a piece of art itself. I found myself stopping in my track, my eyes drawn with wonder and delight to the one that was looking back at me with a nearly mocking gaze from dark-rimmed hues, and the challengingly risen chin made me wonder if my thoughts had been read... yet, I approached, unable not to stare, to not worship this diversity of beauty - male, female? I did not know, but honestly, I couldn't have cared less when I leaned in and felt my tie being grabbed, and a throaty-soft voice uttered into my ear: "You can't have me... I'm not one of your many boys." As I blushed in a deep shade of crimson, caught in the act as I was, I saw a teasing shimmer simmering in those expressive eyes of light and darkness, knowing that our game had just begun - and that it wasn't me making the rules.


By know I've realized that I'm not only having a slight addiction to mesh itself, but specifically when it comes to mesh-made footwear. Not many things have ever bugged me as much as the weird positioning of prims when trying to sit down in overknee-boots, and I'm really glad that the times of my misery are over now - even more when the solution to this problem is as gorgeous as Miamai's recently released Hiatus boots. They come in 14 colours, and each shade is available in 4 different materials: gloss, which I am wearing, leather, laced and matte - that makes it a total of 56 pairs to pick from! Needless to say that I'm in boots heaven, right? The pants and corset I'm wearing are from A:S:S and have been a part of a special edition that isn't available anymore, but you can still find similar corsets in a variety of shades and patterns in store. The lovely blouse with the oversized bow is from *COCO*, where the clearance sale is still running.

Disco Inferno!

With the Disco hunt well underway what better opportunity than now to be a bit of a disco diva and shake your stuff on the dance floor!  The hunt kicked off on the 15th September and runs for a month -  Slurls and hints can be found HERE.

This hunt has a 70's based disco theme and there are an assortment of items including a dance floor, poses, furniture, jewelry & many 'groovy' (ahem sorry) outfits for men & women. The hunt object to look for is a disco ball. See below for a sample of my favs.

Barefooting

Just on my regular quest for great quality fabulous bargains I came across a little store called amato,  a little freebie/dollarbie store where I picked up these amazing shorts and eyes (take a closer peek at the peepers below). There are other items for men & women, but I especially like the eye selection.

I dropped in on one of my regulars, The Fashion Garret where i've discovered some of my favourites designers. I never seem to be able to leave that place without buying something! and of course I grabbed this great group gift but also this divine hair by Angel hair, and if you haven't already grabbed the latest fantastic group gift at Coco then go grab this barefeet now they're a definite must have!

Very mixed and quickly made....

A quick compilation of freebies which do not really fit together but i love them all.
For making the pictures i used a midnight mania gift from ChereeMotion 40 Pinup Poses (normaly sold for 1000 Linden).


I was stunned when i saw this dress at the midnight mania board at blue blood. Look at the details of the gloves. Its really stunning.

The Store is taking part at the Shining Stars hunt. Im very amazed by the eyes. And i think in future i will only trust Silverr Andel the creator of those wonderful eyes. For those who don't like hunts there are also some freebies in the Mainstore Sterling Artistry & Sterling Artistry Eyes . Be carefull there and don' t jump into the water.
