colorful corsage

 OH am I giddy about a the sale at Priss! there are many items at only 30L including this pretty little vest with  a flower corsage, there's also a new customer appreciation gift too which is a lovely little mesh clutch purse. Well you know how I love to bargain hunt so I popped along to one of my new favourite super bargain stores Evergreen only to find that there's this pretty shiny hair on the luckyboard, there is also a small selection of hairs in store for sale at only 80L each. I'm also loving the new release skin at Hush, I adore the silky smooth complexion of the skins but particularly like the make up on this one with it's subtle quirky different colour of top and bottom lips.

Homage to tiny bird

It's been a while since I blogged some glorious bargains and so I thought it was high time that I picked out some great quality free/bargain goods and I must say I am thrilled with my finds.
Firstly I popped down to Savior hair, the freebie hair store as I haven't been there in ages! and squealed with delight when I saw this hair by tiny bird as I was ever so sad when that store closed.
The blouse is a freebie from Jack spoon which is certainly worth a look around as there are some super cute items at super cute prices.
Pick up the sash along with lots of other goodies in a bag at Meena. The divine almost net like skirt is a luckyboard item at Y&R and last but not least my bargain items from the next round at  XYROOM where all items are less than 100L  the bag comes with a belt  by WOot & skin by Modish is 99L what a bargain! both from XYROOM.

Loving the Fifty Linden Friday items this week and so I had to get this blog post done ASAP so as not to miss it that's why I won't say much in this post. I do, however have to mention that I wear a sweater and tights that are part of a whole outfit currently featured in XYROOM. The outfit also has a black skirt with mittens attached and the sweater has a shrug prim attachment both of which are not shown in the picture.

Yet more pink!

It's easy to create a look that you love with so many great designs out there, I love to see how other people put outfits together too. When i'm out & about shopping I often see people and think wow that look is so cool! that's what I love most about SL the creative freedom that it gives you.

My inspiration for this look was from a an image I saw with a kaleidoscope of varying tones of the same colour. Pinks & purples I love and so it was natural for me to adore this skirt  - a new release at J.E.M It's  has this great satin effect to it  - yes I'll have the teal one too if you don't mind!

 I've been desperate to get these shoes on since I picked them up from Fir & Mna at the fifty linden friday event which I knew instantly that I wanted to wear with these tights that I grabbed at the store amato that I told you about in my last post - see I told you there was some great things to be had there!

It's always  tricky and often too late to blog the flf items as that but I always list their current price after the event. Guess what?,  I went back to check and the shoes are still available at 50L so get down there a.s.a.p there are black & red in both men & womens sizes ...what are you waiting for?! go!

Pastels

I trust all of you that participate in the Easter festivities had a lovely time...I certainly did although father in his pre-op condition did not do any morris dancing, or wear anything  ridiculous on his head, but instead burnt  his navel on the bbq, which was entertainment enough for us!

I came back to my second life only to be overwhelmed with fabulous things to blog, how ever will I get up to date? well first things first! you simply must go out and stalk this luckyboard, how pretty is this dress? which to my mind has a little influence from the eighties in it. The glasses are pretty cool too as they have 8 colour choices & tintable lenses, you know how I love these changeable colour items! they're such great value for linden.

Which brings me on to this bench. I still haven't got around to finishing the seasons hunt but I was so thrilled when  i picked up this bench which is currently a hunt item. Ohh my how much do I  adore this pretty little bench ? it's so clever too! with it's changeable options and would suit any surroundings. So go grab all these while I'm preparing to blog some more splendid things! x

A fine romance [5]

Her work for Auguste was complete, he seemed entirely thrilled with it and took to displaying immediately. He had paid her enough to keep her in Paris for a few more months, but Paris was very expensive and she knew that this money would keep her much longer elsewhere, so now she had the dilemma of whether to stay or move on.

Although she had an overwhelming feeling that she had unfinished business with Paris, still she had to be practical, for it was her art from which she made a living, and there was never any guarantee when the next opportunity would come along. Someone who knew this only too well was Pascal, a struggling artist who worked as a waiter for Auguste. Pascal had an arrangement with Auguste whereby he lived in a room above Cafe Guerbois rent free, and in return Pascal would make artworks for Auguste's collection.

In her time painting at Cafe Guerbois, she and Pascal had got along enormously, for they shared so many common interests. She adored Pascals' sense of humour, adventure and creativity and also how ruggedly handsome he looked in his slackerwear. Although they were both artists their talents could not be more different, whilst she  loved to work with oils, pastels & watercolours, his real passion was silversmithing, a talent which was more a secret than anything, as he never seemed to have time for, what with working at the Cafe and earning his keep in paintings for Auguste.

Pascal had been her first thought when she had received the mysterious bracelet, although that idea evaporated immediately, when she received another gift whilst sat at the cafe chatting with Pascal one afternoon. He looked as surprised as she did , when she opened it to reveal a necklace and earrings that matched the bracelet perfectly, again no note or message.
