In the Jungle

On the search for her brother Sybill had seen more fantastic things and beings than she ever planed to see. Now she somehow got into this tropical forest and was not sure if she would ever manage to find out of it. The night had started quite promising. She visited a party in a house where she supposed that her brother might be trapped in. But although she had managed to get down to the cellar and to check all rooms there was no sign of her brother. Instead she found a path which lead her into the forest. She could simply go back but now she knew the secret of the house and of its owner. He would not want her being able to tell anybody that he knew how to open portals to other dimensions. So she needed to find an other portal but she did not know if she would end in the dimension she came from.

The Marilyn Outfit is new on the Bubblez Design lucky board. It is a short black dress which can either be worn with fur around the shoulders or without the fur - like on the picture. Freelancer

She got ready in the morning. As always she used the stairs for some stretching. Her sword was too long for her but she never cared about that.

She was a freelance bodyguard since she was 15. Some of her clients hoped that she would be a freelance hooker as well but she was good in teaching them that she wasn't that at all. The wives of her clients would even have said that she was brilliant in it.

She found her clients in the narrow streets of her hometown. Owners of small stores, worried mothers who wanted that their children got home save from school and now and then she even helped old people who mainly wanted somebody who carried their shopping, but it was still a job.

The nights she spend often waiting in corners. This was the time she worked in her other job which had nothing to do with protecting people at all.

I like the Class Uniform in black from Bubblez Design a lot. And was not able not to fall the white version of it. It comes with gloves and black socks. The Collar is held by a red bow.
The katana comes from Kimagawa. It works with CCS as well as with DCS. I love the elegance of the design. The pattern on the handle is just beautiful. The sheath has some ropes wrapped around it and there are pattern on gold inserted into the wood.
I combined the uniform with the CL hair from Magika. It is available in many colours and has those great streak options as all new hairs from Magika. The cut is asymetric and it looks like long hair which has been put into a ponytail and then wrapped over the side of the head. Because of its length or lack in length its great for pictures. Short hair makes is comfy as its not needed to take care to look all the time if it does not stick into the body or into prims. The set includes also a mirrored version. I bought the fatpack which contains 40 colours. Of course it is also possible to buy the colourpacks.

Silver eyes

The Kajummer School of fine arts was the best school for artists in the whole country. The best painters went there to learn to draw realistic paintings and carvers made amazing sculptures out of trees which were older than their grandparents. And there were the courses for smiths. Those courses had made the Kajummer School famous. The first royal goldsmith had been the founder of the school and all royal goldsmiths after him had attended the school. Many of them failed.

Luna had been one of those. Her father had been the royal goldsmith and she had the best chances to become the royal silversmith. Her ideas were outstanding and her talent made her teachers speechless. But she wanted to become better and better and stopped to believe into her own skills. Hoping to make one of her teachers help her learn the hidden techniques of metalparley, she began an affair with one. He should have known that Luna had extremly strong relations with metals than that she would have been able to keep her mind closed from the materials. She had supposed that she would be able to form gold and silver much easier when being able to communicate with it. Instead of that, the metal started to form her mind. She was constantly under its influence. Even while she slept the metal in her bed whispered thoughts into her mind. If her other teachers had known what was going on they would have put her into one of the special treehouses which had been built for the pupils who got too massively under the influence of the metals. Luna supposed that she would be able to handle the problems herself, and she was wrong.

Her works became stranger and somehow she started to hurt herself. She crossed the line. Even taking her away from metal would not have helped against her madness. Now even the iron in her blood was whispering to her. Luna started to create her works in the cellar of the school. She stopped to eat and her skin became lighter. The other pupils started to avoid the cellars as she used to walk around there night and day. At the day, which should have been the last day of her time in school she returned for an hour into the room of her class. She used the time to create something which looked like earrings. Little pearls added to each other with thin pieces of silver. Luna was faster than any other silversmith. Her teachers hoped that she had managed to deal with the voices in her head, but then she put the earrings in her eyes instead of her ears. Walking like she would be able to see, she went back to the cellar, where she stayed. With time, people saw her less often and after some years, they supposed that she had died. Now and then somebody heard the sounds of small pearls and silver.

The Artificial tears are the latest A:S:S deLuxe release. They are a small chain of pearls which is attached at the eye with a small silvery plate. Beside the eyepiercing there are artificial eyebrows made of gems included in the set. They are available in a version for females and one for males. It is very comfy that the items have a resizescript. This makes it very comfy to adjust them. The white kimono comes from Bubblez Design. The sleeves are sheer and the skirt seems to glow lightly which gives the outfit an a bit ghost like look. The obi is closed with red bands. All primparts come with resizescripts.

