Can you believe the generosity at Al Vulo? wow group & hunt gifts galore at that place and I'm always thrilled the creations! I particularly like the colour of this lipstick as it reminds me of one my aunt always used to wear, a lovely deep orangey red which reminded me of clementines ...yum!

Now if animal print is your thing then pop down to Pink lip gloss as there's quite a theme going on! With regard to the leggings and vest, if you like the style but not the print then do please go take a look as there's lots of other styles to choose from. So sorry if you like the neck bow, I didn't realise that Royal Blue had closed down, what a shame!

A fairy tale picture

I love this gown which is a new release at Vero Modero it has an almost mystical quality to it and that is why I chose to make this picture. I decided that I wanted to make a fairy tale picture, something that I've never done before, and I think it might be fun to carry it on as a little story - OH! whatever is she looking at?  maybe a future blogpost would reveal that.....

Loving the Fifty Linden Friday items this week and so I had to get this blog post done ASAP so as not to miss it that's why I won't say much in this post. I do, however have to mention that I wear a sweater and tights that are part of a whole outfit currently featured in XYROOM. The outfit also has a black skirt with mittens attached and the sweater has a shrug prim attachment both of which are not shown in the picture.

Default me

I  love this look so much that I made it my default look , so if you see me round and about in SL you'll most likely see me wearing this! so just a quick tip and i'm sure most of you know it & will sigh but just incase someone doesn't it's handy to make a default folder of your favorite look, so when you're faffing about playing dolly dress up & you don't like what you've done you can go back to the 'old me' in the click of a button!

Simply go to appearance then down to the bottom of the page where it says make outfit click on that, a series of box will appear , make sure all of those are ticked , rename your folder and of course mine is renamed default fauna, save and hey presto job is done! I hope you like all these items as much as I do

Teddy Girl

Work is over now it is time to have fun. And to look good to be able to compete with the look of the Teddy boys

When reading about the Subcultures blogger challenge i wanted to take part in it. And i hoped not to get the teddy boy theme. But of course i got it and so i had to read a bit about that youth culture of the 1950s. I did not want to adopt the look of the teddy boys but luckily i found a great fashion blog, calivintage, which had an entry about teddy girls. From the pictures there i liked this one best. The facial expression of that woman is just amazing in my opinion and the composition of the picture with her in the front standing cool and all the guys in the background is great. Im kind of sure that she knew how to tell all those boys to get her cigarettes or not to pester her younger siblings.
So i decided to combine a coat with two lines of buttons with rolled up jeans, pointy flat shoes and a handbag. On those pictures most of the girls wear scarfs i choosed to take a necklace from icing. The cigarette holder comes also from icing.
Choosing the hair took a lot of time and i have to admit i had help from Paco from 22769. I spend some time showing him what kind of hair i got in my inventory. With this short hair which is or has been a freebie from clawtooth he finally was content and so i decided to pick it for the pictures.
I really like this look and this blogger challenge is an awesome idea in my opinion, as it is always great to discover something new (ahm i discovered something old and found out that i like it thats also great).

Boots

Looking around at shadows of intent while wearing a pair of great boots. The boots are high enough to keep the water out of them when walking through the water at this place. Perse has a sale at the moment. So this is the perfect chance to get the pursay boots in all colours. Those boots are simply amazing in my opinion. I thought that a woman needs only a pair of decent high heels, sneakers and boots. So i hadn t bought shoes for a long time but wasn t able to resist the boots from perse. For me they are the perfect mix of modernity and classical elegance. The big pack of the boots contains the boots in 13 colours. And of each colour four versions (with buttons/without buttons and two kinds of shoes). Of course the colours are also available as single packs. What i find amazing is that the boots even look great in colours like purple or yellow. Its also surprising to how many different outfits they fit (i used the boots for some blogentries).

Freebie mix

Writing stories for blogging items takes much time. So i decided to be rather lazy and show just some freebies. Some might have been allready shown on bunches of other sides but i decided to ignore that simply.

Ducks are animals i somehow dislike. I like feeding them but then i try to throw the food as wide as i could so they have to swim a long distance. Or i try to feed only the outsider duck and chase the cool ones away. Philippe Shilova who built the nice hawk i blogged last week has now a duck with pond in his midnight mania. Both are low prim objects. The duck is rather wild and swims everywhere around. But in the pond its quite nice and behaves well.

To be honest i have no clue how this jumper got into my inventory but it says groupgift from Trashy Girls In Style. So i went to the store and had a look at the subscriber and saw that it is still there in the history. It comes with a sheer and a non sheer top. The sheer top looks like wearing a bra under the top so all bits are covered. The hairdress is a freebie from A.M.K.R.

The red hair was a wonderful subscriber gift from clawtooth. The silverhair says that it is white hair but actually it is grey. I was rather glad when winning the left outfit. It is from NV and the midnight mania board didn`t lock for days. Thats a problem which doesen`t exist for the right top. Its from OoEas and those midnight mania boards normaly get locked.

I nearly missed the Vitamen gift this month. Now im glad that i didn`t. The boxers are rather nice i like the colour and the fish are very friendly. The tattoo was a gift on a very cool lucky chair. Its a dancefloor and when your letter comes up you could jump on it and dance for some time. The dance is rather silly so its very funny.

5th Element outfit

A dirty town, old, crowded and full of slums. But there is she in her white fighting suit. Flexible, covering all bits and very very useful.
This outfit is fun. Its called Element Neko and is of course made in thought of the film "the 5ht element". It comes with red hair but as its longer than the hair in the film, i used this red hair from clawtooth for the pictures.

Playing with freebies and demos and gifts and just playing

Standing at my new island, wearing demo hair, a red nothing and giant boots from a midnight mania board. The being on my shoulder is a little panther. Its trans but not copy. So if anybody likes to have it send me an im and the first one gets it as i have so many animals. I don' t know anymore how to finance their food. The hair is from Clawtooth and quite nice but as i ll never buy short or blond hair i thought well hey show a picture of the demo it looks even funny. Its worth to visit Clawtooth, the hair is unique and the music in the store is great.
The outfit is a groupgift. Its very well made even at my avi the shoulder bow was placed perfectly without any adjustment.
