According to Wikipedia, Luna blessed us with "...a vague, unscientific color term which may be used to refer to almost any grayish-brown, brownish-gray, or warm gray color" this 12th week - and that is 'taupe'. I had a slight idea of what to go for, but I guess it's just up to everyone's imagination what and what not to see as taupe - just as it's the poet's artistic freedom to see an abandoned beach and wolves underneath the city's silvery moon.

Luna has blessed us with the colour 'sienna' in the 10th week of her blogger-challenge, and once again I asked myself what it is that turns my inventory into 30k if I don't even own a piece of clothing in each colour. There is a lot of browns in there... the most different shades, but since I don't know what colours might still come up, I usually try to stay as close to the pictured one.

And this time, I thought I wanted to focus on a hair from Discord Designs, a store that offers a lot of nice prim beard styles and pretty cool braided hairdesigns with matching hairbases. But just showing a plain and simple profile shot didn't really feel like a challenge, so I went along with the idea that popped up in my head at night: the cover of a fictional SL-tattoo magazine. Silver, this week's colour of Luna Jubilee's blogger challenge, is something I mostly link with jewelry, wrapping paper and cutlery, but since I wanted to spare you with a picture of myself only wrapped in foil (I'll keep that for another colour... I think), I dug my way through almost scary amounts of silvery hair shades and jewels to present you my first attempt in working with reflections in PS: silver and light with stains of white.

Once again, I'm approaching you with a post for Luna Jubilee's blogger challenge 52 Weeks of Color. This week's colour was plum, and in the end my picture turned out slightly different than I'd planned - my apologies if it's rather artistic than a well of information for you. The hair I'm wearing is the awesome new style "Fronz" from [Anaphora] whose beanie is texture-change and tintable, and the skin is, once again, my current favourite: Kriz from .:Hermony:.

He'd stowed away in his desperate attempt to escape the countryside's neverending widths, the rotting smell of crops that had never been harvested and were still spreading the humid perfume of an eternal autumn. It was the cold he was longing for - an icy storm's needle-sharp kisses on his face and the immaculate white of a snowy blanket covering the world's ugliness...


...but what he found in the end, once the train stopped and his impatient hands opened the heavy doors made of metal and wood wasn't snow, wasn't even white at all: it was a wintry sun's golden ray that bathed his dusty shape with a waterfall of glittering light, cold and crispy in this total absence of sounds between past and present.

Blue is the colour of the week, and I had a hard time finding something blue, and not teal (which I'm actually wearing a lot) in my inventory. Time to show you another lickable piece of 22769's latest collection, the 'Stekka'-outfit. It includes a fully sculpted linnen pants that reminds pretty much of a hakama, and a sculpted vest with an adorable chest piece that looks like being carved from jade. He'd overdone it a little on Halloween... but there had been just too many willing necks within his reach, too many camouflaged, drunken smiles -not- to embrace the opportunity, and so the one with the bleached curls had invited no less than a dozen souls to dance with death. Unfortunately, he'd been a bit too eager with some of them... and two nights later, he considered the air in the city getting too thin and the police too nosy.