Miss Nuenza

Miss Nuenza was one of the best known illusionists. She let houses disappear and stones dance. Nobody knew much about her past. Her fame was based on the old rabbit trick. She was able to get so many out of her hat that even her colleagues had no idea how she did it. When she started her career her audience consisted out of many other illusionists - most of them more famous than she at that time - who tried to find out how her tricks worked. She got invitations from many of those men who tried to seduce her and to win her heart so that she would tell them how the illusions worked. None of those attempts was ever successful. Miss Nuenza was kind, sometimes she stayed of night but the men forgot what had happened in the time they had been alone with her. She was smart enough to let them believe that she had spend a time full of pleasures with them and their egos were big enough to believe her. The truth was Miss Nuenza wasn't an illusionist at all. She was a changeling. Her elven parents had exchanged her for a human child. She had not been aware of this for a long time but when she finally found it out she visited the elven lands, filled with romantic thoughts and ideas but returned soon disappointed and decided to use her natural talents. The trick was to let the tricks look like they would be an illusion. And to know where she put the houses she let disappear. The last time she had lost one had been annoying for her. But much more annoying for the inhabitants of the house which she had also let disappear.

The black butler hunt which is going on at the moment has a lot really well made and cute gifts. For example this suit with the long coats from Bubblez Design. It is made for guys but fits of course girls too. The prim parts have all a resize script which could be deleted. The chain which connects the both sides of the jacket is a nice detail. The hat has a black veil at the side and a bow wrapped around it. It is made for girls in my opinion. The lolli is also a huntgift. There are several mouthies included which could be worn too. For example tarrot cards or chocolate bars.

Gender change challenge

Having a little chat this morning, Dagmar  commented on how she had managed to make a male avatar for  0L and wondered if others may enjoy the challenge of doing the same. Well of course I thought it was an amazing idea and so did others, so Dags set up a Flickr group for the challenge, and wow what fun it's been! As you can imagine males set about it straight away and some who shall remain nameless (pssst don't tell anyone I told you but it's Flash Unplugged) seem to be having a little too much fun with it if you ask me! anyway here is my offering which was harder than I imagined......let me introduce to you Fauno Manwall! oh by the way I hope this doesn't make my avatar an unworthy offering by telling you he is ...ummm how should I say ...incomplete! ooh err.

Big yellow taxi

Is it a while since I blogged under a song title? or do I just do it all the time? but it makes me wonder how many would recognise is it as a song, or even which version you prefer. Well anyway it keeps me amused :) Today i'm sporting a bit of a biker girl look, since my tomboy look was so popular. I did want to find a spot to take a picture with a bike, but when I saw this taxi I couldn't miss the opportunity to do the song title thing...sorry.

A fine romance? [4]

 

Gascon left the Restaurant  and headed for where he might find her and sure enough he saw her painting outside Cafe Guerbois . She had not seen him , but on this occasion he had not wanted her to see him. He felt disgruntled that she was now customer to  Cafe Guerbois and not his restaurant, but also relieved just to catch a glimpse of her. Now he was no longer just curious about her, he wanted her back in his restaurant and away from Auguste!

Auguste did not cut a fine figure of a man, in fact he was rather plain looking, the kind of person you could meet 10 times and never remember, not by his looks in any case, but he had an aura about him and was extremely charming. There was something about Auguste that one simply could not resist, it was almost as if  he aroma about him, and once that aroma had filled your nostrils you were completely and utterly  intoxicated by it.., and a great many women had not resisted him.

Whilst she was blissfully unaware of these male attentions, it would be no secret soon of who her admirers were as quite out of the blue she received a gift. Excitedly she opened it to reveal the most beautiful  hand crafted amber  bracelet . There  was no note, no message in fact it was a complete mystery as to where the gift had come from.

Fade to grey

Still on my masculine/feminine theme I've thrown together a few items from the menstuff hunt ( look for the black t.shirt icon ) . I love these shorts which are a group gift ( mens) at bubblez . You can edit them so that the gusset prim hangs lower making them a baggy hareem style pant. The boots are also a group gift from Mary Jane shoes and have a colour change hud I LOVE colour change huds! The shirt which is from SB menswear in the menstuff hunt has various options too being short/long sleeve, tucked/untucked shirt & buttoned/unbuttoned collar. I love items that are adaptable like that , it shows a lot of clever thought on the designers part in my opinion and of course much better value for your linden. That is when you buy their full price items tee hee! so whilst I love to grab a bargain ( don't we all ) the freebies we collect are also a good representation of the quality you can expect from the designers, and therefore encouraging to purchase full price items. I know it's helped me discover my favourites.
